Soon there was a result and to everyone's surprise, the project went to the Ming Industries when most of them thought to get defeated by Lu Corporations if they lost the project.
Everyone was shocked but Lu Qiang. He was calm and looked unaffected while it shocked Xiao Min to his bone as he couldn't believe someone beat his boss's proposal.
"Boss! This….How can this be?"
Smiling Lu Qiang replied, "I told you someone must have prepared better than us." Saying Lu Qiang stood up from the chair. When they came across Ming Rusheng, he wished him.. "Congrats, Ming Rusheng."
"Thank you, President Lu. I hope it didn't shock you as we got the project," asked Ming Rusheng.
"It went exactly as I expected," Lu Qiang replied calmly.
"So you knew what the result would be," asked Ming Rusheng sarcastically, carrying a smirk on his lips.
"It's just that I never doubted your capability of doing things." Replying, Lu Qiang moved his sight from Ming Rusheng to his father, Ming Yusheng. Greeting him with a little nod, Lu Qiang left with Xiao Min following him.
Ming Rusheng kept looking at Lu Qiang's retreating back, thinking about what he said.

In the night, Jiang Yuyan and Lu Qiang were in the bedroom. Jiang Yuyan was reading business news on her laptop while Lu Qiang was going through a few files, both sitting at either side of the couch. When she saw a particular news item and read it, she looked at Lu Qiang.
"Did Ming industries get the project that you were working on for a few weeks?" Jiang Yuyan asked.
"Hmm!" Lu Qiang nodded, not bothered to look at her as if it was nothing important.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"What's there to be not okay?" he asked calmly, still going through the file.
"I mean you lost the project."
"This is not the first one I lost."
"I read brother Rusheng was the one who handled the other side."
"Hmm!"
"But weren't there a rule that Lu's and Ming's will never cross the path in business," she asked as it was known to the whole business world.
"Rules are meant to be broken."
"Was it the brother Rusheng to break it?"
Lu Qiang put the file back on the table and looked at her. "We need not discuss what he does. We should just concentrate on what we can do," he said calmly.
"I am just worried about why is he doing it suddenly," she said as worry took over her pretty face.
"Whatever it is. Let him do his work." As Lu Qiang said it, Jiang Yuyan kept her laptop on the table in front of her and shift towards Lu Qiang who was sitting at another corner of the couch.
"I want to tell you something," she said.
"Hmm! Tell me," Lu Qiang said, looking at her, observing her worried face.
"There is something I didn't tell you and I think that is the reason brother Ming Rusheng is doing it suddenly."
"Don't tell me he confessed his feelings to you, but as you are with me so he is doing it to take revenge," Lu Qiang said casually, one side of his lips curved up and his eyes ready to capture her shocked reaction.
"H-How do you know this?" she asked, feeling surprised.
Holding her face in his palms, Lu Qiang said looking at her lovingly, "My woman is so special that there is no one who can not like her, so it's my woman's fault if someone has feelings for her."
Jiang Yuyan was looking at him, not knowing what to say when she expected him to get angry after listening to her and he continued.
"I should lock you in this room so that no one other than me can see you and have feelings for you."
She moved back to get out of the hold of his palms and asked, "Why would you lock me? I didn't ask anyone to like me. It's not my fault if their brains work in the wrong way," Jiang Yuyan frowned.
Smiling Lu Qiang pulled her closer to him and said, "Stop thinking unnecessary things. You have nothing to do with it. If not now then it would have definitely happened in the future when Lus and Mings would stand against each other in business."
"Really?"
"Hmm! By the way, when did he confess to you?" Lu Qiang asked curiously.
"The night of the bachelor's party when I was talking to you on the cell phone once I was home. I was in the gallery of that floor when he suddenly came there. He was drunk."
"Did he trouble you?" He asked worriedly looking into her eyes.
"No. Just a few things that I didn't like to hear."
"Was he talking about me?"
"Hmm! And I didn't like it."
"It's okay. Now you are mine forever and I am sure, no one will dare to trouble you ever."
Jiang Yuyan hugged him. "I feel safe as you are with me."
"Should I make you feel not so safe then?" he asked teasingly and Jiang Yuyan replied, "I don't mind."
Just then, Lu Qiang's cell phone rang. "Bad timing," said Lu Qiang looking at the cellphone but seeing the number flashing on the cell phone screen he picked it up to receive the call and looked at Jiang Yuyan to check if it upset her.
Smiling, Jiang Yuyan said, "Your other wife is calling. Don't make her wait or she will curse me."
Lu Qiang was getting used to it when Lu Feng, Jiang Yang and Jiang Yuyan called Xiao Min as his wife and he didn't mind it, knowing it was for fun.
Lu Qiang picked up the call. "Yes, Xiao Min."
"Sorry to call you at this late hour boss, but I need to talk to you as I could not be in peace," Xiao Min replied.
Noticing, how serious Xiao Min sounded, Lu Qiang got up from the couch and went towards the gallery. Jiang Yuyan didn't mind it and instead looked at the files kept on the table.
"Let me see what was he going through so seriously?" she picked up one file and when she was reading it, her sight fell on one file which looked different from other files and the title of that file was- Private.
Being curious about what private thing is in the file she opened it, ready to get one more shock.
