In other words, this contest was held to give pressure to Lux who had the most power in Brett.

However, it was a waste to throw away all the other candidates, so they might as well participate in the contest.

I thought it was a coincidence for me to get the Pendant of Stardust during that incident with Zir, but with how they kept popping up before me I wonder if there was something to this.
