The T-1000 was unable to dodge Sheyan's kick because he had launched his feet really quickly, but as a result, the damage done was very low .



Fortunately, the fundamental purpose of this kick was not to deal damage, but to make the T-1000 lose its balance . This was the plan Sheyan came up with after the painful lesson he learned from his previous encounter with the T-1000 . He would not get entangled with the Terminator in close quarters . This was the tactic Sheyan came up with to deal with the T-1000 . Not only was the Terminator hard to kill, it would also annoyingly stick to its opponent like glue when it attacked . Its only weakness was that it needed time to transform its body, albeit not much . That was the chance Sheyan seeked . He would make use of his instantaneous explosive power to target the Terminator when it was shapeshifting, keeping his assault short and powerful, so as not to give the T-1000 the opportunity to stick close to him .

The advantage of this tactic was that it would not make the T-1000 desperate enough to self destruct, because such a tactic would not cause its CPU chip to judge Sheyan as an opponent it could not beat . It would only make that judgement if, say, an Apache helicopter with terrifying firepower was pursuing it in the sky out of its reach on a plain with no cover, or something similar to that .



Of course, there were also many disadvantages to this kind of tactic, the most obvious one being the time it would take to finish the fight, which would be prolonged . However, Sheyan had come prepared for a long battle .

After flinging the T-1000 down, Sheyan did not chase after it, but continued to run forward with large strides instead . His current task is not to fight with the T-1000, but to destroy the power compressor that could recharge the T-1000 .

The T-1000 had performed another massacre inside the wave power station . Deformed corpses with helpless expressions on their faces were everywhere . The smell of blood was strong in the air . The T-1000 had unknowingly turned into a pool of liquid, flowing on the ground to a spot a few meters behind Sheyan before it re-solidified . Its hands had taken the form mantis-like sharp blades that shined with a cold glint . They seemed like they were made for beheading .

However, when the left-handed weapon was formed, flashes of electricity burst out from its left shoulder again . That had alerted Sheyan even before Dolittle had shouted his warning . He instantly retreated backwards and crashed into the T-1000's body .

The sharp edges on the blades formed from the T-1000's arms faced outwards, hence they were easy to swipe outwards but not suitable for cutting inside . The Terminator once again fell into the embarrassing predicament of being unable to display its might .

Sheyan's suddenly bent his hands and rammed his elbows backwards into the T-1000's chest, forcing it to stagger back .

After that, Sheyan turned around and shifted his body to a sprinter's starting position . An explosive force rose in his body . He launched himself forward at a high speed, then turned his body slightly to the side so that his right shoulder could slam heavily onto the chest of the T-1000 . The fierce impact knocked the T-1000 back and it fell downstairs once more .

However, the moment Sheyan collided into the Terminator, it had also performed a counterattack, cutting a long wound on Sheyan's back . Blood was now flowing freely down the wound . Sheyan turned around and ran as if nothing had happened . He continued looking for the power compressor installed by the T-1000 .

After repelling the T-1000's assault for the 7th time, Sheyan finally found the power compressor on a giant electric cable . Sheyan did not even need Dr . Dolittle to tell him that the instrument was made by the Terminator, because the futuristic style of the instrument was way too conspicuous . More importantly, it appeared that Skynet took the issue of copyright very seriously, as there was actually a Skynet logo on the instrument .

The instrument could not be destroyed so easily because there was hundreds of millions of volts of electricity stored in it . If all the power inside burst out at once, Sheyan would probably die on the spot .

Dolittle had also expressed his desire to get his hands on this instrument to study it . After all, this object was the perfect combination of Skynet's most advanced technological ideas and the backward components available in the current world . It had great reference value .

So in order to win enough time to disassembly the power compressor, Sheyan could only release the dark gold leech and let it stall the T-1000 . In a sense, this was the ultimate showdown between two different species that liked to stick to their opponents like glue .

Sheyan dismantled the power compressor as quickly as he could under Dolittle's guidance . During this time, the T-1000 was frantically attacking the dark gold leech . However, it finally got the taste of an opponent that simply refused to die no matter how hard it attacked!

It was not until Sheyan had successfully dismantled the power compressor and put it into the party storage that the T-1000 managed to reach Sheyan . It fell behind Sheyan and swiped its palm towards his neck! Sheyan abruptly leaned forward and shrank his shoulders, but the T-1000's fingers had turned into five sharp blades and sliced open five bloody wounds on his back .

Now that Sheyan had successfully foiled the T-1000's plan to repair its body, he simply ran away . The T-1000 went straight after him . It was filled with a hatred for human beings to begin with, and Sheyan's action made it even more sure of his feeling . Sheyan fought while retreating until he reached the reinforcement from the rear .

Melody had learned her lesson from the previous fight against the T-1000 . Now, she would perform a 'Rejuvenation' or 'Barkskin' spell from afar, then immediately disappear from the T-1000's sight . This undoubtedly made the T-1000 fume with anger . It wanted to attack Melody with 'Gravitational Construct' like before but it could not lock on to the target!

Melody appeared from a corner again and gave the T-1000 a shot with the phoenix bow . The right leg of the T-1000 immediately burned with a fierce fire that was as bright as agate . It constantly sent out fiery tongues of flame that slithered to the surrounding areas like crimson snakes .

The eyes of the T-1000 that had suffered repeated beatings suddenly shined with a blinding red light; it was thoroughly enraged now . It pushed its palm towards Sheyan . Sheyan instantly felt the air around him becoming dense and thick, so that even breathing had become really difficult . Apparently, the T-1000 had applied 'Gravitational Construct' to him instead!

The next second, the blinding light of electricity flashed around the T-1000's body . A crystal-like transparent shield formed around the Terminator, and its movement speed increased sharply! The flame at the spot hit by the phoenix bow was completely put out too . This was obviously the T-1000's berserk skill: 'Overload', which greatly enhanced its attack and defence in an instant! It dashed towards Melody at an alarming speed!

The T-1000 had clearly realised by now that Sheyan could not be easily killed, so it used 'Gravitational Construct' on him in order to slow him down to prevent him from coming to Melody's rescue! It would first eliminate Melody with the help of the 'Overload' ability, then go back to Sheyan to kill him slowly .
