She looked down at the screen and realized it was… Fan Jie .

They had not been in contact since the time Shen Liangchuan had threatened him into not accepting her exclusive interview .

She wondered why he was calling her now .

She picked up the call and Fan Jie’s voice came from the other end, “Sister-in-law, where are you?”

Qiao Lian’s eyes wandered around the room . “What’s up?”

“That’ll be all . ”

After those words, Shen Liangchuan hung up .

Twenty minutes later, Shen Liangchuan turned up at the team’s villa .

After getting in the car, Qiao Lian realized that Fan Jie was in the backseat . The moment he saw her, he exclaimed, “My sister-in-law, it’s been such a long time!”
