FIGHT FOR A SNEAKILY TAKEN PHOTO

Xu Yun took the arrest warrant, and his eyelids lightly jumped. He couldn’t help but to laugh bitterly – hehe, this truly was a thorny one.

“Xu Yun.” Qin Wan’er saw Qiu Yan turn and leave, and could only place her hopes on Xu Yun. “I don’t know if you’ve heard about this Hao Kai, he even killed six police soldiers.”

“This is indeed a huge crime that could reach the heavens.” Xu Yun unconsciously knit his brow together.

“I hope that you can help me.” Qin Wan’er said, “I want to capture this person. He is an utmost dangerous criminal. His heart is cruel and his hands are ruthless. Against police he’s even more merciless. I……I have no way of tolerating this kind of person leisurely beyond the law!”

Xu Yun was so alarmed he sneezed, this woman was crazy right? “Did your brains get kicked by a donkey? Since you know this person is so dangerous, you’re still going to provoke him?”

Qin Wan’er didn’t mind Xu Yun, but looked at Qiu Yan’s turned back going upstairs. After Qiu Yan heard Qin Wan’er’s words she was startled, but continued her steps going upstairs.

After living in the panacea restaurant together for this short time, Qin Wan’er hadn’t found Qiu Yan doing any excessive activities. Even though she still was a bit unable to trust this woman, but at a time like this she still very much wanted to get her help because she was sure Qiu Yan and Xu Yun were alike – both weren’t ordinary people.

“I must capture him.” Qin Wan’er’s face didn’t have half a shred of intent to joke. “Since he came to HeDong City, as a police officer I can’t indulge him to continue running amok. If you don’t want to help me that is your right. I just want to fight that’s all.”

Xu Yun shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t dare to take such dangerous work. I’m not a cop.”

Qin Wan’er took the arrest warrant out of Xu Yun’s hands, and her face showed quite a lot of loss. “Then just treat it as though I never said anything. It’s better to not let QingShuang-jie know about it, save her the worry.”

“You’re afraid she would urge you not to be so reckless right?” Xu Yun exposed it with one line. “Qin Wan’er, I’ll also remind you. You’d best not be so stupid as to confront an S-rank criminal directly, because before him, you’re equal to an ant. In a fraction of a second he can decide whether he wants your life or not.”

“So what?” Qin Wan’er sternly said, “Back when I gunned down Gong You, I also wasn’t an opponent worthy of him!”

Xu Yun clapped his head. “You still have the nerve to say that? Didn’t I block a bullet for you, and didn’t Qiu Yan give that grandson a few slashes? You didn’t even have a chance to shoot.”

“If back then I had known earlier this person was a wanted criminal, I would’ve shot long ago!” Qin Wan’er said, “Then everything that happened after wouldn’t have happened.”

Xu Yun snorted. “Do you think that a bullet is the fastest thing in the world?”

Qin Wan’er was stunned by Xu Yun’s words. Thinking of the scene of that night again, no mistake, Xu Yun exploded in that moment so much so that he was faster than that bullet. He could react within .03 seconds and was simply completely beyond human limits.

“In this world, the numbers of people that can rely on explosive strength to avoid bullets are absolutely like rays of light off a feather. The ones I know of are many.” Xu Yun didn’t at all deny that he was a bit abnormal on this point. “So that day even if you shot him the first moment, you wouldn’t necessarily have shot him dead.”

Not giving Qin Wan’er a chance to speak Xu Yun continued saying, “Also Gong You was just an A-class criminal. You’re a cop. Don’t you understand the concept of an S-class criminal and an A-class criminal? This difference between these two isn’t just a little bit.”

Qin Wan’er clenched tight in an instant. “That’s why I need you guys to help!”

“He didn’t bother me, so I won’t bother him.” Xu Yun still didn’t agree with Qin Wan’er’s intent. “I don’t want to provoke this kind of person. To provoke this kind of person would incur big trouble.”

“What are you guys talking about?” Ruan QingShuang finished washing dishes then walked out and saw Qin Wan’er’s dispirited face and worriedly asked, “What’s wrong Wan’er? Did you come across something troubling?”

Qin Wan’er reluctantly squeezed out smile. “QingShuang-jie, I’m fine. Just a bit tired.”

“Then go upstairs and rest.” Ruan QingShuang hurriedly said.

Qin Wan’er nodded her head without saying anything. Even though she couldn’t convince Xu Yun, she couldn’t force him. After all, each person has the right to choose, so she could only depend on herself.

Waiting for after Qin Wan’er went upstairs, Ruan QingShuang said to Xu Yun, “Watch the shop, I’ll go buy some medical herbs.”

“I’ll go.” Xu Yun got up.

“No need. On the way, I still have to buy a few other things.” Ruan QingShuang declined Xu Yun, then with quick steps she left the panacea restaurant.

Huuu.

Xu Yun looked up at the ceiling. Crimson Scorpion, this difficult guy appearing in a little city like HeDong – perhaps it was truly because of GuoGuo right? Xu Yun thought carefully of Qiu Yan’s eyes and her reaction, and he had no choice but to again affirm his inner thoughts.

No wonder Millennium Feng could be shuffled out in such a short time. The enemy was truly unseen – even Crimson Scorpion, this level of a 1st-tier elite attacked. They were truly large strokes of the brush.

Suddenly the sounds of light steps came from the staircase, and Qiu Yan slowly walked down the stairs. Written all over her face was a helpless expression that didn’t know what to do for best.

“You’re worried that it really is this person?” Xu Yun couldn’t help but to ask.

Qiu Yan nodded. With a grim expression she said, “When Qin Wan’er first mentioned there was an S-class criminal in HeDong City, I started to worry. I always had a thread of hope, hoping that it wasn’t true…..but it seems that now it can already be confirmed.”

Xu Yun squinted a smile. “Your wounds are all healed right?”

Qiu Yan’s beautiful brow wrinkled. “At least 80 or 90% recovered.”

“Hehe, then is it hard to say if you can stand before him?” Xu Yun was very clear – for a 1st-tier elite to lose their power, it was very hard to contend with an equal-leveled opponent.

Qiu Yan a bit self-mockingly said, “Even if my internal injuries were completely healed with no other problems, I would have great difficulty fighting Crimson Scorpion.”

“Is that poisonous scorpion even mightier than the venerated Fox….” Xu Yun froze for a second – Qiu Yan’s gaze made him stop saying the rest.

The two peoples’ four eyes met, and for a while they didn’t say a word.

Finally Qiu Yan spoke up, “You’re very clear about my strength, but actually I’m not clear about your strength. Xu Yun, I know you don’t want to say it, so I won’t ask you who you are. I only want to ask you, was what you said to Qin Wan’er true?”

“What did I say to her?” Xu Yun was confused.

“You said you didn’t want to provoke this kind of person.” Qiu Yan lightly said, “If it’s like that, then tonight I’ll take GuoGuo to leave.”

Xu Yun frowned, “What’s the meaning of this?”

“I will think of a method myself to solve it.” Qiu Yan said with extreme seriousness. “I’m also very clear of just how much of a big trouble it is to provoke them. I have nothing that I could repay you with, so I don’t wish to trouble you again.”

Xu Yun laughed bitterly. “Then I as a godfather, wouldn’t I be too lacking in guts?”

“Crimson Scorpion isn’t like Gong You and Qin Hu. Even though I don’t even know if you’re someone from the Underworld, but since you’ve heard of him, I think you should know just how powerful he is.” Qiu Yan’s expression was gloomy.

“Eh, I had said to Qin Wan’er before that I didn’t want to provoke trouble.” Xu Yun said with a squinted smile, “But I said that if he doesn’t bother me, I won’t bother him. If he wants to pay attention to my precious daughter, of course I won’t sit idly by.”

Qiu Yan whole body shivered, her eyes were bewildered as she looked at Xu Yun.

“Don’t look at me like that, I’m not a bad person.” Xu Yun felt uncomfortable with Qiu Yan’s gaze. “Since the day I recognized GuoGuo as my daughter, I have the duty to be her protective umbrella, to shield her from arrows; her problems are my problems. Whoever dares to harm her, is just like treating me with harm. You’d best not have any kind of overreaction. If you take GuoGuo to leave at night, it won’t just be me and Shuang-jie that won’t forgive you. GuoGuo also will not forgive you.”

Qiu Yan finally calmed down. Ruan QingShuang not forgiving her didn’t matter. Xu Yun not forgiving her also didn’t matter. But GuoGuo….if even GuoGuo didn’t forgive her, then what should she do?

Even though Xu Yun also wasn’t relaxed, he could only feign calmness. “No matter how big the trouble is, it will still pass.”

Perhaps GuoGuo also had a sixth sense. Originally she was going to the room to have an afternoon nap, but hearing Qiu Yan going downstairs, she also followed. She didn’t miss one word of Xu Yun and Qiu Yan’s conversation and heard every word in her ears.

“If soldiers come then block them, if water comes then use earth as barriers. There’s godfather to resist Crimson Scorpion coming.” GuoGuo finally stopped holding back – while going downstairs she announced her inner thoughts. “Qiu Yan-jiejie, I don’t want to go.”

Qiu Yan, with a soft heart, completely got rid of her own plan. She also didn’t want to go, but she simply didn’t know how long she could hold out for. Crimson Scorpion was already an opponent she had no way to control. Even if with Xu Yun’s help they could luckily avoid one disaster, then what about the next time? What about the time after that?

Would the heavens know if one day Blue Ghost would personally appear before her again!

Regarding this notion, Qiu Yan both dreaded it and awaited it. She looked forward to the day that she could personally settle this person, but knew that she herself couldn’t win. If there really was such a day, then perhaps she would never again have the strength to protect GuoGuo.

“That’s a must.” Xu Yun craftily smiled at GuoGuo. “I absolutely won’t let my daughter suffer.”

GuoGuo with a look of joy charged into Xu Yun’s bosom. “Hey hey, I just know daddy treats GuoGuo the best. Promise, GuoGuo promises to help you get pictures of things you won’t forget.”

With that GuoGuo passed Ruan QingShuang’s cell phone to Xu Yun. Opening up her photo gallery, even though the picture was dark and especially unclear, Xu Yun could still vaguely see Ruan QingShuang only wearing underwear, with her graceful position lying in bed in a perfect S-shape.

Oh damn, he didn’t adopt this daughter in vain! Forget about Crimson Scorpion, even if Crimson Scorpion’s dad came, Xu Yun would definitely want to battle him. For pictures he would also fight,  absolutely must fight!

Eh, but right now the most important thing should be to first give GuoGuo a digital camera that could take good pictures at night…..muhaha…..

“Dad…..nosebleed.” GuoGuo helplessly shook her head. “If you can’t take just this much stimulation, too sucky….eh, originally I wanted to take an even more explosive one.”

“No problem, I can handle it!” Xu Yun made it known, even if he sprayed noseblood until he died it was worth it.

Qiu Yan’s face blacklined, did she really have to believe this dude? Did she really have to entrust GuoGuo and her own safety to this guy? Scary!
