Chapter 18: Destiny

The man is with the bow in his hand. Long and messy hair is growing until his chest. He is so thin that looks like a skeleton. But his eyes are very sharp, and it is red.

We are preparing to attack, but the patriarch suddenly shouting: “Ahan, is you there? Why are you becoming like that?”

I just notice the clothes the people wear is the same as the Aima tribe. The bow he uses is also the same as the people in the Aima. Is he the survivor in the last battle? How can he live here for such a long period of time?

A hoarse and strange voice coming out of his mouse:”Ahan is died for long time. That weak and timid guy is died for a long time!”

“No! You are Ahan! My good friend, I will remember you forever even you change a lot. I remember in that battle you are at the last of our group. You say you are tired and don’t want to walk so you left there. But when we finish the fighting with the devil gods we didn’t’ find you anymore, where are you? I will come to find you out if I know you are alive!”

A terrible smile produces from Ahan’s mouse, let everyone can’t help chilling:”it was all because of you are so silly and don’t know the words on the door. Go straight into the ‘death’ door. I know the words, so I didn’t choose the wrong way. ”

“You choose the door ‘power’!” I said surprisingly.

He is laughing loudly again. In that time, I give a eye to the Tiger King he understand quickly, “charge”, “Bang!”, Tiger King hit the wall of the room.

An armor that have high agility, how is it possible? Or, it is because his level is very high? Whatever it is it means we have trouble.

“This guy is controlled by the devil god because of he went into the wrong door. We must stop him!” I shouted loudly.

Unstop Chivalrous and another fighter rush to him right away and Lunar Dance is also adding assistant magician to us. And the armors is shooting him right now.

Patriarch said sadly:”Ahan, you become stronger! Were you really coming into that door? The seal is also broke by you?”

“Ha, ha, ha, I was always the weakest in the village, everyone, everyone can defeat me despite how hard I try! I want the power even in my dream!! The Devil God o Taming Monsters gives me power I want I am very grateful to him, so I want to be the slave of him. If I break the seal and let him out, he will give me more power!!! Ha, ha, ha!”

“So you choose destroy the effort or even feature to get power. Not only that, you also choose to destroy your humanity. So it is. I believe you found your destiny… But I should also do the things that I should do.”

When I heard about the destiny, I first think about myself.

Maybe I was same with Ahan. For unsatisfaction, I made a decision that will let me regret forever.

Even Ahan’s speed is very high, it is decreased a lot in the magic “muddy”. He is come closer by us. He see he can’t use his bow in that distance, so he use his knife to fight. Because of high grade, a armor can deal almost 100 damage to us. He hit us many times but all cured by Lunar Dance. 

 

Ahan realized he won’t defeat us if the Lunar Dance didn’t die. He suddenly rushes to him. I know he would do that so I went in front of the Lunar Dance and blocked in front of him with shied.

His power is so strong that I was hit away by him. But he also stop a moment. In this moment the Unstop Chivalrous catches him and gave him a hit, HP-50.

Ahan is surrounding by us. Without drugs and cure, he can’t support for a long time.

But at this time I can see the eyes of him, I shocked.

His eyes tell me, he doesn’t regret.

So it is, why I think this choice must be wrong to him. If he came into the death door together with others, would he satisfied? Would he get the power that in his dream?

If a person has no desire, how can he have hope? Came true the dream in a deformed way and didn’t do anything. Which one is better? No one can answer.

The god or so to say, the game gave Ahan such a destiny already. Even he has his own intelligent, his own thought. He can’t be stronger how hard he tried it. He must be struggle before he went into the door of power. But he still come inside, it’s his choice it’s also his destiny.

Ahan is stick by the arrow fully. The body controlled by the devil gods won’t bleed. But his HP is decreasing very fast.

His grade I can’t reconnaissance, but it must over 50. I suddenly feel very lucky that tens of thousands of people came into the altar, only one of them chosen the door of power. If there are more people do that. Besides the difficulty of fighting with them, the seal would be broke by them also. But in the other hands the mission is designed buy main machine. There’s a rule that the designer won’t design out the mission that can’t be finished. There must be a way to finishing it whether how difficult it is.

The Ahan finally end his life in the palace. He’s so crazy and didn’t give us chances to save him. But in the moment of his death, we can see there’s smiling in his face…

I am crying also but I change myself quickly. Now the most important thing is to fix the seal of the devil god.

But where is the devil god? I always feel the mission is not so easy.

I was shocked to see that all of my friend – including the Tiger King – the strongest person of us, is crying. And when it comes to the patriarch, he is bleeding from his eyes rather than tearing.

I jump up immediately; the Devil God of Taming Monsters is so terrible!

I know he is good at controlling the mind of creature, so it maybe another realm just as the realm of depressed he use outside of altar.

Suddenly a voice is roaming beside by ear, it says:”You can ignore my realm of sadness, are you a emotionless guy?”

I look at the center of palace. There are a figure consist of the purple smoke.

“you are the Devil Gods of Taming Monsters!”

“that’s right, but even I only wake up partly. It’s enough to control such a group of low-grade-guys. Why I can’t control you? Weird!”

I felt awful, the ability and the color of the devil god is all let me remind the Devil Xueke. He also has the high intelligent as Xueke is. Maybe he can use mental magic also. I don’t want to come back to the endless dark again.

The devil god felt my fear and said:”you are good, you can suffer my attack, so you can leave, the transfer matrix is at there.”

My mind is moved at the second. Do I need to come back? Just as facing with Xueke?

“Can I take my friends away?”I try to ask.

His figure is moved a little then said after while:”No, but you can take the equipments they drop away here. It’s the best decision I can made. I can retrieve my decision in any time. So decide quickly!”

“Ha-ha, I was almost scared by your performance. You just have such a little figure. You can’t damage me. Except those magic influence the heart of people. But it didn’t affect me in anyway. So let me make you come back to the seal. ”

The patriarch said this seal is consists of tens of magician’s magic power, and so as the magic crystal. It is also consists of magic power. So it might could recover the seal.

I rush to the big seal in the center of the palace with a magic crystal in my hand.

The soul of the Devil God of Taming Monsters is shouting, it raise its hands and shoot me a purple light ball. In this moment I realize I am wrong. He can give damage to me. he can use mental magic as Xueke was.

But I can’t avoid this, it’s too fast…
