Story 3 Goblin Extermination

I stand at the slightly raised place that slightly away from the village, when I use the skill <Hawk Eyes> to look around, there is one of it nearby, a <Goblin> with a stupid face was walking around while looking restlessly.

Turning off the skill <Hawk Eyes>, I add a bonus value on my SKL status.

There is no other <Goblin> near it.

At the distance of 10m behind the <Goblin>, I set a <Stone> on the <Sling> and then spinning it around.

*hyun hyun* kind of sound became stronger, noticing that sound, the <Goblin> faced toward here, at that moment!

The <Stone> was flying away together with a *hyuu* sound, *ppa* hitting the center of the <Goblin> face, a red things is scattered away.

*thud* The <Goblin> looking upwards and falls just like that.

For the time being, I’m setting up the next stone, preparing for the 2nd attack, I spin the <Stone> around but, the <Goblin> is not getting up.

I wait for around 5 minutes but, because it’s not getting up at all, I shift the <Log Stick> to my right hand and approaches it.

*tsuntsun* I poke its leg using the <Log Stick> but, there is no response.

When I peek it’s face from above, it’s face became pulpy, it was an instant death.

“So fast!”

That’s the impression that I feel frankly.

For the time being, using the <Short Sword> that the <Goblin> held on its hand, I cut its right ear, then making a hole on some part of it, I passed through the leftover string from the <Sling> production time to that hole.

Afterwards, I continue to hunt the <Goblin> in the same way, only in the afternoon, after I exterminated 10 <Goblin> and receiving 10 <Short Sword>, that I returned to the <Village>.

When I arrive at the place where I can see the <Village’s Gate>, The Sister was wandering restlessly with a worried expression.

Apparently, it seems that one villager saw the appearance of me leaving through the gate.

It’s quite easy, huh.

I earned 2,000 Zeni just like that.

In that sense, it’s means that I earn close to 20,000 Yen in 3 hours.

For now, I return straight to the <Church>, and go nursing the fainted Sister together with the children.

That night, I got lectured by Father-sama for close to 2 hour but, by persuading him with a talk that it was for the village sake, and I’m able to easily defeat 10 monster, I was able to received permission to do <Goblin Extermination> from now on from Father-sama reluctantly.

A month after that, in the morning, I cleaning and preparing the meal at the <Church>, and commencing <Goblin Extermination> around the <Village> from the afternoon.

Saying from the result that I received, it was a huge success.

I was able to earn a considerable amount.

Using the really efficient <Hawk Eyes> skill, I search for only a lonely <Goblin>, then creep up on it from its behind, and attack it with <Slingshot> in a single blow.

Because every afternoon at around 4 p.m. I will certainly came exterminating around 10 <Goblin>, <The Village Head> and everyone else was astonished and then delighted by it.

I was also able to save some money, on the only <Second-Hand Shop> in <the Village>, I buy a complete set of <Leather Equipment>, I was also buying <Small Shield>, <Short Spear>, and <Bow & Arrow>, the overall defense and offense value got raised.

If the <Equipment> got improved, it would became a piece of a cake for me to even defeating a group of <Goblin>.

My LV is also became １→４, and my Skill Bonus was also became 10.

With the increase in the Skill Bonus, various Skill got unlocked.

First of all, whatever people would says it’s Magic.

<Fire Magic>, <Fire Arrow>.

<Water Magic>, <Water Shoot>.

<Wind Magic>, <Wind Cutter>.

<Earth Magic>, <Earth Wall>.

<Recovery Magic>, <Light Heal>.

But, a big problem occurred.

My MP was too few.

I suddenly realized that when I chant <Fire Arrow> for the second time on top of the slope inside the forest.

I lost my consciousness suddenly, and collapsed.

Fortunately, as there were no <Monster> around, it’s not became a problem, it was really dangerous.

Afterwards, once again I chanted for two times, and when I measured the time it takes for me to be fainted, I was fainting for around 15 minutes.

At this rate, it can hardly be used in combat.

Oh well, in the first place, there is no way for everything to go smooth just like that, right?

Originally, if there are no things like <Skill Bonus>, despite for me being LV 4, my ability is inferior than the 20 y.o. LV 1 Villager B, Joni-san.

Incidentally, whereupon I asked Father-sama about <Magic>, it seems that for someone to be able to use <Magic> its needs for someone with a talent in <Magic> to learn with all their might for close to 10 years then they will be barely able to use it.

Because of that, there is no way for me, who are an office worker by the window*, to easily become a magnificent <Magician>.

Oh well, in the end there is only raising more of my LV, training my ability personally, or gathering money and then relying on whatever tools I can get, are the only thing that can be put in use on combat.

Various things happened, it’s been 2 (two) months since I start <Goblin Extermination>, the <Goblin> around the <Village> are, mostly exterminated, gone.

The <Villager> is happy because the <Goblin> was gone, whereupon a different disaster than <Goblin> was occurring.
