“I said that it would be detrimental to their house if they didn’t testify.”

Roy said plainly and outrageously. Zsolus couldn’t help but want to hold his forehead.

“Your Majesty, it’s a threat.”

“No, it’s true, Uncle. In fact, it was more detrimental to them to leave that woman alone.”

“It’s a scam.”

Zsolus held his forehead.

There was no way that it wasn’t a problem. But, in Roy’s opinion, all was well.

“It is very thoughtful of you to take the trouble to send a message and stop her the day before.”

“Of course. She’s your wife, after all.”

For a moment, Roy and Zsolus’ eyes click together.

“Your Majesty, you should learn to treat women better.”

It was something that he had said to Roy many times.

“Uncle, I am the King. If you want to make women happy, it is only by improving their living conditions and making the country more wealthy. We don’t need to be kind to individuals.
