Dongfang Liuyun did not answer Qi Lei’s question.
She only responded with a profound gaze, Qi Lei did not understand what it meant.
When they left the hot spring club, it was already late at night. The couple rushed back. When they reached home, it was almost midnight. The couple washed up briefly and then went to bed to rest.

He wanted to wake her up and go out to find something to eat. There was nothing good at home. The fridge was filled with fruits and there was nothing ready-made. They had not come home to eat for the past few days, so there was no leftovers.
Qi Lei stopped what he was doing and looked at her for a while. Then, he got out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. He planned to make do with some noodles.
However, when the door closed, Dongfang Liuyun woke up in a daze. Just now, she could vaguely feel someone shaking her, but she was too tired and could not wake up. Now, she could slowly will herself to wake up.
Qi Lei carried a large bowl of noodles. As he walked out of the kitchen and ate a few, he was surprised to find Dongfang Liuyun sitting on the sofa in the living room!
“It’s rare for you to wake up in the middle of the night to cook. The food tonight was indeed not good.”
Dongfang Liuyun lowered her head and drank a mouthful of warm water. She put the cup down and looked at Qi Lei’s bowl. She paused for a moment and asked, “Is there more in the pot?”
Qi Lei glanced at her before passing the bowl in his hand to her.
Dongfang took it without hesitation.
Qi Lei returned to the kitchen. Not long after, he brought out another big bowl of noodles.
The couple sat next to each other, eating while watching the NBA.
“When I was young, I actually admired those boys who were good at basketball, but those boys used their abilities to make those school belles their girlfriends.”
Dongfang Liuyun sighed, “Now that I think about it, so many years have passed.”
“Were you the school belle or the belle of your class then?”
Qi Lei asked as he picked up a fried egg from his bowl and gave it to Dongfang Liuyun.
Dongfang Liuyun accepted it without hesitation, and then gave him the ham sausage that she did not like, and took a few strands of noodles from his bowl, “I was neither. With my looks, I can’t be considered the school belle or anything.”
“Those people don’t know how to appreciate things, how did they even appreciate the women?”
Qi Lei did not think much of it.
“I should be asking you boys. Our school is famous for its beautiful girls, in fact they were both talented and beautiful. I probably lost because of my temperament. Although I have a lot of friends at school, they’re usually not very close to me. Most of them are the ones who take the initiative to approach me, I don’t like to join in the fun, so maybe they find that I’m a little cold and unreasonable,” said Dongfang Liuyun nonchalantly.

A nauseating feeling welled up in her heart. Ji Zitong pulled the blanket back and quickly got out of bed. She rushed into the bathroom and retched again!
