The battle with Miia over, we move outside the tower. I bury the thanatos body, and carve Miia’s name on a stone to make a small grave marker.

I don’t know whether I have any chance of winning. But, I’ve fought similar battles that seemed unwinnable several times before. I can probably… No, I will defeat the self-proclaimed god.

God’s Voice’s objective is apparently to produce a monster with the maximum [Laplace Interference Authority], in order to free Foren. I don’t know exactly why God’s Voice wants to free Foren.

But, I’m pretty sure God’s Voice exists within this world’s system. At the very least, they use the same skills that we use. God’s Voice used [Spirit Servant], and mentioned having [Laplace Interference Authority]. In other words, they’ll die when their HP is reduced to zero, and if God’s Voice treated as a monster they’ll even have a rank.

I don’t know what the deciding factor is, whether it’s the number of divine skills, the rank, or stats, but it seems [Laplace Interference Authority] won’t level up unless the user gets stronger. I know that God’s Voice doesn’t have [Laplace Interference Authority: LvMAX].

God’s Voice’s objective is to create a monster that is stronger than themself. In the case of a non-obedient monster like me, they’ll strengthen me as close as possible to the limit in order to collect data. In other words, it’s possible that I could possess the potential to surpass God’s Voice.

If God’s Voice mistakes that line, my fangs should be able to reach their throat. Of course, I don’t know how much potential I have. But it’s always been like this. The scale of the enemy has jumped up a bit, but I can’t falter now.

From the battle with Miia, Aro’s level increased from 106 to 109, and treant’s from 107 to 116. Aro’s rate of increase is impressive for after level 100, but treant’s is incredible. He went up nine whole levels, despite being high level already. The damage he did with [Fairy Hex] was huge after all.

Aro’s magic is insanely strong now. She’s easily cleared the 2000 mark.

Even the ruin’s magic stat didn’t reach that high. Of course, the ruin had the long range and wide-scale [Ruin] skill, but in terms of just destructive power, Aro’s [Dark Sphere] should deal similar damage now. On top of that, as long as she has MP to spare, she can use [Darkness Kaleidoscope] to multiply her damage output.

It’s easy to overlook because those around me are so strong, but Aro’s gotten super strong too… Her firepower probably is abnormally strong compared to others of the same rank. If hit with a barrage from [Darkness Kaleidoscope], Eldia or Beelzebub probably would have been killed without any chance for a counterattack. I wonder if the battle junkie Beelzebub would have been happy about that?

He’s in tree spirit form right now, so most of his stats are modified. I think this every time I see it, but his stats really are min-maxed. His HP and defence are almost as high as mine, and taking [Bark of the World Tree] into account, his defensive ability might actually be greater than mine.

…Though, he’s big and slow, and can’t really make any proactive attacks, so even as tanky as he is, it’s easy to imagine he could be killed easily by an opponent of the same rank if he’s by himself. Unfortunately, even though it can be a bit of a slog, he’s the type of monster that’s easily to deal with as long as you know what to do.

Of course, he’s not alone. Aro and I are with him. As a result, we’re able to cover for his lack of mobility and offensive ability, and bring out the best of his strengths. His power in a team has been confirmed through our battles with the origin matter and Miia.

My level reached the maximum, and my stats have gotten insanely high now.

I’m also curious about my new skill, [Butterfly Dream].

As the [Dream Dragon], the oneiros is supposed to rule over the world of dreams. Considering the name of the [Butterfly Dream] skill, and bearing in mind the skills I’ve gained so far as an oneiros, it’s probably got something to do with dreams or illusions. Since I got it from reaching the maximum level as a Legendary, it’s probably incredibly powerful.

However, there’s something more important. My [Final Evolution] title has disappeared.

In other words… I can evolve again. This will probably be the last time I evolve.
