Chapter 3: Game / The girl of the mysterious voice / Rescue

To a pitch-dark world.

Emilia, Claire, Latia, Aila and Ryuuto were inside them, all members of the capture team.

He couldn’t hear their voices, but their bodies and mouths were moving inside the capsules, and when he got to Emilia, *bang* *bang*, he also hit the glass of the capsule with both hands. 

It appeared that they were saying that he could get out from here.

*TN: term used is ?? (taisetsu): it’s been used a number of times throughout the series, but in this particular case I don’t know what term fits better here. It can mean: beloved, precious, dear, cherished, valuable among other uses. 

When the girl finished saying that, the light of the capsules of Emilia and Claire disappeared, the two crumbled down from their knees. 

– Emilia! 

Even when Hayato called her, she didn’t reply. 

– President Claire! 

That call had the same result. 

The capsules descended slowly and when their movement came to an end, the transparent lids opened. 

– Emilia, president! 

While calling them again, Hayato rushed to where the two collapsed as if they had jumped out from the capsules. 

Both of them were moving. 

They recovered consciousness somehow. 

– Hayato… what is this?

Emilia and Claire, placing both hands on the ground, asked Hayato while standing up. 

Then, the little girl replied. 

– You’re going to play the game from now on. 

– Game you say? 

– Yeah, the three of you are just one team. By betting the survival and escape from this planet, I’ll make you kill each other with the team of the other three.

While the voices of Claire and Emilia gathered as they stared in wonder, the light of the rest of the capsules disappeared. 

Next, and like it happened with Claire and Emilia, the capsules started to descend.

Because of that, Latia, Aila and Ryuuto, who fell as if they jumped out from the capsules, placed their hands on the ground almost at the same time and raised slowly.

It was obvious that they weren’t in a normal condition.

Following the words of the girl, Latia jumped out.

She rushed to attack Emilia while screaming.
