Chapter 62

The pain made Zhuang Nai Nai gasps a little .   He promptly slows down .

His now gentle and careful caress gives her a false sense of protection .

She clenches her fists as she closes her eyes, her body trembling a little .

She can feel her body turning light .   Turns out, the quilt that she has wrapped around her body has been taken off .   He presses himself against her again before taking off her night dress using force .   She tries to push him away but he grabs her by the wrists and subdues her .

And then, he goes for it .

Her body arches from the pain as she frowns, tears unconsciously pooling on her eyes .

He moves a little before whispering to her ears, “Nai Nai…”

The familiar way he addresses her stuns her .

A peculiar feeling rises inside her heart .

At that moment, the pain intensifies .

Zhuang Nai Nai feels like she is a small boat left adrift on a turbulent sea .   She reaches the peak of the wave before promptly falling back down .

Under that situation, her mind gradually becomes blurry .   She can hear him talking to her amidst a half-awake, half-asleep state, “I didn’t prepare those things, Nai Nai .   I didn’t need them to satisfy you . ”

Her head stops turning .   Before she even gets to comprehend what he is saying, another wave hits her .

The first light of dawn slithers through the cracks of the curtain .   Si Zheng Ting is wide awake as he stares at Zhuang Nai Nai who is in deep sleep .

She must be really tired .   She is sleeping motionlessly, as though she is not even breathing .   Everything feels surreal .   Only her lips are curled in a stubborn manner .

Si Zheng Ting stares at her with eyes full of warmth and gentleness .

The air still carries traces of their previous love-making .   Remembering their madness last night, he swallows heavily .   He looks at her beautiful face and cannot stop himself from giving her a peck in the lips .

That kiss seems to disturb her in her dream .   She frowns and turns around, continuing to sleep .

As she turns around, she accidentally reveals her arm as well as the love-marks that adorn it .

Seeing how tired she looks, Si Zheng Ting takes a deep breath and calms down the desire in his heart .   He gets off the bed .

He turns around and looks back at her who is sleeping on that huge European-styled bed .

His usually cold lips curl up into a smile .

He suddenly remembers something that happened years ago .

They were in high school and were in their Chinese lesson .   Their teacher told them to write an essay about their dreams .  She kept looking at him nefariously while writing her’s .

After their class ended, their teacher suddenly entered the classroom in a huff and slammed the essay on Zhuang Nai Nai’s table, “Is this how you are going to be, Zhuang Nai Nai?”

Everyone looked at her .

Zhuang Nai Nai looked back at the teacher innocently, “What did I do, teacher?”

The teacher got angrier when he saw that innocent expression on her face, “You—- Alright!  Alright!  Since you dared to write it, why don’t you read it in front of your classmates?”
