EROMANGA SENSEI VOL. 12 EPILOGUE

December

The day has come when our club, led by Yamada Elf, will participate in a major winter event for the first time.

In the booth, there are our works- the completed doujinshi. It’s just before noon so, of course, the event has already started, and the hall is very crowded.

In the meantime, the popularity of our works is…

“It’s all sold out!”

Elf raised his arms and declared.

“Wow! We’re out so soon!”

“Well, you know what I said this before. Hundred copies wouldn’t be enough”

Aluminum, who was a seller with Elf, shrugs and complains.

The two beautiful girls are dressed in maid clothes for some reason. It was Elf’s dream to sell his magazine in this fashion.

She’s such a dreamy woman.

“You did it, Nii-san!”
“Oh, it’s quite different from what I usually do at work- it’s a great sense of accomplishment. I’m happy to have the book picked up in front of me.”
“Yep Yep!,”

I laugh with Sagiri.

Sagiri, who took great strides with being free from being a hikikomori, isn’t with us to participate in the event.

As usual, she came via tablet participation.

But she wears her maid clothes tight on the other side of the screen as well. Of course, Sagiri practiced going out until the very last minute, but she couldn’t overcome the crowd in the end.

If it’s a light morning, you can take a walk outside with me.
That’s what Sagiri is all about. Her long-cherished desire to go to school will be a little later. But maybe… by the time our animation was broadcast…

In April, when the new semester begins…

Sagiri, who goes to junior high school in his uniform, may be seen. It was a very happy fact.

“Huh, there’s someone who’s mentioned our book online right away.”

Our leader, who was tapping away on her smartphone, hung a board saying “sold out” in front of the booth. Just then, we had a visitor, a beautiful black-haired Japanese girl.

“Here we are, Masamune!”

It’s Muramasa. She is waving with a small hand up and a neat gesture.

“Welcome, Senpai.Thank you for coming all the way.”

“You don’t need to be thankful. If I can read Izumi Masamune’s new novel, I’ll go to the end of the earth.”

Muramasa-Senpai brings her pretty face closer and closer.

In fact, I think this person could smile even if the event was held in Alaska or Mars. She was a grateful reader. That’s why I feel guilty.

“Post board?” That’s–
“Well Well Well, if it isn’t Muramasa! You stopped by!”
“Elf… How dare you … do this! You wicked demon!”
“Oh, what’s wrong with you all of a sudden? You look so gorgeous, don’t you know that?”
“Stupid! You know why I’m so angry!”

Muramasa blushes and expresses his anger with overreaction. I’m afraid she does look lovely.

Elf responded in a light tone.
“Kufu, are you angry that you didn’t invite me to make a magazine?”
“Yes! So why did you leave me out of this!? You’re such a bully!”
“There’s no one in this world who can bully you- I was saying it myself. They say people can’t create things with too many people, that’s why I didn’t invite you.”

Elf technically isn’t lying. But this is exactly why we didn’t:

“We couldn’t invite Senjyu Muramasa because we’d drag her down.”

“Even you called me out…”

I couldn’t bear it either. If she learned that Izumi Masamune was among the participants, there was a possibility that she would join us. I feel sorry that I couldn’t explain all the circumstances when I saw Senpai looking at her in frustration. The feelings should be the same for Elf, but she doesn’t seem to have such.

“Whoops, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, sorry, so now I’m telling you to get over yourself, okay, Muramasa?”

“Damn you… I’ll never forgive you.”

“Any time you want to dance dear!”

Muramasa cleared her throat as if she had recovered her composure.

“Please give me a copy of Izumi Masamune Sensei’s personal magazine.”

Senpai, who only wants to read my novels, asks Elf to give him both hands.

Elf smiles and points her finger at the “sold out” card.

“You can’t come by now and get the magazine you’re looking for~”

“What!?” A cry of despair.

“That’s because I found out today that you’re going to participate in this event! It was just a while ago that I learned the word ”“Winter Reviews”“!”

“It’s going to sell out right away. You know that, don’t you?”

“Oh, really, don’t you have any left…? I can’t read Masamune’s new book…?”

“Hee, I’ve kept a some for Muramasa!”

“Hurry up and say stupid!”

Muramasa, who was crying, received the book.

“Oh…”

Her face suddenly brightened up and she held it in her arms.

It’s a scene that makes me envious of the magazine. Holding a book for a while, she stared at Elf who teased her.

“Oh, you’re… You’re so mean!”
“I’m sorry, Muramasa was so desperate that I couldn’t resist.”
“That’s it!”

As she repeated it again and stood up on the spot, stopped, and instead started reading the doujinshi. I guess the feeling of ‘I want to read it as soon as possible’ takes precedence over everything else.

At any rate, I think I’ll be able to share my thoughts with you soon.

“Muramasa, hey Muramasa, it’s definitely disturbing to stand there, so read it in the booth, okay?”

Aluminum pushes Muramasa’s back and guides him to the right place.

We quietly clean up the booth so as not to disturb our senpai’s reading.

“Elf, if you want to visit the event venue, I’m can with my senpai.”

“Thank you, but I’ll stop this time. I want to stay here forever on my first day in the club.”

“I see,”
“And–”

Elf glances at the doujinshi, which remains in the cardboard box.

It is not for distribution, but a gift for friends. The book I kept in the cardboard box were the last book of its kind, passing the rest to the club next door: Megumi, Shido-kun, and Kusanagi Senpai, who came earlier.

Elf seemed to have decided who to hand the book to. Even if you can’t read other people’s thoughts, or if you’re as naive as Light Novel’s main character, anyone can understand. It may have been just right that Muramasa came.

This is because we had a reason to stay here even if the magazine was sold out or cleaned up until she finished reading the novel.

We listened intently to the sound of Muramasa turning the pages. Eventually, she closes the book silently and lets out a long breath.

“It was a good book.”

Followed by a short review,
“Well, I should have been allowed to participate. I’ll invite you next time.”

We received the best compliments. Elf, Aluminum, Sagiri on the screen, and I clenched their fists tightly. This is because our collaborative work was suitable for the eyes of “the most severe reader.”

In this way, Izumi Masamunee and Yamada Elf no longer stand in the way of Senju Muramasa – that’s why.

“All right!” barked Elf.

She exchanged a high five with a bang.

At this moment, we were completely understood. I’ve forgotten the awkwardness I’ve had lately. I’m dying to talk to you about my next work with this heat. Both Elf and I tried to express our passionate thoughts at the same time.

“You seem to be making good progress, Emily?”

I turned to his voice. The person Elf had been waiting for.

“Mom! You came!”

“Oh, is it strange that I come to the winter reviews?”
“It’s very weird. You’re super noticeable.”

She is so beautiful that she looks like a celebrity that’s participating in the show. Elf’s mother says in an uninteresting tone, probably contrary to her inner thoughts.

“I told you that I would cooperate with you. I’ll study your hobbies and the culture of my daughter and her husband.”
“Who is the daughter and her husband? I told you I had no intention of doing so.”

When I immediately deny her, she laughs amusedly.

“What? You haven’t caught him yet?”
“It’s a work in progress, little by little.”
“It’s not true either! My heart hasn’t been eroded at all! Say something, Sagiri!”
“Huh? You’re mine! I’m the one who marries you! I won’t give you to Elf!”

Uh Huh! That’s right! Tell them!

While cheering for Sagiri in my heart, Elf goes,
“Well, why doesn’t Sagiri marry me with Masamune?”

“…Uh… well…er…hmm….”

“Don’t worry!”
“Well, I’ll say no. I want to monopolize you.”

I hope so anyway!

Yes… our relationship is solid and iron-walled– There is not a single opportunity for Elf to interrupt. There is no room for an absurd proposal.

“Emily, let’s get married together.
"Oh, we should do it. A family of four, including Amelia.”
“That’d be good because Masamune, if that happens in the future, you may do me good.”
“Really?”
“Nii-san!?”

Sagiri’s angry voice made him suddenly come back to life. I recovered hard and said coolly.

“I didn’t feel swayed!”
“Yea you did did! I’m sure you did!’
"You can’t say anything about me when you consider Elf!”
“Oh, really! So you go after Onee-chan?!”

I apologized in a great panic to the furious Sagiri.

Meanwhile,
“Oh, what! What have you been talking about? There’s another sign of a failure!”

Muramasa, the only one who doesn’t understand the situation, is embarrassed. Sagiri gets angry, Elf teases, Muramasa starts accumulating explosive gauges, and Armeria scratches around even more-creating a chaotic space.

“… I guess I’m in the way. I’m gonna head home.”

Elf’s mother shrugged her shoulders and said:

“What? Mom – why don’t you stay, just for today?”
“I’m busy. I don’t have time for that. I came all the way to see my daughter, and I thought that might be impossible already.”

I’m beginning to understand her. I know it’s very rude to use such a metaphor for a real person, but she’s the most Light Novel heroine I know. It’s that attribute handed down from ancient times. She offered Elf a basket in a snappy manner.

“Mom… what about this?”
“…doesn’t it mean to send a gift in winter reviews?”

“Oh, by any chance – handmade?”

To the happy daughter, her mother says, 'Please don’t be misguided.’

“I made it as a hobby and… I failed… not my real ability…”
“Can I open it?”

Elf looks used to it, ignoring mysterious excuses, and opens the lid of the basket that was handed over to her.

“Wow… This much…”

Inside was a rusk coated with colorful sprintles. The shape was uneven, and a chef could tell at a glance that he was not used to cooking.

“Emily…you…that…because I liked you.”

When she was embarrassed, her ears turned red, just like her daughter’s.

Elf picks up a small scoop and eats it with a snap.

“It’s delicious. Thank you, mother.”
“…You’re welcome, then – I’m going home.”

Elf calls out to her mother’s back as she turns quickly.
“Wait, mother,” In return – here.“

E.L.F. handed over the doujinshi we created… the last book.

"We all made it together. Please accept it.”
“…yes. I’ll read it carefully after I get home.”

Taking it as a treasure, Elf’s mother walked away lightly.

I hope you can read it and enjoy it.
I hope you will feel that it was interesting.
That’s our first magazine ever created by a club.
The one EroManga Sensei and the Armeria-Sensei drew.
The one with the theme of Isekai-kei, and the same world view,
The story that Izumi Masamune and Yamada Elf wrote.

The protagonist I created travels through a world where civilization has collapsed and causes more catastrophies to save the woman he loves. He sacrificed the majority of mankind, destroyed the precious civilization that remained, and nurtured the seeds of destruction that would sprout in a few hundred years.

Whether you’re a big criminal or a grudge from all over the world,
“If I can make one person happy, I don’t need anything else,” he said.

That’s what Izumi Masamune wanted to write.
When I read it the novel written by Elf, it wasn’t finished.

–because I thought your novel would motivate me.
–I could write a better last scene now.

What kind of ending did she write?
It’s a story that wraps up everything.

The hero created by Elf travels around the world hundreds of years after the catastrophies and performs various activities to save the woman he loves.

During his journey, after many battles, he became stronger, wiser, sly, and worse;

He did great evils and justice. He increased the number of able companions, gain wealth and power, gain credibility, and plot; They controlled villages, developed cities, created countries, and even ruled the world.

It’s all for us to get on with it.
To do what I want to do.
To make my dream come true.
“I Want to Save the Falling World”
“I want to save my loved one.”
“I don’t want to sacrifice myself.”
“And I’ll get rid of the great sins committed by your ancestors.”

『Leave it to me』

Don’t give up anything, don’t let go, get everything, and be happy together. Everyone laughs and ends.

That’s the story.

On the last page, he was surrounded by children and grandchildren who could not enter the house. On the last day of my life, I was laughing like crazy. It was the story of a man who fulfilled his dream, achieved his ambition and accomplished it. It was the story of a strong protagonist who became happier than anyone else who could not help longing for it.

What Yamada Elf wrote shows me the future. It must be wonderful.

“Masamune, what are you doing?”

She put on her coat and called my name.

As I was lost in thought, I turned back to reality and looked up.
“Your novel was interesting,”

“Haha! I know! I wrote it!”

I liked her shining smile.

My heart fluttered at the voice of her unabashed ambition. I was thrilled to see her fulfilling her dreams one after another. There were times when I was irritated or muddled by the sudden temptation of my words and actions beyond my imagination.

“Well, I hate you very much,”

image
“You get along with me, don’t you know. I love you, too.”

Oh, my God.

I really hate you trying to force your way into our dreams. I don’t like it, I don’t like it one bit. It confuses me when I see her face and I hear her voice.

My heart gets hot and I feel like I’m going to split it.

It’s strange.

Like the release date of the debut film, or the day of the anime release, I felt restless and nervous, but that excitment you knew wouldn’t last forever. What will I do in the future? What do you want to be? How will you live your life?

Izumi Masamune (いずみマサムネ)[1] could always answer immediately to the difficult questions that many young people were worried about. If you ask Elf the same question now, I’m sure she’d give you an immediate answer as well.

To live happily with my beloved Sagiri.

That’s my dream, and I want a happy end.
And although it shouldn’t ever change…

“Are you going to join Sagiri lunch?”
“Oh, yes,”

“Then, hurry up. Let’s go.”

The scene I think is changing a little.
Side by side with Elf, We walk to together to Sagiri.
