The balloon exploded!
It exploded right behind Baby Chu. The huge noise gave Baby Chu such a shock that he jumped from the bed. His jaw fell, and the air in his balloon rushed out into his mouth!

The man snatched the balloon from Baby Chu and gave his head a hard smack.
