The saint, Lilyxila, jumps from branch to branch with only light movements and lands on a branch right next to ours.

Partner emits a low growl as she restrains herself from looking all hostile.

Lilyxila tells Alphys as she pokes her cheek.
Then, she turns to me and looks straight into my eye.
I could’ve sworn I saw a pint of red light inside her jaded eyes.

“It would seem that the probability of us fighting here is only less than 1%”

I didn’t see any skill like that when I looked at her status……
No wait, she said % just now.
I remember how God’s Voice used to tell me the percentage of probabilities depending on the choices I’d make when I fought against the Little Rock Dragon back in the forest.

Although, I kinda stopped trusting God’s Voice ever since I evolved into a Plague Dragon.
It’s true that I wouldn’t have known how much damage was about to be caused on Millia’s village without the advice from God’s Voice.
But, I still hated God’s Voice since he was the one who set the slime to target the village in the first place.
This was mostly why I stopped trusting God’s Voice and his probability talk after seeing how everything still worked out fine despite not following any of the probabilities he told me.
And I didn’t regret it one bit, especially after seeing how the Hero became insane when God’s Voice cut their connection since he was too over-reliant on the probability options.

Though, from the looks of it, Lilyxila trusts the probabilities offered by God’s Voice too, in fact, she doesn’t hesitate to rely on it at all……

“Alphys, it is rude to show alertness when it is us who are barging in uninvited. And besides, we were the ones who decided to come all this way despite the long distance and our duties someplace else, so what’s a little risk here and there. You shouldn’t ruin the mood with your poorly developed manners. And, you already know I don’t need protection”

“…… I-I don’t see how you think that they’re not willing to fight”

Alphys, despite saying that, still listens to Lilyxila and stands down, then looks back at me again.
Her eyes still have a hint of hostility as she looks at me. Alo senses that gaze and continues to protectively cover me.

Lilyxila rebukes Alphys again.

The Hero…… does she mean the blonde Hero from Haranae?
Sounds like she doesn't have high expectation of that man either. Understandable.
And, in light of that…… she’s come to ask for my help.
I’ll believe in her words that she didn’t come here to fight for now.

At first, I thought she was requesting my help in stopping a human-monster war happening somewhere, but that’s apparently not the case here.
Actually, this is the first time I’ve heard about Ardezia getting overtaken by a Demon King.

And, you’re telling me that the big honcho of that place has been replaced by a monster……?

Lilyxila watches me carefully and immediately gets the gist of my situation.

I mean, of course. I forgot she has〖Telepathy〗which enables her to hear and share other people's thoughts.
Even if she didn’t ask, simply thinking of a strong thought makes it easier to capture what’s on their mind.
Not to mention, her〖Telepathy〗skill is at Lv 9. That’s very high.

Whenever I get too emotional, my thoughts just surface to my mind, and often enough, to my face.
I need to keep my thoughts in check the next time I’m in the presence of someone with〖Telepathy〗.

I’m still very hesitant whether to believe her or not.
It’s true that if a representative of the country like Lilyxila were to claim suspicion on the royal family of another country, then I can definitely see the disasters that would arouse from that.
Asking help from an outsider like me is certainly one way to deal with that problem, even though I’m clearly a monster here.
And, even if all of this is a sham to get rid of me somehow, then I don’t see the point of why she’d go through with this the roundabout way.
Stat-wise, they’re already strong enough to drag me by force if they want to.
Besides, if they really did come here to fight, they would’ve done so upon first arrival.
