Chapter 28 Journey

For several hours after we left the Baris town, We kept walking relative relaxed.

Its bor~ing, I wish there was something to do… but that isn’t possible right.

so Grace-san-san spoke out-loud what he was thinking.

“Come to think of it, why was Yuma in that forest ?”(Grace-san)

Why I was in the forest…huh.I can’t just say that’s where I came to from another world.

“I was hunting over there yo. The rabbitsu in the forest are really delicious ne”(Yuma)

“Indeed, they are really tasty. Especially when roasted over the fire it’s quite exquisite.”(Grace-san)

By the way, does Grace-san not go around in a PT.

It felt like grace-san was trying to forcefully control his stirring emotions with his will and behaving himself…..but I can’t pry more into this matter since grace-san has told me not bother about it then this is the end of the story.
“That’s right. Is Yuma not in a Party”(grace)
“Aa,I think I will not form a party for a while because my skill set is quite special. It is not suitable  to fight together in a large group or a party.”(Yuma)
“I see. It is a good thing to not tell others about your skill set especially if it falls in range with in a special skill.Thats the best way to be safe.Because no matter what happens you cannot believe a person with 100% confidence”(grace-san)
That’s right,-that’s right. Especially because my skills seems a bit to OP although weak points of it do exist. One of them is a wide-area attack(AOE). Even though I can make myself disappear it would be easy since the attack works on a wide area.

After that we walked the path while occasionally talking about this worlds basic knowledge.
Night approached after walking for a few hours.

“Alright yuma,That’s enough for today. Lets camp here for tonight.”(grace)
“Understood. what should I help with?”(Yuma)
“Yuma can stay here, In the meanwhile ill go pick up the firewood and make a fire”(grace-san)
Hmm?Firewood for a bonfire? Then there should be enough in the item box.
“grace-san if you don’t mind I have a lot of firewood”(Yuma)
“what. Where have you kept it….wait Yuma can use item box then you can certainly have it”(grace-san)
Grace-san knows that I can use item box as well huh.well maybe gantt-san may have told him about it.
“Yes,I will take out a considerable number  of it out”(Yuma)

I take out 2 times the number of trees I used at the cave.
“Oh,If its this much it will hold out until tomorrow morning.

Then what we need next is fire.ah~yes I have the magic item that I brought from the town.”(grace)
He~h there is magic item to make fire huh.So there is such a thing as magic item ma~a its fine.Moreover.
“I know to use fire magic let me help out”(Yuma)
“Seriously?.Aren’t you like a cheat person?Ma~a Since you soloed the thiefs I though you were quite strong but this is too much ja`~a.Well anyways thank you Yuma”(grace)

I succeded in creating a fireball and used it to make a fire.

Alright success on the first try…Since I did not use fire magic lately I thought I would not be able to do it…I was a little scared though.
“Thank you~,Ja~a for now shall we have food.Ha~a its probably portable food huh.”(grace)

“Is there a problem ?”(yuma)
“ A~,Nothing there is just not much nutrition in these stuff.I don’t even want to….and also the taste is really bland..”(grace)
Are you serious!…I don’t want to eat such journey food.I want to eat as much tasty food as possible!.

“Grace-san I have a lot of rabbitsu and papou in my item box so~lets eat that together.”(yuma)
“O~are you telling the truth. I can eat it with you right ! ?”(grace)
As expected the food is really bad,and me eating this kind of delicious food in front of people with portable food (jerky) is really not good.I am not that bad of a person yo~.

“There are no problems as there are more than enough rabbitsu and papou in my item box. Its not an amount which I can alone finish so please lets have it together. ”(yuma)

“Thank yo~u. I Thought from now until we reach the next town we would be stuck having jerky for several days but we are saved.hey Yuma do you want to form a party with me? “(grace)
No I wouldn’t.

(TL:Literal translation of 組まねえよ= sumane yo. But it wouldn’t fit with the above lines so I made do with something like a tsukyomi)
Then we had a delicious meal made from rabbitsu and papou.

While we had a talk about this.

“Come to think of it grace-san,The town we are going to furokkusu exactly how is this town desu~ka?”(Yuma)

“A A~a rabbitsu barbecue was really good…..ah furukksu huh.Its a nice town ze.”(grace)
Furukkusu magical academy? Perhaps its like a school which teaches magic….Ma~a it doesn’t have anything to do with me,since im not intrested neither do I feel like going.
When we were taking about this,we are able to finish the meal.

“Fu~wa I really ate(kitta kita). Alright then Yuma for today we shall camp/sleep here since there is unforeseen danger its quite natural that one of us must stay awake for a period of time while the other sleeps.well we will split into Ma~a 4 hours each. So Yuma what do you want to do sleep first? Or sleep later?”(grace)
Fumu,The order of nightwatch huh,well actually whichever is fine Ma~a, well ill take the first one.

“Then ill take the first watch thank you very much”(yuma)

“All right I understand,Then ill go to sleep first but be carefull not to put out the fire well if its you,you can use fire magic to re-start the fire.and also if anything happens make sure to wake me up don’t take any action alone at any cost. Do you understand? ”(grace)

Well its like he teaching a kid…Ma~a it’s the first time im standing night watch so It can’t be helped

“Hai I understand.If anything happens ill make sure to wake grace-san up please help me out then yo ”(yuma)

“All Ri~ght.Im going to sleep….so until then Yuma please take care of me. ”(grace)

And then grace-san went to sleep.

And in just a few seconds I could hear sounds of snoring.

What is with this person~ ! . That way really fast paced to sleep ! .

No…no this may be normal thing for adventurers.They will fall asleep soon so that they can restore their physical and mental condition pretty quickly.

And so grace-san went to sleep and I was the only one left awake.

I looke up towards the sky and it was beautiful. Even if its another world it is really beautiful.

It was the first time I saw the night sky like this because I always stayed at the caves and inns so far.

And so I shouldn’t forget that when I look at the night sky like this that I am not of this world.

What might be going on with my original world…….Are my father and mother glad that a hikkimori like me ceased to exist…or are they atleast a little sad?…

While I was turning homesick the night slowly passed.
