She woke up in a strange room . Where is she? Why does she sleep in somebody's bedroom? It confused her .

Cassie steps out of the bed and began roaming the house .

"Good morning, Cassandra . "

A tall handsome man greeted her then kissed her on the forehead . Dumbfounded, she takes a few steps back and confused written all over her face .

"What's the matter? Did you have a nightmare last night?" he asked her .

Nightmare? If this is a nightmare, then this is the most beautiful nightmare a person to experience . Greeted and kissed by a handsome man? Is the opposite effect? It was more likely a heaven's dream and waking up into this dream is a nightmare for her .

"I will make breakfast for us . Do you want me to join in the kitchen?"

He invited her! She should accept it? But she doesn't want this beautiful dream to an end . She nodded and follows him . The handsome man halted then glance at her, staring at her face . He then smiled and brushes off the messy strands on her head .

No way! She doesn't wash her face and brushes her hair before she steps out of the bedroom . She would not remember that anymore while she was dreaming, she was just following how this dream goes .



She looks up at the man, observing his body sways and his wide back . It was lean and hard . She could tell underneath his dark blue long sleeves and a striped tie . The tie was too perfect on it . She was still innocent at the age of thirteen, and so, she is uncertain what a real man should have a body like and what they do to achieve such a muscle . It's just, he is perfect to her innocent eyes and mind .

Wait, a minute? Why is she imagining things like this? She's way too young! Or is she having a crush on him? Then who is he? Why did he kiss her forehead? Oh, my gosh! Her innocent heart flutters and a strange feeling burning deep within her . What is happening to her? Why does her heart beating like this? It was like a familiarity? Who is he to her?

Is what troubling inside her head when she bumped into his broad back . He stopped, and she did not notice because all she did is to stare at his back .

"Oops! Are you, okay?" he asked her . "Do you have a fever?" he asked once more, and then he lowered her face, and she was panicking if ever he attempts to kiss her .

I am still innocent! She screams inside her head, just then, she feels his forehead brushes to hers .

"Hmm . . . you don't have a fever, but your face was to redden . Are you all right?"

She nodded . That's right, her cheeks are flushing red from embarrassment and crazy thoughts inside her head .

"All right, I will make a glass of milk, or you prefer hot chocolate, the usual?"

The usual? What does he mean? This is not their first meeting? She doesn't understand . But this is a dream so, the story goes like this, maybe . Did they know each other already and living in one roof?



Why does her heart beating like this? As it feels too real?


"Here, you can take a seat and do nothing for today . Looks like, you don't feel well this morning," he told her .

She blushes . He was sweet and thoughtful as she could perceive . Surely, he doesn't act as her brother on this dream, right? Also, he looks foreign . Too handsome with his pair of blue eyes and tiny beard under his beautiful lips .

She gulped . Why is she thinking these things? My gosh, what is happening to her? She's thirteen for goodness' sake! She rested her head on the counter .

"Cassandra?"

"Huh?" she looks up at him, he who leans at her then placing a mug of hot chocolate . "Ah, nothing . I must be sleepy yet," she responded, stammering the words .

She blushed . Because this handsome man is too close to her . He was staring intently at her face, and she is like in a panic if maybe there are morning stars on her eyes . And to her nervousness, she averted her eyes then picked up the mug and then sipped on it .

"Ouch!" her tongue burn! Shoot! She wasn't on her mind .



"Careful! Do you need some cold water?" He asked her, concern showing on his face .

"Ah, there's no need," she said out of bravery though her tongue burns badly . She will pretend because she was in great embarrassment .

God, help me . I didn't know this guy's name . I don't know what to do! She was still in a panic . She can't dig her brain to remember who he is .

"Ahem! Good morning!"

A familiar voice greeted them . Cassie peeping from Quinn, she who blocked by Quinn's huge body . To someone's point of view from the kitchen entrance, it more like they were kissing .

"Levi?" it surprised her to see him on her dream . But no, she must be mistaken . He might be the just look like Levi, or Levi has an older brother? "Ah, sorry . I must be mistaken," she said .

The two men looked at each other, confused the way she acted this morning .

"Have you forgotten anything?" Levi asked her . Cassie just shaking her head, confounded to his question . The two men exchange glances again, trying to figure out what's going on . Although they started understanding, they need to make it sure .

"Can you tell us what did you remember?" asked Levi .

"Um . I was living with Uncle Martin and—" she paused .

"Can you recognize him?" Levi pointed the guy next to him . But she just shakes head again . "Okay, he is brother Quinn . " Levi introduces him to her .

"But he is not a brother of mine, right?" she asks innocently that made Levi giggles, sounded teasing Quinn .

"No . We're not siblings," Quinn replied . "Can't you remember about your parents?" then he asked .

"Do you remember them?"

"I do . But—" sadness flashes on her eyes . "Uncle Martin said they died on a shipwrecked . "

Quinn felt like, his energy breakout from his body . What is going on here? Why is there another Cassandra who switches the body again? No . It must be the older Cassandra from that lifetime . Now he's worried about what happened to the real one . Is she okay? Is she transported to the future in an exchange for the one they have right here?

They need to do something sooner .

Quinn glances at Landon who halted in the entrance . He was about to enter when he heard what Cassie told them . Her memories say, her parents were dead already . Then she must not see them . It seems, she forgot the memories she spent with Landon and Hannah these past few days .  

Landon clenches his fist then steps back and leaves the kitchen . He needs to tell her wife about the changes in their daughter again .
