Jean read the text message Kier sent her . According to that guy, there is a woman and a man who will bring what she needed .

"So this is his resolves . " Jean murmurs .

Not that long then the doorbell rings . She first takes a peep in the door peephole if they are the people Kier have said .

Jean opens the door and a beautiful woman greeted her .

"Hi, Jean . "

Jean thought, what an angel appears on the doorsteps .

"Ah, hi . . . " she answered shyly .

"Hello, Jean! I finally meet you!" Daichi raises his hand and gives to Jean for a handshake .

"Ah . . . nice to meet," she accepts Daichi's hand .

"It's my pleasure!" Daichi smile wide .

"Well, can I come in?" asked Blaire .

"Ah, sure . Am sorry . " Jean widely open the door .

"Alright, ladies . I'll wait for you both below . " Daichi left the two women . He knew that he is not needed at this moment .



"What he means he's waiting?"

"Ah . We will go shopping?"

"What? But I don't have money and I am not allowed to go out too," Jean wearing a long face . She just argued with Kier awhile ago because she told him that she will have a quick shopping to buy some sanitary pads and another pair of undies .

"Don't worry, Kier gives me his card . You can buy all you needed . " Blaire smiled then take out Kier's debit card from her purse .

"So, you can prepare and change now to come with us . You are safe with us . "

"Okay . Thank you very much . "

"You are welcome, Jean . Here," Blaire handed the bag of hygiene stuff she bought .

"Ah . . . sorry to trouble you, Miss Blaire . "

"What are you talking about? We're about the same of age, just call me Blaire," she told her .

"Okay, Blaire . Thank you . I'll go wash up quick . "

"Don't worry, take your time," Blaire takes a seat in a single sofa, then grab a book to let her know she is willing to wait .

Jean went to the bathroom and prepare what she needed .

Last night, she and Kier went out to buy some groceries and a few changes of clothes for her . She was waiting in the sidewalk outside of the store because there's something the saleslady did not pack with the other stuff they bought and Kier asks for it .

She was frightened when a police car parked in front of her and the two officers came out then asks her few questions .

"Excuse me," said of the officers . "Can I asked you something about, ma'am?"

"What is it?" She nervously asks back . She glances at the store where Kier having an argument with the lady .

"Can we ask your name? And show me any identification?"

"Why?" Her heart beat racing inside . She becomes paler .

"We just doing a confirmation check, ma'am," the other officer who answered her .

"Why you are doing that?"

"We are . . . "

"What's the matter? Is there a problem?" Finally, Kier appeared behind her . She feels like she is passing out .


"Good evening, sir . We are the Immigration Police, we just doing a confirmation check to all the tourist and foreign workers . We wanted to see their passport and visas of stay . "

Ah, Jean feels like she will going to pass out any seconds soon .



"Is that so? Then why you are asking my wife?"

Jean was shocked by what she heard . The two police officers look at each other . Moreover, Kier grabs her on the waist .

"My name is Attorney Kier Lawrence, if do you have a problem, you can visit and asks your concerned at my family's law firm . I am sure you knew where it is . "

"Ah . . . I am sorry, Attorney Lawrence . Probably the records we have is incorrect," the police officer bowed to him .

"Yes . It must be outdated records as just recently we registered our marriage . "

"Ah . . . we see . We're sorry for disturbing your shopping . "

The two officers bowed once more .

"No problem . Have a good night officers . "

"Have a goodnight attorney Lawrence, Mrs . Lawrence . . . "

Kier grabs her closer giving a signal to answer .

"Ahh . . . yes! Have a goodnight officers!" she's panicking already . She bows twice .

"Let's go, honey," Kier began pulling her waist to walk towards their car .

"Ah . . . yes . " she smiled because the two officers still watching them .

She felt her body is trembling after she seated inside the car . Her heartbeat still racing inside her chest . Not because she almost caught but because they pretended to be a husband and wife . Her cheeks blush .

"What are you thinking about?"

Eh? What? She glances at him confusingly .

"Isn't the last time, you told I was your boyfriend? Then we're even now . "

Her mouth dropped on the car floor . This guy knew how to ruin a mood .

Jean shook her head . That's so crazy idea . Her? Mrs . Lawrence? Mrs . Jean Soberano Lawrence . Sounds good but . . . no! She shook her head again and continue her shower .

Meanwhile, the meeting Kier talks about is him to tell her family about Jean . He requested for his mom and brother Matt to come at their Law Firm for an important discussion with his dad .

They thought it was about Andrea's birthday but that's one thing yes .

And now, his brother, his mother, and his dad are giving him a funny facial reaction after he informed them about his situation at the present .

Moreover, the reason he decided to talk to them is because of what happens last night . He requested his father to do something about a marriage certificate that been registered two days ago .

He convinced them that it is necessary as protection for Jean when she is there main witnessed for the case they prepare to file soon before Senator Lou make a drastic move towards Jean and him .

"Stop the face, will you?" he told Matt and his parents for overreacting . He sighed .
