When it comes to the Altar of Awakening, there were “claws” outside of it as well that were leading to various places in its vicinity. One of them led to the roof of one of the houses in the residential district, so I decided to jump on that one and use it as a slide. Funny thing is, I did not even need the assist of skills to jump at it and maintain my balance. Now, it’s time for the shortest route to the battlefield! Rooftop run!

I have meant it as a joke, but with my current stats even I cannot be sure how fast I would really be here. I would have to check that out and see if it was safe for Emul as well. Only then I would be able to safely put him back on top of my head.

The new and improved skill for the swordsman, Kurama’s Heavenly Secret! The movement speed and movement correction of this skill is the same as for Yoshitsune’s Possession from before, but in addition to some added numbers here, it also applies those effects when it comes to uneven ground and footholds! For example, places such as rails, or thin tree branches, or even……
Or even such an unstable place as the very back of the tri-headed Tyranno!

For the time being, the tri-headed Tyranno can be left to its own devices. As far as I am concerned right now, it is not even a monster, but rather an element of the landscape that just so happens to go on a rampage entirely on its own. It is also a good thing that it considers humans and elves to be nothing more but lowly insects, and prioritizes the Great Red Devourer over us. Also, there are a few more things about the Great Red Devourer that needs to be verified here.

I throw the two swords high into the air and bring out the Holy Grail! With this, my form changes from that of a male to that of a female character! But that’s not over! All thanks to the Crystal Scorpions! The male version has the same kanji characters, but you read it “Crystal Armor” instead! But anyways, for me, this armor is nothing more but a consumable item!

While changing into the Crystal Dress, I jump off the tri-headed Tyranno’s back, as it has surely grown annoyed with an insect sitting there for so long and started to shake its back to throw me off. At the same time I grasp the jet-black crystal in my hand and activate its effect.
A series of cracks form all across the crystal dress. This is a material damage, so there is probably more going on to it than I can confirm with a naked eye. Then the parts of the shattered crystal turn into small snow-like particles and disperse all over my body, tightening and solidifying into black shadows forming a new apparel.

Great Red Devourer is one thing, because it treats everyone else like livestock! But you! You are on a completely different category of degeneracy!!!

At just the right moment, I catch the two swords in my hands that were thrown in the air before. One hand catches the scorching black sword and the other catches the blue sword. Just then, adorned in a black mourning dress, I brandish those two swords and glare straight at the bright red monster.
