That was a nasty shock for An Xiaxia . “Me?”

Director Yue laughed heartily . “I have no problem with that!”
Jiye himself didn’t have many scenes, not to mention the little maid .
Sheng Yize then went to change back into his own clothes . An Xiaxia followed him, stomping her foot in vexation . “I don’t want to play the maid!”
“What do you want to play, then? There’s no female protagonist in the show,” said Sheng Yize casually .
“Why did you get me to do it in the first place?!”
Sheng Yize rubbed his chin . “Because it’ll give me a perfect excuse to order you around . ”
“Shame on you!”
Sheng Yize smiled . “Are you sure you’re staying here?”
“Yes!” An Xiaxia snapped .
“Suit yourself,” Sheng Yize said unhurriedly, then slowly began to take off his clothes .
An Xiaxia: …!!!
“What do you think you’re doing?! We’re at a film studio!” An Xiaxia bit her lip . “Behave yourself, you bastard!”
Sheng Yize grinned . “I’m only changing my clothes . ”
An Xiaxia was speechless .
She blushed and went out, closing the door for Sheng Yize behind her .
As the scriptwriter, Yin Qinghan had been coming to the studio every day recently . He strolled over to her and said teasingly, “I heard that Sheng Yize agreed to take the part . ”
An Xiaxia nodded . “Yes . ”
Yin Qinghan’s grin grew wider . Taking advantage of his height, he rubbed An Xiaxia’s head sympathetically . “You have my condolences . ”
“It’s a good thing! Why the condolences?” An Xiaxia was baffled .
Struggling to keep a straight face, Yin Qinghan whispered something in her ear . Sheng Yize came out at that moment during this intimate conversation and his face darkened . He immediately pulled his little woman back into his arms .
Yin Qinghan shrugged, said “good luck,” then sauntered off .
An Xiaxia blushed and then looked at Sheng Yize like she was going to cry .
“Why the face? What did he say to you?” Sheng Yize was bewildered .
An Xiaxia stammered, “Sheng Yize, you haven’t read the script, have you?”
“Huh?” Sheng Yize frowned . He hadn’t indeed . The lines he spoke just then was what he remembered from the book he read last night .
“Ahem…” An Xiaxia was almost mortified . “Well, you do know that Jiye likes Lu Shang, right?”
“To the point,” Sheng Yize said succinctly .
An Xiaxia said hesitantly, “I forgot to tell you something . ”
“?”
“There’s a love scene between the two…” It was two pages long in the book…
Sheng Yize’s face turned livid . “I’ll go talk to the director . ”
“Huh? For what?”
“I quit!” Sheng Yize said between gritted teeth . An Xiaxia held his arm in a hurry to stop him . “I’ll change it! I will! I’ll ask Yin Qinghan to make it a scene between the two male protagonists…”
“Do you think the watchdog will let you air that?” Sheng Yize smirked .
An Xiaxia coughed . “It’s really subtle . Plus, nothing actually happened . One got drunk and the other was drugged with some aphrodisiac . They just flirted a little in the study…”
She couldn’t go on .
Why did she have to write such things back then? Karma really was such a bitch…
Sheng Yize snorted, grabbed her by the hand, stuffed her in the car, and locked the doors . He then floored the gas pedal and headed home at lightning speed .
“What are you doing?” An Xiaxia asked gingerly as she grabbed her seatbelt .
“Home, the study . ”

“I’m getting us a new love spot . ” Sheng Yize ground his teeth . “While we’re at it, let’s talk about the inspiration for the love scenes in your books!”
