This was entirely Huo Yanyan's problem . Huo Mian couldn't care less and would never be bothered by it . After all, Huo Mian had her fair share of conflicts with Huo Yanyan in the past .
However, the matter was a little different now that the two women had included Huo Mian in their derogatory talk . Judging by the sound of it, they were very likely Song Yishi's friends .
They even refer to her as 'their Yishi'? Huo Mian shuddered at the thought of it .
Jiang Xiaowei was still changing in the fitting room . Huo Mian stood up and walked over with a smile . "Watch what you're saying, young lady . Karma can be a bitch . "
"Who the hell are you?" Clearly, the two women had no idea who Huo Mian was .
"What a coincidence, I'm a member of the Huo Family that you guys have been speaking so fondly of . I'm also the woman that's supposedly worse than Yishi but is favored by President Qin . "
"You eavesdropped on us? Have you got no manners?" one of the women objected .
"Manners? Of course, I can never compare to you girls . After all, people like you who speak behind others backs obviously have incredible manners . " Huo Mian smirked coldly as she scanned their faces .
"What did you say?!" One of the women raged .
"You heard me . " Huo Mian tilted her head slightly and glanced down with despise in her eyes .
"The women from the Huo Family are the poorest . Did you see that? Huo Yanyan doesn't even have money to buy clothes . It's merely thirty thousand yuan, and yet, she's asking for a discount! That's hilarious! Oh, and you! Your jacket, what brand is that? I bet it's not even branded . I knew you guys were poor!" The other woman quickly changed the subject as she realized she was not merely as gifted as Huo Mian when it came to speechcraft .
"You speak as if you're well-off," Huo Mian folded her arms across her chest .
"Of course I'm richer than you . My daddy loves me very much!" The woman said proudly .
"Hm, excuse me, but are you talking about your biological daddy or your sugar daddy?"
Even the sales associate began to giggle after Huo Mian finished speaking, admiring her eloquence .
Huo Yanyan watched silently as she contemplated, perhaps wondering why Huo Mian was standing up for her .
"What the hell are you saying! I was talking about real daddy! My daddy is the chairman of the Jia He Corporation," the woman heaved heavily with anger .
"Jia He? The steel company that started off with collecting garbage? Oh, I see, you're a nouveau riche, aren't you? That explains the mannerism," Huo Mian chuckled to herself .
Upon hearing this, Huo Yanyan couldn't help but also chuckle a bit .
The woman's face grew from red to purple and all the shades in between .
"Shut up!" The woman stomped her feet, reverting to throwing a tantrum like a child .
"Bickering is no fun . How about this? Let's place a game . We each pull out a debit card to see who has a higher balance . The person with more money wins and gets to slap the loser across the face . How does that sound?"
For a moment, the two women didn't know what to say against Huo Mian's request . After a moment, one of the women whispered to the other, "Don't be afraid of her, Lili . Your family is so rich, and you have millions in your account . You would win for sure . "
Lili listened and nodded in agreement . She looked up immediately with pride . Her eyes were full of prejudice as she said, "Sure, but don't you dare cry when I'm slapping you across the face . "
"Don't worry, I'm not that cowardly . " Huo Mian simply smiled .
"She's the only daughter in the family . Her father spoils her a lot, so she's got millions in her account . You shouldn't be betting on this," Huo Yanyan kindly whispered to Huo Mian, wanting to warn her .
"I'll be fine . Just watch . " Huo Mian waved her hand to the sales associate .
"Do you have an ATM here?" she asked .
"Yes, it's right by the door . " The sales associate pointed .
"Great! Everyone in the store, come and bear witness . We're about to make a bet!" Huo Mian smiled some more .
"I'll go first, so that you would know you've lost before you even began," the woman said as she took out her supreme status black card and walked over to the ATM . As she finished inputting her password, she looked back proudly at everyone as the screen showed her balance .
There were more than thirty-eight million yuan sitting in there . It was quite a large amount .
The woman glared down at Huo Mian, her eyes full of contempt . "Your turn, loser . I heard your father was a cheap-ass, so you and Huo Yanyan must be cheapskates too . "
Huo Mian didn't reply . She simply pulled out a regular ICBC debit card and walked towards the ATM with lightsome steps .
