After Wen Xinya left, the silence was restored in the room where the light was dim and yellow. Although it was warm at first, it was consumed by the darkness, making the room look dark and still.

Si Yiyan lit up a cigarette and then snubbed it nonchalantly. It made him look stern and mysterious.

Si Yiyan turned around and walked towards the bar counter as if he did not hear him. He took out a bottle of Clos du Mesnil. The champagne cork of the champagne bottle opened with a pop as if it was alive. It had a heavenly aroma that made him feel much calmer.

Gu Yuehan could sense that Si Yiyan’s emotions were stirring. Having worked for him for ten years, he understood Si Yiyan’s temperament very well, but he only realized now that he only understood the sides and attributes that Si Yiyan wanted him to see. The only person who truly understood him was Wen Xinya.

“What did they say about my suggestion?”
