Wen Shan was thinking of something as the two got into the taxi .

 “Papa Nalan, is the date on your mother’s tombstone wrong?” Wen Shan questioned when she realized the date did not match Nalan Chunbo’s age . Was he born four years after his mother passed away?

 Nalan Chunbo was speechless .

 “What?”

 “The date . I just saw that your mother’s date and time of death do not match your age . It matches If’s age though, isn’t it strange?” Wen Shan knew about If’s age because she paid extra attention when she suspected him last time . If was four years older than Nalan Chunbo .

 Nalan Chunbo remained quiet . “Shan Shan …”

 “Did I see it wrong?” Wen Shan knocked her head sheepishly . “I am not that good with data . ”

 Wen Shan curled her lips and did not ask much . She just leaned on his chest and fell asleep again .

 Nalan Chunbo looked down at the person who was sleeping and sighed again .

 What should he do now?

 Nalan Chunbo had returned to the United States without telling Nalan Jing, but he had booked a room in a hotel which was owned by Nalan Jing . Therefore, Nalan Jing was waiting at the hotel when Nalan Chunbo and Wen Shan arrived there .

 Wen Shan was holding Nalan Chunbo’s arm and saying something to him at that moment . Nalan Chunbo suddenly froze after getting out of the elevator . Wen Shan looked in the direction that Nalan Chunbo was staring at .

 A man standing not too far away was watching them . Wen Shan looked up at Nalan Chunbo in confusion . However, Nalan Chunbo looked at the approaching man calmly .

 Nalan Jing stopped in front of the two, staring at his son hopefully . “How about eating together?”

 Wen Shan continued to look at Nalan Chunbo .

 Wen Shan could not sense anything amiss since Nalan Chunbo was calm .

 “No, we will be going back tomorrow,” Nalan Chunbo said indifferently . He did not want to get too close to his father who suddenly appeared decades later .

 He knew that it was not his fault, but who knew if he was truly innocent?

 Nalan Jing paused . He did not want to force his son . “Alright,” Nalan Jing answered and looked at Wen Shan .

 Wen Shan nodded a little awkwardly, not knowing what to say .

 Nalan Chunbo did not seem to want to tell her who this person was .

 “Did you take her to see your mother?” Nalan Jing was quite satisfied with Wen Shan . After all, he had checked out the girl before and knew about her love for his son .

 The girl did not need to have a great reputation as theirs . He also did not have the right to make decisions for his son .

 The man’s tone was unusual .

 Wen Shan looked at Nalan Chunbo . Was this man his father?
