As soon as Jiang Fei agreed to Mirage’s term, she began to tease him with all sorts of rubbish quests . The first was to have him pick beautiful shells outside the city . Next, she had him catch sea monkeys in the city garden while she watched him .
“Go get him! It’s getting away! Hohohoho…” Mirage laughed at Jiang Fei’s silly demeanor as he tried to catch the agile sea monkeys .
‘Ooohh just you wait . When you reach Infatuated, I’ll be having my revenge!’ Jiang Fei thought to himself . Even though he was pretending to have fun while entertaining the female Commissioner, he was having the worst time of his life . It was both humiliating and degrading .
All the previous female NPC Reputation quests were mostly serious quests related to certain incidents . This was the first time he had to take on stupid, retarded, and meaningless quests . Having to catch sea monkeys was infuriating but still acceptable for him . This was the reason why Jiang Fei did not want to court girls . He would not be able to accept such a fate . However, this time, he had to do it as it was vital for him to get Mirage to reach Infatuated .

Simple quest comes with little reward . Worse of all, Mirage was treating Jiang Fei just like a slave, that is why there were no experience points or even gold coins for the reward!
“For your next order, I want you to dance for me,” said Mirage as she leaned against a bench under a tree in the park .

“What? You won’t do it? That’s alright with me . Seems that I could send you to the Queen!” said Mirage as she smiled eerily .
“Grr… Fine! I’ll dance! But this is only for you!” cried Jiang Fei as he bit down his pride and started to dance around like a fool . He was halfway through the Reputation level, a little bit more and he would reach the maximum Reputation Level! How could he give up now?
“Good moves! I like it! Hahaha!” Mirage laughed as she clapped her hands to match Jiang Fei’s rhythm .
To be honest, Jiang Fei did not know how to dance . All he did was move around randomly with his feet and hands . It was horrendous to look at but Mirage did not care about that . All she wanted was to torture him! That was why she was so happy!
“Ding! Dancing for Joy quest has been completed! You have earned 1,000 Reputation Points with Mirage!”
“Sigh… Watching you entertaining me sure is tiring! Come, I want you to give me a back massage!” said Mirage as gestured with her fingers to have Jiang Fei come closer .
“Ding! Mirage as a quest for you: Massaging the Beauty! Will you accept it?”
“Sure thing, my lady . Shall I go for the joints as well?” said Jiang Fei while enduring the rage in his heart . As Mirage’s Reputation Level was approaching Admire, the quests that she gave out had become more and more outrageous .

After an ordeal of torturing quests, Mirage finally reached the second last stage of Reputation Level . He had only needed 1,000 more Reputation Points to make her fall in love with him!
“Come closer to me . I want you to feed me,” said Mirage as she wrapped her arms around Jiang Fei .
“Ding! Mirage has a quest for you: Pampering the Lady! Will you accept it?”
“It will be my pleasure,” said Jiang Fei through his teeth . It was the last quest that she will ever give out! Not that she knows it anyway!
Jiang Fei took a piece of grape from the fruit basket next to Mirage and after peeling the skin off, he held the fruit closer to her succulent lips .
“Hmmm…” Mirage licked the grape out of Jiang Fei’s fingers and chewed on it ever so seductively .
“This is not enough . I want you to feed me, not with your fingers, but with your own lips . ”
“Excuse me?” Jiang Fei was thrown .
“Is that a no? I’m afraid you don’t have much of a choice here, my lovely little handsome,” said Mirage as she whispered into his ears that made his hair stand .
Without waiting for an answer, Mirage took an unpeeled grape and placed it on Jiang Fei’s lips .
“There, that’s wasn’t that hard,” said Mirage as she smiled .
“If only you had been obedient since the start, I wouldn’t have treated you harshly!” said Mirage as she traced her fingers down to his chin .
“You’re so cute,” said Mirage as she suddenly came in and kissed Jiang Fei on his lips .
“Urgh!”
Jiang Fei flinched hard .
‘Sh*t! How could the developers make this sort of behavior! This is considered as rape! If it was the other way around, the system would have flagged that sort of behavior and smite the player with a bolt of powerful sure-kill lightning!’ Jiang Fei thought to himself as he was kissed . Unfortunately for him, there was nothing he could do to stop her . She had placed a binding spell on him . There was no way he could evade her . Nothing .
‘Never would I have myself forcefully kissed by a lady! She must be a sadist!’ Jiang Fei thought . Thankfully, Mirage’s kiss was not too long . She had only planted her lips against his and slither her fork-like tongue into his mouth to wrestle the grape out of Jiang Fei’s lips .
“That was blissful . The grape was only made better with your lips . Though I must admit that you tasted even better,” said Mirage as she coiled her tail around Jiang Fei . Jiang Fei was super confused at the lady’s behavior . Was she courting him? Was she torturing him? Why is she doing this to him?
As she coiled around him, she released the binding spell that was keeping him motionless . Slowly, she got closer to Jiang Fei with a gaze that spells desire and lust . Just as she was coming in again to plan another kiss…
“Ding! Pampering the Lady quest has been completed! You have earned 1,000 Reputation Points with Mirage!”

A bright pinkish light flashed across Mirage’s character, indicating that she had reached Infatuated Level of Reputation .
At that moment, her tail that was coiling around Jiang Fei loosened up, allowing Jiang Fei free movement .
“Get away from me!” cried Jiang Fei as he was able to move and shove the woman away from him .
“My darling… Why…”
Mirage’s personality changed drastically as she reached Infatuated Level of Reputation . The kiss from before was merely a playful tease . However, this time, the look in her eyes was different . It was just like the one Ariel, Hua Mulan, Sylphy, and other female NPCs had, the look of love-struck .
Jiang Fei was relieved . At that moment, he was free from being tortured . It was worth it, he thought . Now, he had gotten Mirage to fall in love him with and would do anything for him .
When Mirage was being pushed away, she was greatly affected by it since she was in love with him . The look in her eyes was sorrow and regret now, a look that was completely out of character .
“Don’t come any closer to me!” Jiang Fei roared when Mirage was slowly walking towards him,
“Why! My darling… Is it something I did? Is it? Tell me! I will change! I promise I will change! Don’t hate me…” cried Mirage with tears falling from her cheeks . She was on her knees .
“You…” Jiang Fei gasped in horror at what he had done to her . Even though he was right to be angry, after everything that she had done, he still felt guilty when Mirage was crying her eyes out . He could not help but feel a little pity for the NPC when she was on the ground, begging for Jiang Fei’s forgiveness .
No matter what kind of person she was before, the current personality in her was nothing but a preset program that was forcefully activated . It was as if she had become an entirely different person, much like the current Isabella . The previous cool beauty older sister personality was gone .
“I’m… sorry . Please get up . ”
“Do you hate me still? Will you please forgive me…” said Mirage as she wiped her tears away .
“No… I don’t . Could you please take me to see your Queen?” said Jiang Fei . Even though he had discarded the idea to return the “favor” that she had done to him, he would not treat her like how he treated the other girls in his harem . He could never accept the polyandry system of marriage .
