Honestly, I would say that it’s about ninety…… No, let’s say sixty percent impossible to win this thing, even if we take into consideration the participation of the People of the Forest and tri-headed Tyranno combined. This is crazy thing to pull off, but it all depends on the things such as Tottori being able to play outside of his roleplay, because playing in character is good and fun while it lasts, but it is not something that will allow you to emerge victorious.
And if the future really is not in anyone’s hands to control, than what we should be doing here is to look for a way leading towards victory, not deliberating whether or not we CAN or CANNOT win.
Relying on luck is something you only do after running out of all of your other resources and ideas. That, or until you are going to die and be resurrected so many times that you are actually going to fall into despair because of that.

「Umm, it’s about that body of yours……」
Ahh, so that’s what this is all about? Certainly, from an outsider’s perspective, right about now I must look like I’m fatally injured or something alongside of those lines.
The crack all over my body were the effects of the Bone Shatterer. I guess it looks really graphic, combined with all the burning wounds that were also visible through the points where I also happened to stab myself.

「AND I may also happen to move faster than you will be able to perceive. Just a heads-up.」

We sure are, aren’t we? But is it not right? Sometimes the scariest creatures out there are the ones with the lowest intelligence possible. But it is the ambitious people that you should be the most wary about! They can trample over you without even blinking if it means getting what they want!

「You can drop the ‘-sama’ part, I don’t like formalities to begin with. So? What is it?」
…… Oh well, what could this be about? It surely was some time since it happened, but you cannot possibly expect a character how just happened to lose both of his parents to pull himself together so fast. Really now, if that was the case here, it would have been a point for concern rather than anything else.
「The People of the Forest…… the Elves…… I am so… weak. No matter how determined, how angry I may be…… even if my arrows continue to fly without rest…… there is just no way for us to be able to beat a monster such as this.」

They make mistakes and that is why it is possible to defeat them if you are determined enough and hone your skills to their very best. This thing, however, is fundamentally different. If they were able to do that, I would be the first one to send an email with a bug report to the support team.

With that scream of despair right now, I can feel that urge to fight back completely disappearing from this one. The lad could only clench his teeth and let the tears flow from his eyes as the waves of emotions that were too heavy to overlook and too strong to simply forget started to overtake him.
The only thing I can do now for this Elf here is to listen. Listen in silence to the heartfelt wishes of a lone Person of the Forest, who was overcome with grief and sorrow after his loved ones were taken from him in such unjust manner. …… And then I raise my shield.

So I guess that heat beam was created by melting the eyeball and converting it into energy? Like a breath attack turned laser? It certainly is dangerous, but thanks to that I was able to deflect that splendidly with Dis Pater.
「I know that the fate that those two have met was awful, but…… I would like you to remember just one thing here. There is no destiny that cannot be unchanged. There is no ill fate that cannot be overturned for the better. So with that being said, I hope that you will keep on fighting to make your own fate into a good one.」」
However…… Yes, there is a huge however that must be stated here.
Even in this world, the world of ShangriLa Frontier, it is impossible to win when the event is constructed in such a way that the whole world and fate itself is against you.
But if it is not a Unique Scenario with a drama-like aspect added to it for the sake of creating even greater immersion, a simple and brute strength should have been well enough for us to be able to clear any raid battle that this game can throw at us. Especially with the People of the Forest throwing their lives on the line here…… Our chances of actually winning are slim, only slightly bigger than zero. But they are not ZERO! This is not impossible! Isn’t that right, Tias-paisen!?
「Hey, Tottori…… and I guess you as well, you perverted Deepslaughter. I’d say that if there was ever a moment during this fight to reverse the fate of this battle in our favor, it would be right about now, wouldn’t you agree?」
By the way, I am sure that tri-headed Tyranno must feel the same way here, even though it is a monster. So there is only one thing that is really needed to be said here:
「We are all here not because we want to lose! We are all here because we fight to win!」
「……, Right……!」
Do you happen to know how you can beat every single opponent in a fight, as long as it is not a scripted event that just forces you to lose?
Sure, you may not be able to kill God in one shot. But if you make that one million shots, suddenly the chances for you to bring the God down increase dramatically!
