Miia steps next to me as I land on the ground.

The hecatoncheir lands in front of us. It quickly readies its greatsword at me, and charges towards me.

“It’s become awfully aggressive against you. Shall we finish it already?”

I nod at Miia’s words. The hecatoncheir only has a minimal amount of MP left. In that regard we were able to create quite the leeway in the first half of the battle. It doesn’t seem likely that it’ll be able to deplete any of our HPs no matter how much it struggles.

The hecatoncheir charges in. Miia and I split to the left and right. The hecatoncheir comes swinging at me with its greatsword without a trace of hesitation, glaring.

“That’s too simple!”

Miia’s sharp attack slashes through the hecatoncheir’s back. However, the hecatoncheir completely ignores her, and swings its greatsword at me. I try to block with my blade, but it quickly retracts its sword and switches to a thrust.
