Ch . 2 – Exposing One’s Prowess

Outside Haoyue City .  (Haoyou -> Brightmoon)

A straight road led to the Bright Moon City gates, Chu Fei walked around the streets in a casual manner . Compared to others, he was much calmer .

From leaving South Village, and asking directions, Chu Fei took two whole days to reach the city . On the way, he heard some rumors about the world .

He found out that this place is called the Xian Wang Continent . Xian Wang Continent has five gates, each gate occupied by one of the five greats sects . Other than the five great sects, they are placed under the jurisdiction of Canyue Empire (Destroyed Moon/ Incomplete Moon) .

(Xian Wang = Immortal King and Canyue = Incomplete Moon/Destroyed Moon)

In the Xian Wang Continent, strength was respected . Without strength, you’re just dust . Everyone dreams of cultivating and to enter the realm of immortals . To do this, one must join a sect .

The five great sects recruit disciples every decade, the next disciple selection is in six months . So many people have come half a year early to prepare .

“Oi, you! Stop, I said stop!…”

Regardless of her identity or beauty, Chu Fei simply ignored her .

“I said stop, stop!” A voice constantly rang out .

“Shut up before I hit you, you long-winded girl!” Unable to tolerate her, Che Fei threatened her .

“Are you talking to me?” At this moment, an enchanting voice rang out .

Chu Fei turned and stood there in a daze as if his soul was taken away . After a few breaths, did he come back to his senses embarrassed .

Pure white skin like jade, in a mellow yellow dress . Long silky hair like a waterfall draped over her shoulder .

“This waist, these legs, I like!” The Old Demon’s voice rang out again .

“Shut up!”

Chu Fei shouted . After he regretted it and turned to the beauty, “Sorry, I’m not saying it to you . ”

The girl grinned, and didn’t blame Chu Fei, but smiled and asked: “You are going to the city, right?

“Hello, I’m called Chu Fei and yes . ” Chu Fei politely smiled and habitually stretched out his right hand .

Watching the girl and found out that she didn’t respond after a while . Chu Fei retracted his hand and was embarrassed .

“You don’t have money to enter the city do you?” He didn’t know how the girl found out in a single look .

Chu Fei froze for a moment, then looked at his attire and smiled . He really had no money to enter the Haoyue City .  The fee to enter must be paid and now he’s penniless . Entering the city was simply impossible .

Seeing Chu Fei reaction, she covered her mouth and smiled . She then took out a piece of silver and handed it to Chu Fei .

Just when he was going to refuse, a voice sounded from behind “Little girl, what are you doing? Didn’t someone I tell you to not trust strangers?”

The voice belonged to a teenager than a few years older than him . More than dozen guards followed him . The teen was very handsome .

“Long people just like, they took away the hands of the girls in the hands of the two, it is relative to Chu Fei cold words . ” [T/N: I don’t get this . ]

Chu Fei expression changed . To receive provocation from a spoilt brat for no reason . He didn’t give the other party face and said in a cold voice “Xiongtai misunderstood, I and this miss have met for the first time . ”

“Well, I certainly know that you don’t know her . ” The teen looked at him with contempt and ordered to his guards, “This trash attempted to sneak in Haoyue City!”

Swish! When he finished speaking, he drew his dagger and slashed at Chu Fei . The speed was fast and the force was enough to hack a ferocious beast to death .

“Big Brother, stop!”

The girl yelled but the teen ignored her .

Chu Fei didn’t think he was so overbearing, not giving him a chance to explain . Looking at the dagger, his feet gently moved, dodging the strike .

The teen attack missed but he didn’t intend to give up and followed up with a slash, but how can Chu  Fei give him this opportunity . His legs pushed off the ground toward the teen and punched toward his chest while avoiding the dagger at the same time . His speed was beyond the expectations of all .

“Good speed!” On the side, the girl and the guards were dumbfounded . They didn’t think that a seemingly thin teenager, would have such explosive power .

“Take this!” The young man was unwilling so he held the dagger with both hands and cut crossed the dagger . The dagger was aimed at his heart .

Seeing the other party using a fatal move, Chu Fei gathered spiritual force from his dantian and gathered it in his palm . He grabbed the teen and prepared to throw him . When Chu Fei grabbed him, he screamed as an energy drilled into his body .

“Master!”

“Big Brother!”

The girl and the guards were anxious and got ready to check him .

Chu Fei was also anxious, he didn’t know what happened . He looked at the guards and wanted to escape . The attack he used damaged his internal organs .

“Hurry, hurry up and save my brother!” The girl stood aside unable to help, only shouting on the side .

One, two…

More than a dozen guards rushed over, but when they came within five meters from Chu Fei, a strong force sucked their Qi and Chu Fei was the center .

“Magic power!” The one who recognized it shouted .

“What’s happening?” Chu Fei was confused, he felt more than a dozen different Qi entering his body at the same time .

“Is it the Devouring the Gods?”

The idea floated in his mind, but at the moment, he didn’t have the time to think about it, just the explosive power of his body was enough to deal with them .

Against more than a dozen people, he was being cornered . The Qi in the air drilled into various parts of his body, forced into his pores . The thought of that was horrifying .

Listening to his voice, Che Fei didn’t hesitate in the slightest .

“Stop, stop devouring!” Chu Fei also anxious, if he killed them, he wouldn’t be able to enter .
