Chapter 7 – Party

The next morning. I woke up to the sound of a knocking.

「Good morning, breakfast is ready. Please come down to the dining room.」

「Oh, yeah.」

The room should have been locked, but still a person entered the room to wake me up.

「Hya, umm, Clothes! Why aren’t you wearing anything?」

Apparently the person who enter the room was Millia.

Why am I not wearing any clothes? Well, I was still wearing my underwear, so I am not really naked.

「Eh? I’m wearing something. Look.」

「Uwa! Yes, great! It isn’t necessary to show it.」

I tried to show my pants when Millia ran away while saying such a thing. She is a very shy person.

In order to follow Millia who ran away, I washed my face and got dressed so that I could head to the dining room.

「Oh, you finally came. Your breakfast is ready.」

「Oh, it looks delicious. Let’s eat.」

So I sat down to eat, when I felt a gaze looking straight at me.

Those gaze are probably Millia looking at me.

「Hey, Millia-chan. Because you didn’t need to go to the guild from today, so why don’t we eat together, too?」

「That’s good. You could deepen the friendship, because you will be together for a long time with Millia.」

Wonderfully, I am ones again stared at by Millia. However, because she can’t act against Mia-san?, She reluctantly sat down on the seat in front of me.

「I don’t intend to be together for a long time, but please let’s get along well while we are at it.」

「Yes, yes, let’s eat together.」

I got Millia to eat with me.

Because it is the morning, I was looking at the menu to see what is available for breakfast. Smoked meat with fried egg, bread & soup, and  salad.

「It is better to eating together with everyone, isn’t it?」

Our communication suck because Millia only says thing like “I don’t understand”, “I don’t know”, “I see”, and such.

「So you dislike me that much, ah.」

「I don’t particularly dislike you. I just don’t know what I should say.」

Yes, my heart was shattered into pieces if she had said that she dislike me then it would have scattered.Even though I didn’t want to hear it, but there is no helping it. The talk don’t advance at all.

「Because Millia are also seen Which face and private face at work, and puzzled by the or may be in contact with each other at which way.」 (「ミリアは仕事中の顔とプライベートの顔どっちも見られているから、どっちで接して良いか戸惑ってんだよ」)

I blushed and had to looked down. That’s right! Let’s have making it to private if hesitant. (　顔を赤くして俯いてしまった。そうだなぁ。迷っているならプライベートの方にしてもらおうかな。)

「However, Because it is likely to become tired because of the feeling working for a long time ..going., Let’s go with Millia of the source the same as always.」 (「でも、ずっと仕事中の感じで行くの疲れるだろうから、いつも通りの素のミリアちゃんで行こう？」)

「Hey, Millia. I’m in love with you?」

ミリア which thank you for the delicious meal と says, and takes tableware to the depths whether you are played with in ミーア, and you sulked. (　ミーアにイジられて拗ねたのか、ごちそうさま！　と言って食器を奥に持っていくミリア。)

Because I finished eating, when I tried to bring the tableware to the back, I was stopped to by Mi-san. Because I’m a customer, she said that I didn’t have to do it.

「Will you be go out to the town today? Because Millia will make your room later, The preparation and waiting are good. Please take care of Millia.」 (「今日も街の外に行くんだろ？　後からミリアを部屋に向かわせるから、準備して待っていると良い。ミリアの事よろしくな」)

「Yes, thank you for the delicious meal!」

So I went back to the room and, considering what to do today.

Should I just make a party with Millia and begin from there. Maybe I should get Millia registered as an adventure, first?

I guess I should go to the guild first. While I am there, I should take the time to accept a request.

Well, I don’t have enough money to buy equipment that I need, there is no helping it. So in the meantime I should earn money from the start.

When I was thinking about this, There was a knocking sound at the door of the room.  Apparently, Millia seems to have already come.

「It opened.」

The door was slowly opened, Slowly looking inside the room from behind the door knob. After confirming that everything was ok, Millia that steps into the room.

Why are you so cautious?

「Please excuse me. What are we going to do today?」

「Yes, I was just think about it.」

I told Millia what I have planned to do today.

「I was think about receiving a request from the guild and make some money? By the way, Millia-chan, have fought with monsters in the wild?」

「Umm…… Will you stop calling me by Millia-chan..?  Because I am not a child anymore.」

Apparently, she really didn’t seem to like the way I was calling her because we are in the same party now. I guess that it is common to call her without her honorifics from now on?

「Then, Milla. Have you fought with monsters in the wild?」

「Suddenly……Well, it is good. because father used to work for the guild and I used to help him all the time, how the time flow so fast?」

It seems that she has handled the request several times with her father. Have you actual gone outside the town since then?

「I see, because I just came here and do not know anything, It is reassuring because there is Millia to help me. Again, thank you very much!」

「Yes.」

After finishing our greeting, we want to greet Mia-san before I left the Inn, so I headed to the counter.

「You are already leaving. I already told the guild that you are quitting, so you should become an adventurer without any worries.」

「Thank you, Mother. Then, I will see you later!」

「Please Takashi, take care of Millia!」

「Yes! I will protect her to the best of my ability!」

After leaving the Inn, we started to head towards the guild.

On the way, Though it was said that such a word gave rise to a misunderstanding from [miria] and resign, It was answered as impossibility. (途中、ミリアからあんな言葉は誤解を生むから辞めてくれと言われたが、無理と答えておいた。)

When we arrived at the guild, it was very noisy. But the moment we entered it, it quieted down at you could hear if a pen dropped.

「What’s this? Did I do anything wrong?」

「What’s this? It is very strange.」

It has made the scene, but chirachira you look at everyone this. If you want to say something just say it! (シーンとしているが、全員こっちをチラチラ見ている。何か言いたい事あるなら言ってよ！)

I find out that some people were whispering, but I don’t know what they are talking about. I walked to the reception desk while being cautious of the people that are talking about us.

I wonder if the grandfather that is behind the reception desk is there because Millia quit from the guild.

「Oh, Millia-Chan. Good morning. When I heard, that you finally got yourself a lover. It is good. Oh, is he the sweetheart?」

「…Or who did you hear that from?」

「Mia-san visits this morning and told us that because you want to travel with him, you want to become an adventurer. Also said that from today onwards you won’t be able to work at the guild.」

The mother-in-law seems to have apparently nicely assisted us. Well, this seems to be the chance to get rid of the whispers.

「Thank you for looking after Millia up to now.」

The grandfather also seems to be very friendly and caring like the others I seen till now. I didn’t want to let Millia become embarrassed, so I went ahead.

Milia took out her ID cards while saying so. Embarrassed, although obedient, it is a good thing.

Are all the members cards necessary for a party’s registration to be completed? It will be very troublesome.

I have ask Millia, whether there aren’t any other ways to do this.

I took out the card and passes it to the grandfather.

「Okay, then wait a bit.」

「Hey! We haven’t talked about what to do next!」

I want to ask Millia few questions, the old man smiled and waved his hand, before walking to the back.
