Arma Zirnitra took the same formation as during the previous battle. The western lords’ army in the center, Leitmertz’s army on the right wing, and Olmutz’s army on the left wing. Meanwhile, Valentina had deployed 5,000 soldiers of the former Adelaiyda army in the center while sending the rest to the right wing. Together with the western lords’ army, the right wing fell slightly short of 3,000 soldiers. A little less than 3,000 soldiers of Osterode lined up their spears at the left wing.

The battle began without any time to greet the morning. The hooting of the horns echoed through the air, and the flags fluttered in the morning wind. The advance of close to 20,000 humans, when combining both armies, caused the ground to shake.

Valentina would focus on the overall command without trying to make a move herself this time.

The soldiers clashed from the front, striking at each other with their weapons. The morale of Leitmeritz’s army was terrifying. Elen had called together the soldiers before the battle to give a speech.

“It depends on yourself whether you’ll be able to recover your honor today.”

It was unthinkable for any soldier to not get stirred up by those words. In addition, Elen stood at the head of her army and duked it out with Osterode’s soldiers, just like during the previous battle.

The attacks of Leitmeritz’s soldiers were like a fierce avalanche, bringing them close to crushing Osterode’s ranks. If not for Valentina taking command, Arma Zirnitra might have achieved victory at that point. But, Valentina skilfully made Osterode’s soldiers fall back, and send forth a detached unit right at the moment when Leitmeritz’s battle line had stretched thin, delivering a mighty blow to the right flank of Leitmeritz’s army. This caused Elen to frantically act in order to fix her army’s ranks by having her soldiers fall back.

The battle went on like this, both armies alternatively advancing or retreating.

In the back of the central division, Tigre suppressed the urge of wanting to rush out while receiving reports from each army division. At present, the power balance was close to even, but Tigre’s side was slightly inferior.

Standing next to Tigre, Mashas almost never interrupted Tigre, limiting himself to happily watching the growth of his best friend’s son.

At that time Tigre sent a messenger to Lim at the right wing with a certain order.
