Chapter 16: Cold Ice Fruit

“It wants to run away! Stop it!” The leader yelled, “It’s already seriously injured, we can earn a killing once we finish  it off!”

I secretly cheered for this boss in my mind!

You need to do it, do it with all your might. Doing it until you’re dead is good, the more that die, the better. If all of you die, that’s even better.

Finally, under the difficult exploration, a light suddenly flashed before my eyes, and a strange looking vine appeared.

Large leaves which were the size of a palm were growing all over a blue vine. The leaves were transparent, as if they were made from ice, and it was rooted on top of a huge ice cube. Tightly grabbing and growing on the ice-covered rocks, there were also a bunch of transparent white flowers blooming and a milky white fruit the size of an apple.

That thing should be the legendary Cold Ice Fruit!

In the short time I was distracted, I heard the sound of footsteps. They came pretty fast.

The sounds in the cave were quite clear.

Evaluation: A cannon fodder among demon beasts. Considered a part of the lower end of the food chain. You should be happy you aren’t the lowest. Right!

I got upgraded!

They say one is bound for good fortune after surviving a great disaster, the ancient people weren’t cheating me!

I got happy too early though, the Cold Ice Fruit was still stirring up trouble. Countless blue spirit power continued to rush to my crystal Stone, I was almost crying.

Why is it that I must feel pain every time I got an upgrade?

I don’t know how long it had been, but I finally got to stand up with great difficulty. My body started recovering to its optimum level. Even my grade has improved to Acquire Fourth Level.
