"What exactly did your father ask in return?" Ming Rusheng asked.
"I have to agree to meet any girl he would ask me to," Wen Zac replied.
"It's fine."
"It's not fine. He will keep introducing me to the girls until I agree to marry any of them," Wen Zac explained.
"Before that, take my sister out of your head," Ming Rusheng commented as he smiled teasingly.
Wen Zac sighed, "She doesn't even spare me a glance. There is no meaning of thinking about her."
"Because of her handsome brother, her standard is high," Ming Rusheng said again as the teasing smile didn't leave his lips.
"You teasing me, huh? You two, brother and sister, are so cruel. Sister never replies to me, and brother rubs salt on my wounds," Wen Zac said as he emptied out the glass of wine.
Seeing him annoyed, Ming Rusheng couldn't stop smiling, "You should definitely forget about her."
"How can a boring person like you understand my pain?" When Zac said, pouring more wine into his glass as he spoke, "Just wait for the day when I'll marry the woman you like as my revenge on you. Only then you will understand my pain."
Hearing it, the smile on Ming Rusheng's lips disappeared as he thought about something.
"When you said no to marry President Lu, then why did your parents go to Lu Mansion?" Ming Rusheng asked. He turned anxious inside but didn't let it show on his face.
Wen Zac didn't think much about it and replied, "Father wants Liwei to marry Lu Lijun. When his son said no to marry president Lu, it was embarrassing for him to face his friend, and now he would want to make up for it."
Ming Rusheng just nodded lightly, but his heart couldn't feel at peace.
"By the way, how come your family doesn't ask you to get married?" Wen Zac asked.
"They do, especially my grandpa," Ming Rusheng replied.
Wen Zac sighed, "Why can't our families leave us alone?"
The two stayed silent for a while, enjoying the drink, but Wen Zac asked again, "In the past, once you said you liked someone. What happened later?"
"Nothing."
Seeing Ming Rusheng not willing to answer, Wen understood it was the time to annoy his friend, "Don't tell me she dumped you badly that till date you don't dare to get any woman."
"Same would have happened to you if you were not smart," Ming Rusheng mumbled as he thought Jiang Yuyan would have rejected him too.
"What?.. What did you say?"
"I said you are smart," replying, Ming Rusheng offered to pour more wine in his glass.
"Lu Qiang was lucky to have President Lu. Don't you think so? Even after so many years, she didn't forget him. We all need such women in life."
"I would never want my woman to suffer like this if I die. I would prefer her to move on," Ming Rusheng replied and asked, "If you want such a woman, then you should have agreed to marry her."
"I have been with her and watched her closely. She would never think about any other man," Wen Zac replied.
"True," Ming Rusheng agreed.
Wen Zac had so many questions in mind, "Don't know how my father got this idea. I think it's because she is comfortable with me, and we traveled to Florence together without having any business there."
Ming Rusheng looked at him questioningly, "Why did you go to Florence."
Wen Zac looked at the wine glass in his hand, "It's all your fault," and then looked at Ming Rusheng, "That I can't tell you."
"She doesn't want to?" Ming Rusheng asked.
"Hmm, no one knows other than her and me," Wen Zac added.
Ming Rusheng didn't insist, and the two spent their time talking about this and that.

Lu Mansion…
Mr. and Mrs. Wen reached the Lu Mansion. Everyone was home as instructed by Lu Jinhai, except for Lu Feng and Lu Han.
Jiang Yuyan greeted them as they were important people to Lu Jinhai and might be Lu Lian's In-laws if things went right.
As everyone sat in the living room, Lu Jinhai asked, "Where is Lu Lijun?"
"He will be here in some time," Ning Jiahui replied.
Lu Lian sat beside Jiang Yuyan, knowing why she had to be there. She felt relieved that Wen Zac didn't come or she had to spend time with him when she was not even ready.
As Lu Jinhai and Mr. Wen talked about the most significant ongoing project, they didn't forget to praise Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun.
"I did nothing much. Lu Lijun deserves all this praising," said Jiang Yuyan.
"My son praised him too. I'm sure with president Lu, he would do even better in the future," Mr. Wen commented.
Lu Jinhai agreed, "She is teaching him well."
"I see Lu Qiang in him, calm, composed, and knows what to do," Mr. Wen praised him again.
"We think the same and waiting for the day when he would be ready to lead everything," said Lu Jinhai.
"Soon, father. We will announce it," said Jiang Yuyan.
Others felt glad that it would happen soon as the day waited for so long, finally would be there.
Mr, Wen was happy hearing it and looked at Lu Jinhai, "You have got a precious son."
Lu Jinhai smiled, and Mr. Wen added, "I would like to take away that precious son for my daughter."
Lu Jinhai laughed a little while other family members were left surprised.
"I know, and I would like to, but we need to let kids decide," said Lu Jinhai.
"He is still young for it," Ning Jiahui said.
"It's just a talk. We can let kids meet, and then they will decide. We won't force them," Mrs. Wen added.
Mr. Wen looked at elder Lu, "Father, what do you think about it?"
"As long as kids are happy," Elder Lu replied.
Everyone had seen Liwei, and they found her good for Lu Lijun, so no one had anything to say.
"I want to know what President Lu thinks about it?" Mr. Wen asked.
Jiang Yuyan, who was calm till now listening to the approval of others, talked about what she felt, "It's not the time to bring these things up. "I'm glad to hear it," said Mr wen and continued, "But President Lu is right too. It's an important time for you to focus more on work."
Lu Lijun looked at Mr. Wen, "If president Lu thinks I can lead the empire of Lu Corporations, then she should trust me with other things too."
Lu Lijun looked at Jiang Yuyan who looked back at him. His sight carried something that showed it was the start of his battle against her.
