In the following few days, regardless of whether he was walking or eating, Tan Tan endlessly kept on speaking in amazement in order to retain that same ‘shocked’ facial expression on his face .

Just as they went around the mountain wall, they saw a young miss fiercely fight a strange three headed giant snake . The young lady held a long gleaming sword in her right hand, while in the left she had a short translucent saber . The young lady was fighting fearless and crashed head-on into the three headed giant snake .

By the time Meng Chao Ran and Tan Tan arrived, the fight was already nearing its end .

“Three headed Blackboned snake!” Meng Chao Ran recognized the snake in just one glimpse . It was one of the spirit beast species found in the Cang Lan Battlefront’s vicinity . Although this snake was just a third grade spirit beast, the essence cores found inside its three heads were considered a rare medicine .

The young maiden appeared to be very experienced, judging by her fearless fight with the three headed blackboned snake; the snake beast was fading into weakness, with cuts and bruises all over its body .

The young maiden was startled upon hearing him, and was thrown into disarray as a result, which slowed her down a bit since she was unable to pull out her short blade in time, and ended up getting entangled by the snake’s body .

“Where did this bastard come from? And why is he shouting?” The young miss shouted grievingly as she used her one ‘available’ hand to shield herself from the last head of the snake .

The three headed blackboned snake had received two fatal hits in no time and could lose its life any time now . However, the snake got even more furious, and desperately came hissing towards the young maiden in order to bite her, as its mouth gave away an awfully fishy smell .

Right at that moment, Tan Tan arrived!

‘Blade slash’!

‘Shua’! With a neat and clean slash of his blade, he beheaded one head of the snake, felling it to the ground!

“Go for this head, not that one!” The young maiden practically spat out blood, thinking: Is this guy a fool? Can’t he see that this head is the most dangerous one right now?

“Oh! I see . ” Tan Tan replied as he roared loudly, slashing with his blade .

The blade’s light was as smooth as white silk .

Yet another dead snake head was chopped down and fell into the dust .

“What the f*ck!” the young maiden went mad, unexpectedly calling him names while strings of saliva spat out of her clenched teeth as she cursed, “Ah! You pig!”

“Well, there should be a sequence for stuff like this!” Tan Tan retorted angrily, “What did you just call me?!”

Tan Tan thought: This woman cannot differentiate between good and bad… this handsome brother has come here to save you, and you in return abuse him, calling him a pig? He nearly thought of giving up on rescuing her…

Tan Tan was seeing a three headed blackboned snake for the first time; so how he would he know which of the heads were already dead? He just saw that the young maiden was using one of her hands to block a snake head, while the remaining two heads appeared to be endangering her . Hence, he had decided to get rid of them first . . .

The young miss did all she could to support the remaining head of the snake and heaved a sigh of relief . If he has chopped down two heads, then he will chop down the last one too, right?

However, she did not see or hear any movements after waiting for quite some time . Sensing that she couldn’t hold-on any longer, she angrily turned her head, only to see the boy happily standing and watching from the side . Seeing the girl turn towards him, he cheered loudly, “Come on girl! You can do it!”

Nothing in this world could be more annoying than this!

“Ugh…” The young maiden, of course, couldn’t hold on any longer, and felt so angry that she fell unconscious .

Also, it was hard to say whom he was referring to as fat; the snake or the girl .

The young maiden slowly regained her senses as the cool breeze blew against her face, "I didn’t die?"

"You most certainly didn't! I saved you . " A strange voice stated .

The young maiden asked as she ferociously got up, "Where is that scoundrel I saw earlier?"

Tan Tan asked in an ‘astonished’ manner, "What scoundrel?"

"The bastard who killed this snake!" The young maiden stamped her feet in anger as she looked around for him .

"There’s no bastard here!" Tan Tan replied in a ‘shocked’ tone .

"Did he leave?" The young maiden asked .

"No!" The ‘shocked’ Tan Tan answered .

"Then where is he?" The young miss asked, but had started feeling amiss . Why are you giving me such a ‘shocked’ look over a normal conversation?

"He is here!" Tan Tan still had the ‘shocked’ expression on his face as he said: "It was me!"

"Huh…" a strange voice came out of her throat as she stared at his face .

"What are you looking at?" Tan Tan asked with a stagnant ‘shocked’ expression on his face .

"It's clearly not you…" The young maiden frowned .

"It is me!" Tan Tan with his ‘shocked’ expression, said again, "Young lady, I saved you . . . It really was me!"

The young girl almost collapsed as she barely managed to ask, "If you saved me… then why are you in shock?"

Tan Tan said in his usual ‘shocked’ tone, "Young lady, don’t you think that I look incredibly handsome right now?"

"What about the snake? Where is it?" The girl felt defeated, and changed the topic . She had already forgotten her rage owing to his mystical expression .

"Over there!" Tan Tan said, "Only a moment ago, I helped you in venting your anger…"

"Ah, ah, ah…" The young woman finally saw the badly mutilated snake heads, lying on the ground, having practically turned into minced meat . "You . . . you . . . "

"That's right . . . it’s me you should thank!" Tan Tan mixed his ‘shocked’ expression with a complacent look . "This stinky snake dared to harm you . . . so I smashed it! I smashed all three of its heads…"

"Oh god… heavens…" The girl stomped her feet in grief and anger, "kill me… just kill me… what kind of a monster have I encountered today… "
