Xiaoyao Meiqi kicked the ground and jumped towards Ye Mo . The purple sword came down in an arc, aiming at Ye Mo’s head .

Ye Mo steadied the Formation-Breaking Spear on top of his head and took the sword head on . As soon as the sword came in contact with the spear, a gush of energy spread through Ye Mo’s body . It was so powerful that the Dragon Blood that was protecting his body vibrated from the impact .

An Energy Shaping Second Realm warrior could send shockwaves of energy through their attacks . Even if Xiaoyao Meiqi was still a First Realm warrior, she was still able to cause minor shockwaves .

One hit was enough to break the wooden ground Ye Mo was standing on, and he dropped into the room below them .

One man and one lady were having fun on the bed when Ye Mo came crashing down . The man almost cursed but quickly caught on to the situation and hid under the blanket .

“A charm?” Xiaoyao Meiqi gasped, and her face darkened .

Xiaoyao Meiqi could feel the air around her getting colder even when the charm hadn’t yet released its full power .

The Dragon Energy had increased the charm’s effect to its maximum potential . The Heavenly Frost Charm exploded, and a whirlwind of blizzards blew through the whole hotel .

The couple that was in the room died instantly from the cold . Xiaoyao Meiqi’s movement had slowed down as her energy began to freeze .

Ye Mo jumped back into the room they were in before . He took the Cursed Pearl that was under the bed and left abruptly .

Half of the hotel was covered in ice from Ye Mo’s charm attack .

A few minutes after Ye Mo had left, a girl jumped through the hotel’s roof and landed . Her gown and hair were dripping wet from the melted ice . Xiaoyao Meiqi could still feel the cold from the charm as she cursed . “Ye Mo! I’ll burn you to ashes!”

Ye Mo escaped back to the inn where Cai Ling was waiting for him . His face was already as pale as a ghost .

“What power!” Ye Mo coughed . If not for the Dragon Blood protecting him, Ye Mo would’ve died from Xiaoyao Meiqi’s Vibration Force .

Cai Ling could feel something was off from Ye Mo’s breathing, and drops of blood could be seen on Ye Mo’s lips .

“Did you get it?” Cai Ling asked .

“Yes, I got the pearl,” Ye Mo said . “But Xiaoyao Meiqi has ordered to shut the whole city down . It’ll be hard for us to get out of here . ”

Ye Mo sat down and chucked a few refined Energy Recovery Pills into his mouth . The Water-Energy Core in his Energy Center began to help him recover from the wound he suffered .

“We should fight our way out of this city before Xiaoyao Langzi returns,” Cai Ling said .

All hope would be lost if Xiaoyao Langzi were to return before they could leave .

Ye Mo nodded and began to focus on recovering . After an hour had passed, all of his wounds were healed .

Ye Mo continued to meditate as he understood he needed to raise his cultivation level as soon as possible .

A total of 65 Dragon Energies had awakened from the Rising Dragon Pillar and were now circulating in his Energy Center . Each of Ye Mo’s Mortal Gates could now withstand a total of 12 dragons .

The Dragon Energies weren’t that hard to awaken, but what troubled Ye Mo was the advancing speed of his cultivation level .

Even if Ye Mo had the power to defeat an Energy Shaping First Realm warrior, he still could not shape his energy .

He smiled as he knew that it would only be days before he broke through to the Spirit Cultivating Sixth Realm where he could control a total of 70 Dragon Energies in his Mortal Gates .

“Looks like your meditation was a success . Your cultivation rose quite a lot,” Cai Ling commented . She’d woken hours before Ye Mo and was concentrating on the boy that was meditating in front of her .

“Yes, a few days more and I should be able to reach the Sixth Realm!” Ye Mo replied .

“How do you think you would fare if you were to fight your way out of this city right now?” Cai Ling asked .

“About 60% likely to survive, with the help of the Heavenly Frost Charm,” Ye Mo said . “I should be able to put up a fight with a Half-Energy Shaping Realm warrior . If I were to advance, then I could kill them all off with one strike . ”

“Then we should wait a few more days,” Cai Ling said . “We’ll leave when you’ve reached the Sixth Realm . ”

“No, I don’t have much time left,” Ye Mo said and shook his head . “I’ll have to get my hands on the Goddess’s Tear as soon as possible . Plus, we aren’t safe here with Xiaoyao Meiqi looking for us all around the city . ”

“I thought you said you could enhance your weapon with the Cursed Pearl . Why don’t you try it now?” Cai Ling suggested .

Ye Mo flinched at the idea . He had originally planned to enhance the Formation-Breaking Spear after they had left the city and could find themselves a remote location .

The enhancement of a Magic Weapon to a Spiritual Weapon would cause a huge commotion . Doing that in the city could bring Ye Mo trouble .
