What a scheme! The female owner must be blown away by my handsome face and is trying to keep me here to be the …male owner…


In fact, she is quite good-looking . I guess I could take her!
Zhang Zian touched his face and thought to himself .
He looked out the window . It started raining for real . What should I do? Is the rain karma for not buying an umbrella before hiking up? Or is something going to happen to me so that I am trapped in this mountain? Zhang Zian continued these thoughts in his mind .
The misty rain didn’t make any noise as it touched the ground, therefore he and Snowy didn’t realize it was raining until Sister Ye told them .
The fog disappeared from the rain . The whole mountain was full of green trees, a fantastic scene .
Zhang Zian walked up to the window . Far away, in the misty rain, there was the white coastal line winding through to the east .
"On sunny days, you can clearly see some landmark buildings from here… I wish there were more sunny days," the female owner said as she and the waitress both walked up to another window .
Zhang Zian followed her line of sight to see where she landed her eyes . He could see the field of Binhai University . There weren’t tall buildings in the way, so the beautiful green field stood out quite well . Using Binhai University as alandmark, he should be able to see his pet store; however, the visibility was too low today .
"I brought an umbrella . " Snowy unzipped her backpack and pulled out a small purple folding umbrella . It was so small that only one person could fit under it . If two people got under that umbrella, each would get half of their body wet .
"Come on . You take it," she said as she handed over the umbrella .
"How about you?" Zhang Zian asked .
"My wind-breaker is water resistant . I will be fine wearing it with my hood on . " She smiled and put up two fingers in a V-shape . "I am not in a hurry anyways . I can wait here for a bit longer if I have to . "
"You’d better not," the female owner interrupted . "The rain isn’t bad . If you use an umbrella, it is difficult to balance . The stone steps are very slippery in the rain; you might slip on your way down . I don’t think the rain will last long . Why don’t you wait? Are you in a hurry, sir?"
Zhang Zian hesitated . It was risky to leave in the rain, but no one could tell if the rain would stop soon or if it would get worse .
Snowy replied quickly, "He is the manager in a pet store . I guess he is in a rush to go back to the store and feed the pets . "

Snowy said, "That’s right . Mr . Manager is a super pet store owner . The cats in his store are well trained and have special skills . "
"Really? That’s great!" Sister Ye and Anxin thought Snowy was just being nice, so they didn’t pay extra attention . The so-called special skill might be very simple tricks such as pets putting their paws on a human’s hand .

Zhang Zian said humbly, "Well, you are exaggerating… my pets are only a bit better than those sold in any other pet store in the world . "
Sister Ye and Anxin were both at a loss for words .

They can sense a lot broader than humans . He also said that cats and dogs turn into a human’s best friend not because they accommodate themselves to how a human lives, but because their instincts drove them to live with humans so it was easier for them to live and reproduce . "


"A distinctive point indeed," Zhang Zian agreed .
The navigation elf once said that the quantity of cats and dogs was significantly higher than other animals in the game . Mankind was beyond all creatures . Cats and dogs were closest to humans so they could turn into an elfin easier .
If a normal cat or dog could speak, this world would be a lot different .
"The rain stopped!" Anxin said when she reached her arm out of the window .
"Thanks for having me . I am leaving now," Zhang Zian said after he confirmed that the rain had stopped .
"I will go with you . " Snowy put her umbrella back into her backpack and said, "Oh, the desserts were great!"
Anxin was very appreciative upon hearing this praise . "Thank you! My name is Anxin . This is Sister Ye . I made the desserts and she brewed the tea . We welcome YOU next time!" She emphasized "YOU" . Obviously, she didn’t want to see Zhang Zian ever again!
Zhang Zian didn’t mind . He wasn’t planning on coming again anyways . Who could afford having tea here every day? Such a money burning game! He had bigger goals in mind - to save up money and fix up the pet store .
Snowy made a face . "Everyone calls me Snowy! I don’t have any special skills… Mr . Manager’s cats are probably better than me…"
The viewers all replied, "Snowy, you are so cute . It is your special skill that no one could ever replace . "
Sister Ye and Anxin were fond of this lovely girl . She kept mentioning the special skills that Zhang Zian’s cats had, which made them curious . They wouldn’t believe Zhang Zian, but they trusted Snowy .
