Yang Meirong put down her bowl and slapped the table, saying with agitation, "Qin Chu, look at what your mother is saying . Should a mother-in-law really speak to her daughter-in-law like that? Mian is anxious too when it comes to conceiving . You're not going to like what I'm going to say, but it's not accurate to say it's all Mian's fault that she's not pregnant yet . Huo Mian was rather good at bickering, but because of Qin Chu, she didn't want to go all out on Mrs . Qin . However, Mrs . Qin always took advantage of her elderly status and continued to bully Huo Mian, thinking that she was easy to pick on .

Qin Chu knew all of this . His heart throbbed as he imagined how hard things were for his wife .
