The Chief Commander took a swift step forward, standing protectively in front of Qingfeng Li . He exuded an energy that pierced the heavens .
 
Qingfeng Li stared at the Chief Commander in front of him in surprise . He hadn't thought that the Chief Commander would choose to help him .
 
When he gave it some thought, however, Qingfeng Li understood . He had just made a spirit monarch realm elixir back in the elixir store, and even earned the veneration of Wuhen Di . The master alchemist had even knelt before him, begging to be made a disciple . The Chief Commander, having witnessed all of this, naturally knew how powerful Qingfeng Li was and wanted to curry his favor .
 
The Chief Commander glared at the White Hair Devil . "What do you think you're doing?" he said, his voice cold . "This is Emerald Lake City, fighting is prohibited . "
 
"Qingfeng Li is my enemy," the White Hair Devil replied . "I must kill him today . "
 
A flash of cold light danced across the Chief Commander's eyes . He hadn't expected this White Hair Devil to resist his command; that was a dumb thing to do .
 
Spirit monarch realm second class energy erupted from the Chief Commander, enveloping the White Hair Devil . Then, he abruptly kicked out with his right foot, landing the blow straight in the Devil's gut . The White Hair Devil was sent flying back several hundred meters before crashing heavily into the ground .

The Chief Commander smiled humorlessly . "Good, now you know," he said . "I'm the Chief Commander of Emerald Lake City . I am in charge of maintaining the City's safety . If you dare to pick a fight again, I wouldn't mind breaking one of your legs . "
 
With that, the Chief Commander turned to Qingfeng Li, smiling . "Are you happy with his punishment?" he asked .
 
Qingfeng Li nodded . "Thank you, Chief Commander . If there's anything you need, feel free to tell me . I can make elixirs for you . "
 
Hearing Qingfeng Li's words, the Chief Commander's face lit up, his eyes filled with joy .
 
After Qingfeng Li parted ways with the Chief Commander, he returned to the inn . All his friends were gathered at his side . There were Mengyao Xu, Ya Yun, Black Puppy, Sky-Devouring Snake, and the Emperor of Lingyun . They stared at Qingfeng Li pleadingly . They knew full well how many elixirs Qingfeng Li had just received back at the elixir store .

Qingfeng Li was speechless . "I meant for you to take some vital essence recovery and spirit energy recovery elixirs," he said . "What are you taking the beauty elixirs for?"
 
Mengyao Xu's ruby lips curled into a smile . "I don't want the vital essence recovery and spirit energy recovery elixirs," she said, laughing . "I want these two beauty elixirs . If my face gets wounded, I can eat these to recover so it won't leave a scar . "

Qingfeng Li gave it some thought, then nodded . He agreed with the Sky Wolf Emperor . While he had the Fire Emperor Sword and Fire Supreme Sword, they were more suited for those in the Spirit Emperor and Supreme Realms .
 
Qingfeng Li's power had grown to the half-step spirit monarch realm . The spiritual treasures he had used before were no longer suitable for him . He needed to choose a spirit monarch realm weapon that matched his power level .

Remarkably, Ya Yun nodded from beside her . She agreed with what Mengyao Xu said; she felt that this store was terrible .
 
The Sky Wolf Emperor, Black Puppy, Sky-Devouring Snake, and the Emperor of Lingyun all agreed that this weapons store wasn't great as well . If they had to choose a weapon, they would choose a large store . For example, the weapons store operated by the Lord of Emerald Lake City was nice, it even had spirit monarch realm weapons and spiritual treasures .
 
Qingfeng Li shook his head . "You guys don't get it," he said . "Sometimes, the greater the treasure, the more inconspicuous its hiding place . "
 
Inside the Black Lumen Stone Weapon Store, there weren't even any attendants . There was only an old man . It was hard to tell his age, but he wore ragged clothing and his face was stained black .
