Are You Two Enemies?

"Your wound has ruptured . " Jing Yue said in a low voice .

"Ha . . . I didn’t expect you to care," sneered Xiao Chen disdainfully and stared at Jing Yue's face in silence .

" . . . " Jing Yue was stunned by what he said and suddenly felt chocked .

"Have you met Helian Xiu?" Xiao Chen approached Jing Yue slowly .

"Last time we made a bet, and I lost it, so I promised him  three requests . Today I went out to fulfill the first one . " Jing Yue lowered her head and whispered .

"You lost a bet?" Xiao Chen frowned slowly and stared at Jing Yue . His eyes were full of inquiries and examination, as if he was asking why he knew nothing about that bet . Jing Yue swallowed and then told him about the bet .

Staring at Jing Yue, Xiao Chen asked, “So, you were taken away by Helian Xiu rather than going to find him yourself?” His face was slightly relieved .

“Yes . . . "Jing yue lowered her head and said," I just wanted to go to the restaurant, and I didn't expect to meet him on the way . ”

Xiao Chen relieved slowly, but his face was paler because now he felt the pain from the wound .

"I'm sorry . . . "Jing Yue lowered her head and whispered . " I didn't know it would be like this . . . And you’ve got hurt . . . "

Xiao Chen sat at the table, while his hand touched something . He paused for a moment and then looked at the big red sachet on the table . There were embroidered patterns on it . Two ducks? He had no idea what they were .

" . . . " Xiao Chen picked the sachet up silently and then looked at Jing Yue in confusion .   

"That . . . . . . That . . . " Jing Yue looked at the sachet with embarrassment . “I couldn’t learn to embroider mandarin duck, so I made that one . . . Such as it is, you can give it back to me if you dislike it . ”

"This is for me?” Xiao Chen shivered and looked at her in disbelief .

“Well, I wanted to buy one for you, this one is too ugly . " Jing Yue silently lowered her head . That was too embarrassing!

"No, I like it . " Xiao Chen looked at the sachet with shinning eyes and smiled brightly, as if he was looking at a treasure . Seeing his face soften, Jing Yue approached, “Your wound . . . . . . ”

"I’m OK . " Xiao Chen hold the sachet tightly, and took Jing Yue in his arms . “From now on, stay away from Helian Xiu,” said Xiao Chen in a gloomy tone .

"Why? Are you two enemies?" Jing Yue slightly pushed Xiao Chen, for fear of touching his wound . On hearing his words, she asked in doubt .

"Nothing . I won’t allow you to meet him anymore . " Xiao Chen let her go and answered in a solemnity .

“But . . . I still owe him two requests . " Jing Yue blinked her eyes and asked .

"You don't have to keep your word with people like him . " Xiao Chen stood up and walked toward the bed while holding her hand in his own, with an unpredictable look . Jing Yue looked at Xiao Chen's side face and had a strange feeling in her heart, ‘Why Xiao Chen has so many negative impression of Helian Xiu?’

"Xiao Chen, what kind of person on earth is he?" Jing Yue helped Xiao Chen sit down and asked .
