Although the jade token’s speed was not slow, its speed was nothing compared to Duan Ling Tian’s speed. It did not take long for him to catch up to it.
“What’s this?” Tang Xiao Xiao asked in confusion.
“I’m not sure as well. Before this, I sensed a movement in my Spatial Ring. When I took the jade token out to examine it, it was vibrating in my hands as though it was trying to escape. As Duan Ling Tian kept his eyes on the dark green jade token, he saw the light brightened again. Strangely, he could sense a hint of excitement from the jade token even though it was an object.
“I see.” Realization dawned on Tang Xiao Xiao. “It seems like it’s leading you somewhere.”
“Yeah.” Duan Ling Tian nodded. However, he was still confused. Why did the jade token suddenly move? Where was it leading him?

Duan Ling Tian lifted his hand, and a sword materialized in his hand. The sword was unlike any other sword. Most swords were about three-foot-long, but this sword was only a foot long. It looked like a longer dagger. It seemed as though it was made from the same material as the jade token.
When Tang Xiao Xiao looked at the sword, she could tell it was not made from ordinary jade. “This sword…” She recalled it was given to Duan Ling Tian by that incredibly strong powerhouse, Xia Jie.
Previously, Xia Jie had given Duan Ling Tian two items; the jade token and the sword.
Currently, the jade token was leading Duan Ling Tian somewhere while he held the sword in his hand. He looked at the dagger-like sword in his hand and thought to himself, ‘Third uncle is a powerful celestial from the Diving Offering Land. It stands to reason the items he has given me aren’t ordinary items.’ When Xia Jie had given him these items, he had put them away without thinking it about too much since he had to rush back to the Saint Province Realm. He had been so busy that he had completely forgotten about it until the jade token began to move in his Spatial Ring.
Duan Ling Tian had no idea what was so special about the sword. It did not seem like a Celestial Supreme Treasure nor did it look like a weapon from the mundane realms.

When Duan Ling Tian sent some of his energy into the sword to test the water, the sword began to vibrate violently. After a while, it seemed as though it was going to shatter. He was shocked when he saw this.

A moment later, a clear noise rang in the air as the sword Duan Ling Tian held in his hand shattered.
“It… broke?” Duan Ling Tian was thoroughly shocked. “Is this sword really from one of the most powerful celestials from the Divine Offering Land?”
At this moment, Duan Ling Tian could not help but doubt Xia Jie. However, a familiar voice suddenly rang in his ears. “Brat, the sword I’ve given you is called the Seven Orifices Exquisite Sword. It’s a Devata Artifact!”
Duan Ling Tian could tell it was Xia Jie’s voice. Xia Jie must have placed a spell on the sword. “The Seven Orifices Exquisite Sword? A Devata Artifact?” A forced smile appeared on his face. The sword that had broken so easily was a Devata Artifact?
However, it did not take long before Duan Ling Tian widened his eyes in shock again. After the sword had shattered, a red light had suddenly appeared. The red light grew before it turned into a red sword ray. Following that, an orange light appeared before turning into a sword ray as well. Then, a yellow light, a green light, a turquoise light, a blue light, and a purple light appeared consecutively and turned into sword rays. Seven sword rays, the colors of a rainbow, appeared before Duan Ling Tian who was in a daze.
Similarly, Tang Xiao Xiao was also shocked when she saw this. “Watch out!” She suddenly cried out. She saw the broken sword slicing through the air toward Duan Ling Tian. Unfortunately, her warning came too late.
However, even if Tang Xiao Xiao had reminded Duan Ling Tian in a timely manner, he still would not avoid the broken sword. This was because he heard Xia Jie’s voice again. “The shattered sword is just an illusion. The illusion will break once you infuse your energy into it. It would need a little of your blood to activate.”

Soon after, a mark appeared in the center of Duan Ling Tian’s palm.

Both Duan Ling Tian and Tang Xiao Xiao’s eyes were glued on the mark. If it was just a normal mark, they would not have been so surprised. However, the mark was in the shape of a sword.
At this moment, Xia Jie’s voice rang in Duan Ling Tian’s ears again. “After it’s been activated, the Seven Orifices Exquisite Sword will appear and disappear with just a thought from you. It’ll dwell in your body.” Upon hearing this, he quickly tested it out. However, he discovered he could not sense any trace of the sword in his body at all. ‘Didn’t third uncle say the sword would dwell in my body?’ He was, naturally, confused.

Duan Ling Tian calmed down and looked at the sword-shaped mark on his right hand as he thought to himself, “Seven Orifices Exquisite Sword!” As soon as the thought appeared in his mind, he discovered a constantly changing beam of light had appeared above his right hand. Shortly after, it solidified into a sword that seemed as though it was made of glass.
Then, Xia Jie’s voice appeared again. “This Seven Orifices Exquisite Sword belonged to my late friend. Although it’s a Devata Artifact, it has lost its sword soul. Without its sword soul, it’s only about as strong as the top Celestial Supreme Treasures in the Devata Realms.”
