As expected, someone in the sanatorium raised questions, but Xie Xinghe presented a legal warrant.
“Uncle, I brought a police dog.”
Police dogs had a heightened sense of smell. With their help, it would naturally be very easy to find Ye Tianxin.

Li Qingcang put Ye Tianxin’s hair in front of the police dog’s nose and let it sniff her scent.
“Go!”
The police dog began to look for Ye Tianxin based on her scent.
Li Qingcang was not idle either. He and Xie Xuning split up to find Ye Tianxin.
The police dog sniffed every corner of each room on the first floor.
The police dog stopped abruptly, crouched at the door of the room, and, facing the door, stuck its tongue out.
“Captain Li, there is a situation inside,” Xie Xuning said.
Li Qingcang rushed to the closed door. Without hesitation,he kicked the wooden door open.
Li Qingcang had imagined the situation when he saw Ye Tianxin, but the scene before him shocked him.
A woman was lying on the bed.
She seemed to be asleep, and the light, forming a small fan-like shadow under her eyes, shone on her long eyelashes.
That familiar face relieved Li Qingcang from having narrowly avoided tragedy.
He soon recovered and calmed his senses.
He quietly walked towards the woman cautiously, fearing that he would accidentally make a sound and startle the woman.
Li Qingcang stopped and stood near the bed. He sensed something was off. Could it really be Tianxin?
“Little Cang…”
Xie Xuning entered the room. He was surprised to see Li Qingcang standing by the woman’s bed, strangling her.
‘Who was it?’ Xie Xuning wondered. However, he didn’t stop Li Qingcang.
Li Qingcang’s face was filled with fury. They had been looking for Ye Tianxin, but their efforts had been futile. Then this woman…this woman…
The woman seemed to be aware that someone was trying to strangle her. She then opened her eyes, looked at Li Qingcang with a smile, and threw tear gas.
Thick smoke filled the small room in an instant. Nothing could be seen in the dense smoke.
However, Li Qingcang didn’t let go. His arm firmly held the woman’s neck and dragged her from the bed. The woman struggled, trying to break free from his grasp.
Then Li Qingcang forcefully pushed the woman against the wall.
“Where are you keeping my Tianxin?”
Li Qingcang’s eyes were full of rage, and his hand firmly grasped the woman’s throat.
Looking closely, the woman had a slight resemblance with Ye Tianxin, but Li Qingcang was too smart to be fooled. His grasp on the woman’s throat tightened, his veins on the neck and arms were visible.
His face displayed the emotions he dared not utter. Seeing this expression, the woman shuddered. She knew Li Qingcang would kill her. He would be merciless.
“I want to know,” the woman spoke, choking, “how did you know that I’m not her?”
A thought occurred on the woman’s mind: Dying before achieving victory!
Her disguise was flawless, but how did Li Qingcang recognize her at a glance?
She lost this time, which meant that their previous plans were all in vain.
She couldn’t hide behind Xie Xuning as Ye Tianxin. This would be harmful to their plans, and it would be useless, and even… It was possible that because of this failed abduction, they, ‘X’, would be wiped out.
“Say it! Where did you hide Ye Tianxin?” Li Qingcang screamed, banging the woman’s back against the wall.
