Chapter 5 : Wang Family’s Number One Expert

Wang Chong was sitting on a rugged rockery in the garden engrossed in thought.

He pondered for a long time.

Father and Yao Guangyi’s meeting place was called Grand Crane Restaurant.

Yao Guangyi, this shrewd fox had already forbidden customers from entering Grand Crane Restaurant.

At this time, other than Yao Guangyi and King of Qi’s men, no one else could enter. However, from the outside, Grand Crane Restaurant appeared to be fully booked and packed with people; no different from usual.

Father was tricked by this false appearance in the past thus fell for Yao Guangyi’s trap.

Wang Chong was well aware that if he couldn’t sneak in, then it would be impossible to stop this disaster from happening. Yao Guangyi had arranged for experts to guard Grand Crane Restaurant. Brute force was definitely a no no, so Wang Chong could only outsmart them.

“Eureka!”

Suddenly, Wang Chong’s eyes brightened, and he remembered a person. How could he have forgotten that guy. With that guy, he would certainly be able to slip inside Grand Crane Restaurant. However, this alone won’t be enough.

“No. Grand Crane Restaurant is swarming with experts. I, alone, won’t be enough. I need to bring a powerful expert!”

After considering this, Wang Chong frowned.

He understood the extent of his ability. If it was in his previous life, it wouldn’t be so troublesome. It wouldn’t matter how many experts that Yao Guangyi had. With his superhuman level of cultivation, he could even hang and beat Yao Guangyi silly without the slightest problem.

Yet this time, he was just a fifteen-year-old kid. With his current puny strength, how could he face against experts from the Yao Family who refined their bodies to the utmost, comparable to tigers and wolves?

Yao Guangyi could send his men to throw him out effortlessly. It would be futile to enter by force. Thinking of this, Wang Chong’s frown deepened. The little bit of joy that sprouted completely extinguished.

Finding such an expert would be tough!

As Wang Chong was having a hard time, he heard tapping footsteps. He subconsciously raised his head. Not far away, several guards were escorting Little Sis who was bouncing around and playing in the yard.

This was a general scene, but something felt different in Wang Chong’s eyes at this moment for some reason.

“Ahh, I’m an idiot!”

Wang Chong patted his head and started to laugh at himself for being so silly. Wasn’t this looking for a lantern while holding a lantern? Since Big Brother and Second Brother weren’t available, who could be more suitable in the entire Wang family than Little Sis when looking for a helper?

Was he blind? He actually didn’t notice an expert who was so close to him!

Thinking of this, Wang Chong grinned.

In the Wang family, his sister, Wang Xiaoyao, was a “legend”.

It’s true that she was only ten years old, but she was naturally gifted with incredible strength. It was said that when she was three, she was able to lift a giant cauldron.

Wang Chong didn’t witness this scene, but since even Mother confirmed it, it surely couldn’t be false.

Wang Chong would bet that not many in the capital, including Big Brother and Second Brother, could surpass her outrageous natural talent.

Regarding her potential in the future, it was even more exceptional!

It was plainly obvious to Wang Chong because he witnessed this himself in the past life. He was well aware of how frightening Little Sis’ potential is.

The reason that she had such a monstrous strength was actually very simple. It was because Little Sis was born with all her meridians open.

“Delicate ball of qi, like a baby”, were words in Tao Te Ching. It was common sense that when you were in your mother’s womb, all of your meridians were open.[1]

However, after being born and breathing in the polluted air on Earth, the natural acquired potential of the body deteriorated. The body’s channels were blocked and fell from grace.

All of this occurred the moment that the first cry sounded.

On the other hand, his sister was different; her natural physique was special. Even after her birth, her meridians were unblocked. It was rare to find this even in one out of a million people.

For this reason, no matter what martial arts she practices, she would advance much faster with half the effort that others put in.

Her herculean strength was a visible sign of this talent.

Unfortunately, Little Sis was too young. She was naturally lazy and lacked concentration. When practicing martial art, she was basically half-assing. However, even so, Little Sis’ strength was quite amazing. She could effortlessly face against talented teenagers who were older than her by ten or more years.

In the Wang family, Little Sis was undoubtedly the number one expert. Ignoring Little Sis, this Wang Family’s “number one expert”, was just seeking something far away and neglecting what lied close at hand.

More importantly, while she was vengeful and hated being lied to, she still trusted this brother of hers. If he asked her for help, she would absolutely agree.

After contemplating, Wang Chong jumped down from the rockery.

“Hey Little Sis, come here!”

Wang Chong waved at her from a distance while deviously snickering.

“Bro will take you to somewhere fun!”

……

“Bro, where are you taking me?”

In the horse-drawn carriage, Little Sis stuck her head out of the windows. Her round eyes examined the marketplace with great curiosity. It was obvious that her anger had vanished, and she was just curious now.

She was, after all, a ten-year-old girl who was usually strictly forbidden from leaving the house. Now, she snuck out with Bro to “fool around” without Mother knowing; it felt very exciting to her.

“Heh, don’t rush. You’ll know soon.”

Wang Chong cheerfully continued.

“Remember our agreement. Without my permission, you mustn’t start a fight. Otherwise, I won’t bring you out next time.”

“Aye.”

Little Sis cutely nodded in agreement without even thinking for a second. She had absolute trust in her brother. But soon, she remembered something and immediately raised her fist at once and threatened.

“Bro, don’t lie to me. Otherwise, you’re dead meat! Hmph! ”

“Nope. I don’t dare to lie to you!”

Wang Chong broke out in cold sweat when he recalled Little Sis’ terrifying strength. Just a little pinch would make him scream in pain. If she really went mad, he would surely lose half his life.

“Yo! If it isn’t Young Master Chong?”

When he was going to reply, an abrupt voice yelled out.

“He’s here!”

Wang Chong stopped the carriage revealing a slight smile. This was the restaurant that he often visited. Since he appeared here, Ma Zhou and the others should be surfacing soon as well.

Wang Chong stepped out of the carriage with Little Sis. In a distance, he could see a teenager, who was carrying a bird cage and holding a fancy fan with a thug-like aura, standing in front of him.

A bunch of people, who seemed to be expecting him, had been waiting here early on.

“Yo! Yo! Yo! Young Master Chong, you’re finally here! ”

The group was led by a teenager who had a square face with huge ears and a mole above his right eyebrow which was offensively conspicuous. Once he saw Wang Chong, he immediately stepped forward greeting him with an enthusiastic expression on his face.

This person was Ma Zhou!

” Young Master Chong, I heard you were punished and confined at home. We brothers were planning to visit you. However, the Wang family’s door wouldn’t open to let people in. We went several times and failed to get in, so we could only give up on visiting you. Young Master Chong, are you okay?”

Ma Zhou held Wang Chong’s hands right away to show his consideration. Onlookers would think these two were best friends, yet Ma Zhou revealed a sneer that exposed his feeling of disdain and mockery even if he tried to conceal it.

“Hmph. I didn’t notice before, but this dickhead can really act.”

Wang Chong secretly sneered.

“Perception changes with the mindset.” Before, Wang Chong perceived Ma Zhou’s laughter as “sincere”, and now that he looked at him again, he appeared as being very cocky.

Deep down, this guy must have thought of Wang Chong as a fool. Wang Chong found it funny and ridiculous that he was so naïve before. He thought that if he treated others with sincerity, others also would be sincere to him. Nonetheless, he was deceived by these bitches.

What Ma Zhou blabbered was the worst lie ever. Wang Chong asked the guards and not even a mosquito came near in recent weeks, let alone Ma Zhou and the others.

“You are waiting here for me?”

Wang Chong indifferently questioned.

Ma Zhou was surprised for a moment. Young Master Chong seemed a bit different today. Usually, he was very passionate towards him. Today, he seemed very cold?

It could be his imagination, so Ma Zhou disregarded this.

“Young Master Chong, we heard you were released from your confinement, so we waited here to welcome you back. Isn’t that right, brothers?”

Ma Zhou said as he signaled the people behind him. Everyone agreed, joked around, and laughed as if watching a monkey.

“Well, Young Master Chong, let’s get out of here?”

Ma Zhou turned around and asked with disdain and contempt in his eyes beaming out even more.

It was so easy to deceive this kid. You could trick him with just a few words. This kid fantasized that he was some chivalrous hero, yet everyone viewed him as a stupid rich boy. If you wanted money, he would give it. If there was trouble, he would take the blame.

Where else could you find such a fool?

As for welcoming Wang Chong back, it wasn’t a lie, but Ma Zhou didn’t think that he would be the one paying. Being together with Wang Chong, Ma Zhou never had to spend a single penny.

To be honest, with Wang Chong being confined for so many days, the brothers were feeling a little uncomfortable and starting to miss him.

Without this young master, who will pay for them and clean up their shit?

Ma Zhou remembered this and became haughty.

Pow!

While he was still elated, a slap unexpectedly came flying towards him. Ma Zhou almost stumbled over. With a burning sensation, half of his face was all swollen with five fingers visibly printed!

In an instant, everything became still and silent.

Everyone was stunned by this slap!

What’s going on? Ma Zhou received a slap in the face! How is it possible?

“You hit me?”

While holding his burning cheeks, Ma Zhou stared at Wang Chong. His head was dizzy and even after a while, he still didn’t come to his senses.

Even he became speechless. Wang Chong actually slap him in the face. How could this have happened?!

If Ma Zhou was already in such disbelief, the others were worse off. All of the delinquents stared at each other dumbfounded with their mouths opened wide enough to fit an egg.

Wang Chong actually gave Ma Zhou a slap to the face? HOW WAS THAT POSSIBLE!

In this world, it was possible for whoever to smack Ma Zhou except Wang Chong because Ma Zhou had the closest relationship with Wang Chong.

If it was not so, Ma Zhou wouldn’t dare to play him like this.

But right now, Wang Chong seriously just slapped Ma Zhou slap! Everyone was shocked by that fact. No one knew what happened.

“Yes, I hit you.”

Wang Chong stared at Ma Zhou with lighthearted smile. The only one at this place who was still normal was him.

“Ma Zhou, I considered you as my friend, but you took me for a fool. Don’t tell me you think that I know nothing?

Wow!

The crowd was in an uproar, shocked, and their jaws dropped even more. Was this still the Wang Chong who everyone recognized as simple-minded and easily fooled?

Or the Wang Chong who regarded everyone as his friend and were manipulated and treated like an idiot?

These words were unlike what he would say. Wasn’t this transformation a bit too drastic?

Everyone was bewildered by Wang Chong’s transformation along with a sense of guilt that arise when a devious plan was exposed. Could it be that Wang Chong was a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing?

“What?! Ma Zhou? He’s Ma Zhou?!”

Just when everyone was in a panic, a weird shriek rang out. Little Sis’ eyebrows twisted and her almond-like eyes dilated. Her flame of anger was seeping out.

In the beginning, she didn’t realize, but once she heard that this guy was the “culprit” who framed Bro, Little Sis was unable to restrain herself.

“You bastard! You dared to frame Bro! I will kill you!”
