Any man who went straight into the Women City without passing through the Illusion Circle would be punished by the emperor .

There were a few male warriors who tried to fight their way into the city and were all sent leaving with serious injuries caused by the emperor’s holy light .

As soon as Liu Qingcheng had learned that Cai Ling was letting an outsider participate in the match, she quickly rushed back .

“City lord, please,” Liu Qingcheng begged . “This match is way too important for us . If we lose, we’ll have to hand the city to Hua Musang!”

“Elder Liu is right…” The girl in green dress agreed . “This match is very important . Even if this man has passed the Illusion Circle, he’s still too weak . There’s no way he could defeat Hua Cuican . ”

“I second that opinion,” the other girl, Mu’er, also said .

“Liu Qingcheng, Qing Qing, Mu’er, I get it, I know what all of you are worried about,” Cai Ling said . “But the man before you isn’t as simple as he looks . He was able to slay Xiaoyao Meiqi alone . I don’t think I need to tell you who Xiaoyao Meiqi is, do I?”

Cai Ling told Ye Mo both of his opponents’ identities intentionally . One was apprenticing under Cai Ling while the other was Elder Liu’s Granddaughter . It was clear that Qing Qing was stronger than Mu’er . But the reason for Cai Ling doing so was to let Ye Mo challenge the stronger one to shut their mouths up .

“Of course, it’s your choice,” Liu Qingcheng said as she looked at Ye Mo, waiting for his answers .

Qing Qing and Mu’er frowned as they looked at Ye Mo; it was as if they were waiting for the emperor’s arrival .

“Then I’ll choose Qing Qing,” Ye Mo said as soon as Liu Qingcheng finished her sentence .

Liu Qingcheng was shocked by Ye Mo’s choice . Cai Ling’s hint was clear as day . She’d never expected Ye Mo to choose the stronger person .

Qing Qing’s eyes widened as she stared at Ye Mo as if she was warning him that he’ll meet his maker if he chose her .

“Fine . How about I take on both of them?” Ye M suggested .

Liu Qingcheng, Qing Qing, and Mu’er’s eyes became even wider as they stared at Ye Mo with their mouths opened .

Ye Mo shrugged . He knew very well that Liu Qingcheng would still give him the tears as long as he defeated either one of the girls .

But he also knew that if he could defeat both of them . Liu Qingcheng would definitely be impressed . Not only would she hand over the tears without any protest, but she would also feel better about the match that was about to happen in three days .

“Very well!” Liu Qingcheng said . “I will acknowledge that you might be able to defeat Hua Cuican if you could defeat both of them . ”

“How dare you look down on us!” Mu’er scolded . “We’re both Energy Shaping First Realm warriors, you know . Even Hua Cuican might not be able to stand against both of us . ”

“Don’t speak so fast, Mu’er,” Cai Ling said . “Even if both of you work together, you still might not be able to defeat Ye Mo . ”

“It’s truly surprising that you can defeat Xiaoyao Meiqi at your level, but you’re going out of your league to challenge the both of us!” Mu’er said .

She was still skeptical about Ye Mo’s strength since she was still confident in her own power .

“Then shall we begin?” Ye Mo asked .

Before Liu Qingcheng could even start the match, Mu’er took out her whip that was made from the muscles of a water dragon, a weapon of the Higher-grade Magic Level . The aura of the water dragon could still be felt from the whip, making it much more fearsome .

Ye Mo tuned a full 360 and caught the whip . He pulled with all 12 Dragon Energies in his hand and took the whip away from Mu’er’s hand .

Liu Qingcheng and Qing Qing were both already staring at Ye Mo in awe .

“Don’t hold back! You two should attack together,” Ye Mo said and threw the whip back to Mu’er .
