Looking at his phone, Ben took a step out of the elevator. Yet, before his foot even tread floor, someone assaulted him with a rampaging hug…
Not seeing who it was, his instinctual thought was, 'Please God, hitting you up one more time… Please don't let this be a random mental patient…'
Yet, things turned out better than expected…
It was a pink-haired girl, which could've still been bad, since Ben read on the wall that this was the children's ward…
It was only when Katie unburied her face from his shoulder and gave him a delirious kiss that Ben was sure everything was by the book… 'Safe…according to the law…'
Feeling the bounce of her D-cups and her juicy lips, Ben's little brother twitched, only calming down after a huddle in the bullpen with coach Ben. 'This isn't the place for that buddy… You trying to get us locked up???'
After a few seconds, Katie pulled her mouth away, showing him a big cheerful smile. She kept her arms wrapped around his neck as one of her legs lifted behind her in a classic movie moment…
"Ah!"
They both turned towards the noise behind her, seeing that the upturned leg almost tripped a random old man...
He was all right though…
As she clung onto him, Ben's eyebrows remained elevated due to her spirited greeting. Her enthusiasm was unusual from what he'd experienced and heard regarding follow-up dates with girls one didn't have s.e.x with yet. In this situation, women would often still play coy, but Katie was never a typical character...
"I missed you." she whispered as she smiled with her mouth and eyes.
He wasn't sure what to say for a second, then opted for the safe copycat method. "Missed you too…"
That made her eyes light up even further as she pulled him in for another tight hug while making cutesy sounds. After a few more moments of intense embrace, she released him. Then, picking up a white plastic bag she left by the wall, she grabbed Ben's hand and led him somewhere. "Come on."
Ben took this opportunity to look at Katie. She was cute as always, wearing a long dark blue wool coat with jeans and a light blue polo sweater. He also checked her statuses.

This was another surprise for him. Her status levels hadn't dropped at all, which was unusual and great news. It meant he'd have less work to do.
Soon, Katie brought him to their destination, a wide colorful playroom filled with a dozen young toddlers. "Katie's back!" One little boy yelled as the group of children ran over to her. Her eyes beamed as she kneeled down and gave them hugs one by one.
Ben examined the room. There were toys and games and pieces of bright-colored furniture everywhere, as well as a couple of staff members playing with the children. It was a bright atmosphere—though one that couldn't quite cover the sad reality—these kids were sick…
Some were bald, or thin, or pale, but anyone could tell at a glance what this place was—the ward for infirm children…
Katie smiled at the youngsters. "I brought something for you." She got up and approached a low table in the center of the space. Placing her bag on it, she then emptied the contents, revealing a small collection of manga and anime DVDs.
When the kids saw it, they cheered! Rushing to her sides, they looked through the items to see if their favorites were there, and of course they were; Katie always remembered to deliver the issues that followed the ones she brought last time.
The toddlers laughed and dove into their favorite fictional worlds, forgetting about the exhaustion, and the pain, and the images of their parents crying when they talked to those doctors in white coats...
Watching them so joyful, Katie felt a deep warmth in her chest…because a tiny boy was squeezing his head between her b.r.e.a.s.ts during a hug…

"William, that's enough!" She laughed as she tousled the boy's hair and removed the little league perv…
It was good she did so Ben didn't have to step in...
He glared at the brat. 'That's mine. Find your own titties son… I see through you, reborn pervert...'

Ben would get the last laugh, because he knew this Mushoku Tensei brat would end up wasting his magic talent, roaming around doing a bunch of nothing…
An elderly nurse walked over to Katie and apologized. "Sorry about him dear, you know how excited they get whenever you come."
She shook her head. "It's fine, I adore them…" She looked around at the kids, believing it was a blessing to have met them, and felt deep satisfaction.
The nurse glanced at Ben standing by Katie's side. "Is this your friend?"
Katie said nothing, only wrapping her arm around Ben's elbow and showing a proud smile.
"I see…" The nurse also smiled. "Young man, I hope you know how lucky you are to be with our little princess…"
Ben returned a nervous laugh. 'Damn, why do old women always try to pressure people?'
…
He was steadfast in his mind though. 'I seduced your princess fair and square…and I'm not paying a damn dowry…'

After a few more words, the nurse returned to her duties, leaving Katie and Ben to chat amongst themselves and play with the children. He was about to talk when he overheard an argument between two boys.
"No way! Usopp is the best! He'd beat up Sanji and Zoro with one bullet!"
Ben glanced at the speaker. 'Hold up. The f*ck did he just say?!?'

Pulling up his sleeves, he approached the boisterous child making audacious claims. "Hey, kid…what'd you just say about my nakama?"

Soon, Ben had to sit these chumps down and give them a long lecture about the pecking order on the Thousand Sunny…

Katie giggled watching him enlighten the youth. "Look, I'm not saying it's all about bounties…but putting on a weird mask doesn't give you the power of the Batman fruit…"

He couldn't let the future of America be swindled onto the wrong path…not by anyone but him...
