“Not avenge per se. First of all, Mo Xue’er and I were just fuckbuddies, there were no real emotions. Second, I’m not that unaware of my abilities to think I can be Huo Siqian’s opponent. But, the enemy of an enemy is a friend, so, I won’t mention the show you two have been putting on to anyone.”

“What were you going to tell me while we were at the office?” Huo Mian asked, thinking he must have something very important to tell her. Not only that, it looked like it was related to Huo Siqian, so she had to interrupt him. If Huo Siqian heard everything, she couldn’t imagine what would happen.

“Song Yishi’s diary? What can it possibly contain?” Huo Mian narrowed her eyes. She remembered the time when Song Yishi was controlled by Huo Siqian and wrote a diary that led Qin Chu to become a suspected murderer. In her subconsciousness, she was disgusted by the word ‘diary’.

“You’re not seeing the point. The diary that went public after Song Yishi’s death, yes, it was written by her. But, she didn’t do it out of her own will, it was used to frame Qin Chu.”

“Correct,” Huo Mian nodded.

“But, this is a real diary that was handwritten by Song Yishi.”
