In a place at a distance from the battlefield, Lieutenant general Gastar groaned these words as his face turned pale.
An impossible disastrous scene is spreads in front of his eyes.

A full smile was on her beautiful face.
However, it only spring terror inside Gastar’s heart. 美しい貌に満面の笑顔。 しかし、ガスターの心に浮かぶのは恐怖。
「Yo, you bastard!」
「Ah? It seems you forget about it.

「き、貴様は！」 「あら？ お忘れになったのかしら。 失礼な殿方ですわね」
With beauty to the extent of unforgettable, and her scarlet hair that let fluttering.

Repressing his fear, Gastar was going to give an attack order to his subordinate.
However, 忘れようも無い程美しい、緋色の髪を靡かせて。 テスタロッサは、困った子供を見やるような慈母の如き表情を浮かべてそう言った。 恐怖を押し殺し、ガスターは部下に攻撃命令を下そうとする。 しかし、
「I don’t really know what you’re going to do, but your subordinates are sleeping.
They seems tired, and will not get up anymore」 「何を為さりたかったのかは存じませんが、部下の方達はお休みですよ。 疲れていたのでしょう、もう起き上がる事は出来ないようですね」
So Testarossa whispered to his ear. Her movement speed was too fast.
Even thought he was not careless and he never take his eyes off of her.
Also, the most frightful matter was he didn’t heard any sound at all.
Gastar’s Unique Skill『Musician』, enable him to sense the enemy’s movement from the sound.
No matter how expert someone is, they couldn’t prevent making a faint sound, also, it’s possible for him to even grasp the heartbeat sounds.
But, he didn’t heard any sound at all.
And, he noticed another frightening thing at that time.
From his fallen down subordinates too, he heard no sound.
「Yo, you….. were you the one that killed my subordinates!?」 「お、お前……部下達を殺したのか！？」
To Gastar’s shout, ガスターの叫びに、
「Ah? It’s because I’m a bit hungry, so I only ate a bit, you know?」 「あら？ 少しお腹が減ったので、少々頂いただけですのよ？」
Testarossa answers without being timid. 悪びれもせず、テスタロッサが答える。
「You ate, you say? What do you eat?
「Yes, just a bit of the soul」 「頂いた、だと？ 何をだ？」 「ええ、魂を少し」
Gastar was enraged as she tell him so lightly like this.
To vent that anger, 簡単にそう告げられて、ガスターは激昂した。 その怒りをぶつけるべく、
「Die, you damn demon! Mind Requiem (Spirit Death Funeral Tune)!!」 「死ね、悪魔め！ 精神死送葬曲マインドレクイエム！！」
He scatter a killing sound to the surrounding space that have special effects to influence the spirit and cause it to die.
It was Lieutenant general Gastar’s trump card that could even kill a spiritual life form.
Despite this fact, 周囲の空間へ、精神へ影響を与え死亡させる特殊効果を持つ殺人音を撒き散らす。 精神生命体すらも殺害可能な、ガスター中将の奥の手だった。 それなのに、

It’s unfortunate, because I need to kill such an amazing musician like you」 「ああ、心地良い音色。人間にしておくのが勿体ないほど。 残念ですわ、こんなに素晴らしい音楽家である貴方を、殺さなければならないのだから」
Testarossa muttered with a fascinated expression that clouded with sadness.
There don’t seem to be any effect at all, Gastar who realized it fell into despair.
He was mislead by her beautiful appearance but the beautiful woman in front of his eyes was certainly not human.
She was an existence of incredible high rank too.
Perhaps, she may be a higher rank being than the currently rampaging demon wolf devil that was like a incarnation of violence.
This monster will not be the only one, so Gastar foresaw the failure of the current Empire army military operation.
Furthermore, disaster class monster like Veldora still not out. うっとりとした表情を悲しげに曇らせて、テスタロッサが呟いた。 全く効果が無いようであり、それを悟ったガスターは絶望する。 美しい外見に惑わされていたが、間違いなく目の前の美女は、人外だったのだ。 それも、桁外れに上位の存在。 ひょっとすると、暴れまわっている暴力の化身のような、あの魔狼型魔人よりも上位者かも知れない。 こんな化け物が一体だけでは無かった事に、ガスターは今回の帝国の軍事作戦の失敗を予見した。 この上、まだヴェルドラなどの天災級の魔物が控えているのだから。
「Please wait, let’s make a deal!」
「Ah? What kind of deal is it?」
「I, I have a high ranking position in the empire.
I’m familiar with military operation and I also hold the confidential information.
I promise to be useful. Therefore, I only want you to spare my life!」 「待ってくれ、取引がしたい！」 「あら？ どのような内容ですか？」 「お、俺は帝国でも階級が高い。 軍事作戦にも精通しているし、機密情報も握っている。 役に立つ事を約束する。だから、命だけは助けて欲しい！」
Gastar begs for his life by throwing away his shame and reputation.
However, there’s still light on his eyes, he looked at Testarossa’s appearance with carefulness.
It’s because sound of several people approaching was audible to Gastar’s “Ear”. 恥も外聞も投げ捨てて、命乞いをするガスター。 しかし、その目にはまだ光があり、油断なくテスタロッサの様子を窺っている。 ガスターの"耳"に、数名の者が接近する音が聞こえていたのだ。
Gastar thought by intuition, of the identity of the people approaching him.
Probably, it was people who sneak into to give situation report and monitor the battlefield, the subordinates of Empire Intelligence Bureau.
The Intelligence Bureau Staff or called Intelligence agent are holders of first-class combat abilities.
Although they has superior combat ability, they didn’t participate in the rank deciding battle.
They belongs to the Empire Intelligence Bureau, and they wouldn’t be transferred out from there.
Kondou Tatsuya, a cunning “Otherworlder”.
They were the diverse people who were active under him.
If it’s Kondou Tasuya, it will be not strange that he can assume such situation like this and had taken several measures for it.

Because all hope was used up in the beginning they met Testarossa. ガスターは接近する者の正体を、直感で思い当たっていた。 恐らくは、戦場を監視し状況報告をする目的で忍び込んでいた、帝国情報局の手の者だろう。 情報局局員或いは諜報員と呼ばれる、一級戦闘技能の保持者達である。 彼等は上位の戦闘能力があるにも関わらず、序列強奪戦に参加する事は無い。 帝国情報局に所属し、そこから異動する事が無いのである。 近藤達也タツヤ コンドウという、油断ならない"異世界人"。 その下で活動する、異質な者達なのだ。 近藤達也タツヤ コンドウならば、このような事態を想定して、幾つもの手段を講じていても不思議ではない。 だからこそ、命乞いでも何でもして時間を稼ぐ、そういう思惑であった。 しかし、その希望は打ち砕かれる。 そもそも、テスタロッサに遭遇した時点で、全ての希望は潰えていたのだから。
「Damn you demon, had you revived!?」 「悪魔め、復活したのか！」
Shouting so, people who belong to the Intelligence Bureau draw near unnoticed to Testarossa by sneaking under the cover of the general soldier and attacked her.
Those people seal off Testarossa’s movement from three sides with the chain made from the weaved monster’s fur.
It’s the strongest special move formation that can suppressed high rank monster――even an Arc Demon too.

‘I did it!’ Gastar raised a cheers inside his mind, at that time, そう叫び、一般兵に紛れて潜入していた情報局所属の者がテスタロッサへと忍び寄り、襲い掛かかった。 魔物の毛を織り込んで作られた鎖にて、三方からテスタロッサの動きを封じる者達。 上位の魔物――そう、上位魔将アークデーモンすらも封殺する、最高峰の必殺陣形。 三位一体で魔物を狩る、情報局のエリート達。 やったぞ！ ガスターが内心で喝采を挙げたその時、
「Ah, oh my oh my. This is nostalgic. You guys are the one who defeated me before right?
I’m so happy.
I was not able to eat to my heart’s content because I was disturbed at that time.
I haven’t forgot the grudge from that time you know.
Even so…. Will it be alright?

「Hmph, you monster! This evil presence, you’re the Arc Demon of that time!」
「You already revive huh. We will destroys your soul!」
「This place is not the place for you. As long as we here, we will not let you do as you like!」
「Now, Gastar-dono. Leave this to us. Quickly the retreat order!」 「フッ、化け物が！ この邪悪な気配、あの時の上位魔将アークデーモンか！」 「もう復活するとは、な。今度は魂ごと滅ぼしてやる！」 「貴様の居場所は此処には無い。我等が居る限り、貴様の好きにはさせん！」 「さあ、ガスター殿。ここは自分達にお任せ下さい。早く撤退命令を！」
Gastar begins to move as he came to his sense after the three people talked to him.
In panic, he was going to notify the entire army with his Unique Skill『Musician』but, 三名にそう言われ、思い出したように動きだすガスター。 慌てて、ユニークスキル『演奏者』にて全軍に通達しようとしたのだが、
「Hey. Do you think I will allow such a thing?」 「ねえ？ そんな事、許されると思うの？」
He felt the sensation of a delicate woman’s hand on his neck that make his cold soul freezing.
It’s Testarossa, there’s no need to see.
The chain strengthened with holy silver and with monster fur woven into it, which had high performance of legend class was ineffective as it was destroyed and broken.
The three shaken people turn their eyes to Testarossa who had moved to Gastar’s back.
Irritation and confusion appeared in their expression.
They didn’t see it at all how Testarossa destroyed the chain and since when did she moved.
And then, another hardship attacked them.
They heard a cute voice that was unbecoming to the battlefield from the sky. 首筋に、冷たく魂をも凍えさせそうな、繊細な女の手の感触を感じた。 見るまでもない、テスタロッサである。 魔物の毛が織り込まれた、聖銀を鍛えし鎖は、伝説級レジェンドでも上位性能を有するというのも虚しい程に、破壊され、砕かれていた。 動揺する三名が、ガスターとその背後に移動したテスタロッサへと視線を向ける。 その表情に、焦燥と混乱が浮かんでいた。
Even though Rimuru-sama had command us to let out all of our power, you will get scolded you know?」 「テスタロッサ、まだ殺して無かったの？ リムル様が全力を出せと仰せなのに、怒られるよ？」
A girl with bluish purple long hair styled as a ponytail fell from the sky while saying those words.
That girls seems to be the reinforcement for the demon in front of them, and from the girl’s way of talking suggests that the two were equal in rank and in addition has ability close to Testarossa’s level.
In a situation where even only one enemy was already hard, this kind of reinforcement was fatal.
They were the elite of the Intelligence Bureau which was the expert in killing demon.
They took pride in being able to kill an Arc Demon class even if one of the three people going one on one with it.
Despite this, the suppression barrier, that they proud of, was broken in front of their eyes, and now another monster with horrifying presence, which seems to be equal with the female demon appeared.
It was necessary to conclude that the situation was disadvantegeous. そう言いながら、紫紺の長髪をポニーテールにした少女が空から降って来た。 それは、目の前の悪魔への援軍を意味し、口調から同格かそれに近い能力を保有している事を匂わせる。 たった一人を相手取っても厳しい状況の中で、この援軍は致命的であった。 魔物を殺す達人である、情報局のエリート。 その三名は、自分達ならば一対一であっても上位魔将アークデーモンクラスをも斃せると自負していた。 それなのに、目の前で自慢の封殺結界を破られた上に、もう一体同格と思えるおぞましい気配の魔物が出現したのである。 戦況は不利と断じる必要があった。
「Gastar-dono, pull back from this place at once」 「ガスター殿、ここは一旦引きます」
One of them began chanting for Transfer Magic after notifying Gastar.
The remaining two begins to move in order to rescue Gastar.
Just after that, そうガスターに断りを入れ、一人が転移魔法の詠唱に入った。 残り二人はガスターを救出すべく動き出す。 直後、
「I hate people that don’t know true strength. Because I met familiar faces after a long time, unconsciously it became a long talk.
Ultima, I request a memory extraction on this person」
「Ooke~. What will Testa do?」

Testarossa answered the three people’s question and calmly steps forward.
テスタロッサは三人の疑問に答え、悠然と歩を進める。
「What did you say? Magic Canceller!?」
「No way, even reproduction by magic…...!?」 「何だと？ 魔素撹乱放射マジックキャンセラー！？」 「まさか、魔法で再現したとでも……！？」
Via Thought Link, the demons were sharing information.
So, using the skill reproduced from the information they obtained was like a child’s play for them.
However, such a thing was a talk of an unfathomable dimension for human’s common sense, it’s not something that could be understand by the three Intelligence Bureau agents.

「You, what the hell are you!? There’s no way an Arc Demon have power to that extent!!」 「お前は、お前は何なのだ！？ 上位魔将アークデーモンにそれ程までの力がある筈が無い！！」
One of them shouts painted over fear.
Testarossa deepened her smile as she happily heard the shout.
恐怖を塗りつぶすように、叫ぶ。 その叫びを愉しそうに聞いて、テスタロッサは微笑みを深めた。
「Yes, it’s so. I’m a higher existence than Arc Demon.
Or rather, I think that my status is different from an Arc Demon though…..
Do you want to see it together?
It’s sad when you don’t understood something if I don’t speak it myself.」 「ええ、そうね。私は上位魔将アークデーモンよりは上位の存在だわね。 というか、アークデーモンとは格が違うと思うのだけど…… 一緒に見えるのかしら？ 自分で言わなければ理解されないのって、悲しいわ」
The answer of their question was an affirmative just like she said.
And, 彼等の疑問に答え、その通りだと肯定する。 そして、
「Well then, though it’s regrettable, farewell」 「じゃあ、名残惜しいけれど、お別れね」
So she announced.
The situation was already too late when the three people understood the meaning of the words.
They would reach death without understanding the true identity of the being they faced.
Or, it might be a good luck. と、告げた。 三名が、その告げられた言葉の意味を理解するには、状況は既に遅きに失した。 彼等は、自らが相対したものの真なる正体に気付く事もなく、死を迎える事になったのだ。 或いは、それは幸運だったのかも知れないのだが。

Testarossa condensed the black flame to size of a fist and crushed it as it is.
「”Death Streak (Blessing of Death)”」 「"死の祝福デスストリーク"」
So, she whispered just like singing.
At the moment the black flame was crushed in her hand, black light diffuses to the surroundings.
That light has a property of penetrating almost all kind of substances. It’s not a natural generated light.
It had the characteristic of not causing physical destruction.
When the light penetrate a living creature, it affect the genetic arrangement.
Almost all living creatures were killed forcibly because the forced genetic rewriting.
It’s the extremely evil, magic of death.
However, this light had another aim, or so the legend that had been handed down from the past.
Only someone who has ability to storage the soul or spiritual life form that can withstand this magic.
It’s also possible for someone who can revive from a complete physical body destruction.
と、歌うように囁いた。 瞬間、握りつぶされた黒い炎が、黒い光を周囲に拡散させ撒き散らす。 その光は、ほぼ全ての物質を透過する性質を持つ。自然発生する事の無い光である。 物理的に破壊を齎す事は無いのだが、とある特徴を持っていた。 生物を透過する際、その遺伝子配列に影響を与えるのだ。 遺伝子を強制的に書き換える事により、ほぼ全ての生物を強制的に死滅させる。 邪悪極まりない、死の魔法。 ただし、その目的は別にあると伝承には伝わっている。 この魔法に耐えうるのは、精神生命体か、魂に記憶能力を有する者のみ。 肉体の完全破壊からの再生が可能な者のみなのだ。 Even the smallest amount of the light was difficult to be defended with magic and there was no way to defend against it physically.

「It looks like you have annihilated everything in this area.

「It can’t be helped. You obtained the information right?
Then, let’s think that there’s no problem」(Testa) 「この辺一体、全て皆殺しになったね。 その、戦車とか言う玩具の情報は、無傷の現物を持ち帰れるね！」 「ええ、その為に、人間だけを掃除したのだもの。 最初からこの魔法で殲滅すれば、生き残った者を相手するだけで済むのですけど」 「仕方ないよ！ リムル様は、ボク達には戦うなって言っていたし。 でも、ちゃんと出番があって良かったよ。 だけど、ボクも空に浮かんでた玩具を壊さない方が良かったかな？」 「そうねえ、ウルの魔法は派手過ぎたわね。 あれでは、サンプルの採取が難しいかも知れないわね」 「だよね……ボクも失敗したと思った。 あれ、脆すぎるんだよ。
So they discussed, Testarossa and Ultima ended the conversation.
Meanwhile, the work of collecting the dead’ souls was done thoroughly.
At the same they were killed by “Death Streak”, they accurately reaped the souls.
In fact, the possibility of they changed into monster was only when the soul was left behind.
When the reaping of the soul was done at the same time like this time, the survival rate completely becomes zero.

The battlefield had shifted into an war of annihilation. そう話し合い、その会話を終わらせるテスタロッサとウルティマ。 その間も、死者の魂を集める作業は丁寧に行っていた。 "死の祝福デスストリーク"により殺すと同時に、きちんと魂の刈り取りまで為されている。 実は、魔物に転じる可能性があるのは、魂を残していた場合のみ、であった。 今回のように、魂の刈り取りを同時に行った場合、生存率は完全にゼロとなるのだ。 当然ながら、ガスター中将や情報局の三名も、抵抗レジストに失敗し既に死んでいた。 嘗て自身を倒した者の最後を見ても、テスタロッサに感慨は無い。 もともとテスタロッサの眼中には無かったので、当然とも言えるのだが。 こうして、帝国軍の作戦司令部が完全に沈黙した事により、この戦場での魔物の国テンペストの勝利が確定した。 ただし、それは戦闘行為の終息を意味せず、作戦司令部が消失した事により帝国軍の降伏もまた無くなったのだ。 戦場は、殲滅戦へとその様相を転じる事になるのである。
