Trapped in a small elevator with red emergency glowing down on them, Ben and Laura's situation couldn't have been more complicated. Not only was it unknown how long they'd be there, but at the moment, she couldn't stand the sight of him. After all, he'd put her in such a complicated situation.

The energy release was a powerful physical stimulation of the nerves in any area, leading to increased blood flow and flow of other kinds… After he'd used it on himself, it went into a cooldown, only having recovered not long ago after charging for seven days. So, Ben couldn't help thinking about it. 'Would this work on Laura?'
He wasn't sure. Even if he stimulated her body though, what good would that do? She saw him as a mortal enemy. So wouldn't his attraction and comfort levels still be abysmal? Soon though, Ben remembered something Beluga had told him once. He tried to explain the dynamics of quick hookups.
