The Secret of the Red Fruit
"Pochi, do you hate tomatoes?"
With a sad face, Master looks at the plate with only tomatoes left over.
"T-that's not true nanodesu! Pochi loves tomatoes nanodesu!"
Pochi quickly responds.
"If you don't like them, you don't have to force yourself."
But, Master doesn't believe Pochi.
"*bite*, Tashty nanoresu"
"I see, that's good. They're very nutritious, so I would be happy if you eat a lot."
"OK nanorefu."
Pochi does her best and stuffs all the red fruit into her mouth, then Master gives her a big smile.
--If it's for that smile, Pochi can eat soggy red fruit nanodesu.
"Tama finished all of it too, good job."
"Nihehe~"
--Ah! It's unfair that Tama is the only one getting head pats nanodesu!
As Pochi stares at Tama, Master says "Of course, good job to Pochi too", and pats Pochi's head too.
Nihehe~, nanodesu!

"O~ops."
"The red fruit is here again nanodesu."
The monkey person comes here every morning and happily brings in lots of the red fruit.
"You two, don't be picky with food."
"Aye~"
"OK nanodesu."
Pochi and Tama nod at Liza's words.
Being hungry and unable to move is much worse than putting soggy red fruit into stomach.
It's much better than eating the bitter Gabo stems, or rough tree bark.
--But.
"Huh~?"
"Red fruit is gone nanodesu."
Pochi looks all over the plate, but the red fruit isn't there.
"Sorry, I used all of them to make tomato puree. There aren't any tomatoes left today."
Master apologizes with a sad face.
"That's fine~?"
"That's right nanodesu. Pochi is just a little disappointed, but is very fine nanodesu. Pochi will be fine if it is gone tomorrow too nanodesu."
Master starts laughing when he hears Tama and Pochi's response.
--When Master is happy, Pochi feels happy too nanodesu.
"No worries. We only ran out for today, so there will be plenty tomorrow."
"Ya~y?"
"T-that's very, very, dis-- Happy nanodesu."
Pochi doesn't lose to the very disappointing news, and pretends to be happy along with Tama.
"The omurice is ready."
Lulu carries in a plate with a yellow fried egg into the dining room.
"Looks well made."
"Yes! I did my best!"
Lulu looks very happy after being complimented by Master.
"Today is omurice made with tomato puree."
Master pours a thick red liquid on top of the fried egg plate.
...That must be the soggy red fruit.
Pochi nods at Tama and Tama nods back.
Must finish all of it.
For the sake of Master's smile--.
"Let's dig in."
"Aye~?"
"O-okay nanodesu."
Master looks at Pochi expectantly, so Pochi quickly sticks a spoon in the egg dish.
--Pochi won't lose nanodesu!
With all her might, Pochi takes a large chunk and stuffs it in her mouth.
The egg-covered rice melts away in Pochi's mouth, and the sweet and delicious flavor flows throughout.
"Delicious~"
Tama ears are standing upright and her eyes are wide open.
Pochi is probably making the same face right now.
"Super, amazing nanodesu!"
Master laughs happily at Pochi's words.
--Pochi can eat three full plates if it's for Master's smile nanodesu.
Mia, Arisa, and the rest are all focused on eating.
Everyone seems to love the omurice.
Pochi doesn't want to lose, so she starts moving her spoon too.
*clang* Pochi's spoon hits the plate as she realizes that she just ate the last bite.
"Did you want more?"
At Master's question, Pochi rushes to say that line before the others.
And those words were--.
"Seconds please, nanodesu!"
