Part 11

A bar in the royal capital.

Greg broke open the door of a store, which had no customers due to the riots, and went inside.

He was dressed as an infantryman and carried a rifle.

Leading a group of armed soldiers, they entered the scene and examined it.

"It's this way!"

Greg entered with his rifle and found a staircase that led to the second floor.

The second floor of the bar was an inn.

When Greg found the stairs, he ran up them.

However, a soldier stopped him from behind.

-It is dangerous!

-Nothing happens.

With that, Greg climbed the stairs and leaned against the wall as he stared at the door of a bedroom.

Then, shots were heard from inside the room and several holes were seen in the door.

Greg used the sound of gunfire to determine what kind of weapon he was carrying.

It's a gun. Only one wears it?

When the person finished shooting, Greg slammed down the door to enter right at the moment in which the person was recharging, what was there inside was a family that seemed to be ex-nobles.

-Still!

A bearded man, his wife and his family.

The family lowered their weapons and raised their hands as the soldiers approached from behind Greg.

The bearded man began to cry and lament.

-Dammit. Dammit! How could I let this happen? In that time, if not I would have fled, me too ...

The man started making excuses, but Greg didn't have time to listen to him.

"It's too late to cry now.You should have used that energy a long time ago”

In front of him was a family that had been stripped of its nobility after fleeing from the enemy during the war with the former Principality of Fanoss.

This family, while running a bar and an inn, invited mercenaries and criminals to the royal capital so they could help with the riots.

Greg left the family detention to the soldiers.

"Heavens, these guys are always like this."

Greg left the store with his rifle and met Chris with his armed unit in front of the Pub.

"Chris, are you finished?"

When he called him, Chris, inside his armed unit, was fed up.

[We're done here, but Brad again gave us the order to head to the next place early. That guy is also tough at making others work.]

Until now, Chris had been dealing with mercenaries and criminals that the bar had been hiding.

They were provided with weapons, and among them were armed units.

The armored group, led by Chris, were suppressing the enemies who were looting the area.

—You also have it difficult.

[You'll go to the next one when you're done here, right?]

-Yes that's how it is. After delivering the criminals, we will go to the next hideout.

Then some armed units gathered around Chris.

An armed unit flying in the sky informed Chris that they had finished clearing the zone.

[Lord Arkwright, we are done with surrendering the mercenaries.]

Chris's armed unit floated up, and he said goodbye to Greg.

[Okay, then let's head to the next place.]

Greg saw the group of flying armed units and carried his rifle to his shoulder.

"I too must go to the next one."
