Chapter 473

Xue Ying was by his lonesome in the vast world spanning millions of kilometers inside the inner world of his true body . The world was filled with earth, forests, mountains, rivers, deserts, plains, plants…but there was no sign of animal life within .

High up in this world's sky, there were countless dark droplets of water which condensed to form a huge dark cloud . This was the materialization of Xue Ying's Great Chaotic True Force .

Underground, deep beneath this vast land, there was a vast fiery-red force surging and flowing about; it was Xue Ying's fundamental energy—World Deity energy! At the core of this ocean of energy, countless seals fused together to form a solid but blurry construct, where, after some processing, World Deity energy was condensed into streams of air!

This secret technique is very complex . My comprehension regarding the World Deity Heart is quite deep, and I was even able to create a full set of secret skills, yet I'm still finding it tough to train in this secret skill .  The same underground location contained an enormous illusory image of Xue Ying's head, which he was thoroughly inspecting at the moment .

As more time passed, the blurriness of that solid image began to clear up as countless seals were finely integrating with each other to form a complete construct .

About three more years later, the solid image finally cleared up completely .

It was now a black spherical body!

Indeed, the countless seals eventually melded into a tiny black sphere . This sphere seemed ordinary on the surface, but it was exceptionally profound . In fact, this secret technique was much more profound than any of the ordinary World Deity ranked secret techniques . Even successfully cultivating it to the first step was this difficult .

The sea of fiery-red Deity energy was processed by the black sphere to form more tiny black spherical bodies, and these resulting spheres chained together to form shackles!

The long black shackles were tangled up and continually collided with one another .

Finally, I've succeeded in training this technique .

The white-robed Xue Ying stood up from under the three for the first time in more than three years, and many black shackles suddenly flew out from his body . These countless fine shackles were moving unhindered through the sky .

Any opponent bound by these shackles…if they try to struggle free, they will just end up bound even tighter .  Xue Ying grabbed onto one of the many surrounding shackles . Its surface was ice-cold, and it was very tough .  Under the binding of these shackles, even my true body would probably fail to exert more than half of its true strength .

This mystical secret technique I've learned in the 95th level world…since teacher hasn't named it, I shall temporarily refer to it as World Shackles, Xue Ying decided .  If I use this secret technique together with the other secret skill I've created, World Prison, my total strength will likely increase by a lot!

This World Shackles technique was similar to how the Great Chaotic True Force operated .

Both were a type of strength formed through processed World Deity energy! While the Great Chaotic True Force focused on brute strength, the World Shackles specialized in binding .

Xue Ying's self-created skill, World Prison, was originally meant to move World energy by means of a mysterious manner, stacking multiple times in order to forcibly restrain his enemy! It was a manner of activating World energy which he termed World Prison .

But now, I can use the power of the World Shackles to forcibly restrict the enemy instead!

If I operate these World Shackles to display the World Prison, its strength becomes even more formidable!

Xue Ying laughed .  Only a prison formed using shackles can be called a true prison .

He was vaguely beginning to feel that the White Sand City Lord's secret technique known as Annihilation White Sand, despite generally being considered to have been created using a World Deity ranked secret technique as a base, was rather some sort of fusion between secret techniques from the Sealed World Pagoda which White Sand only created after spending much effort! It was the only way for it to be this powerful . After all, as soon as the White Sand City Lord used his Annihilation White Sand, most stage three World Deities would only ever escape after suffering heavy injury! As for those who did not flee, they would merely be able to display a portion of their total strength .

Because he had already created a secret skill beforehand, which he now used in combination with the shackles, Xue Ying only had to spent about three hundred years to improve on his original technique so as to employ the shackles before finally forming this new version of World Prison!

The current iteration of this domain secret skill would stack layers upon layers of extremely dark shackles in an exquisite pattern . Xue Ying estimated that, of stage one World Deities, only experts with the technique to quickly escape the technique might survive . As for those who failed to do so…they would only be able to display about twenty to thirty percent of their total combat power .

Unfortunately, my current combat power is simply too weak .  Xue Ying shook his head in dismay .

The World Deity Heart ultimately specialized in domain-related skills . By fusing together his domain secret skill with the secret technique from the Sealed World Pagoda, he eventually succeeded in forming this incredibly powerful, absolute move . But in terms of close-combat strength, Xue Ying estimated that he might only have half that of someone who grasped hold of the Splitting Heavens Deity Heart or the Chaotic Deity Heart . Even so, now that he had the World Prison secret skill, he would not be so easily pushed around .

All of the grade one Deity Hearts had their own strong points, and what truly mattered was whether the user could display them or not!

"You've entered teacher's tutelage about eight hundred years ago, yet you still haven't grasped a grade one Deity Heart?" Disciple Sister Gong Feng questioned .

"I keep feeling like there's something missing," Xue Ying explained .

Gong Feng frowned in response . She was well aware that their teacher, the Bloodshed God Emperor, had clearly stated that Xue Ying would succeed within a thousand years . But eight hundred years already passed, and Xue Ying had still not yet grasped a grade one Deity Heart .

"Teacher likes you quite a bit, so you better not disappoint him," she said with the same frown .

"Junior Disciple Brother understands," Xue Ying replied .

"Mn . Go now . Get back to your business," Gong Feng concluded .

Xue Ying left in the direction of the Sealed World Pagoda .

Gong Feng looked at him from afar, visibly displeased .  Disciple Brother Dong Bo seems quite diligent in his cultivation . But teacher's deduction should not be wrong… Perhaps he's only pretending to be diligent while actually being very lazy?

Hmph! If he's the kind to become lazy in his cultivation just because he became teacher's disciple, he's nothing more than a joke .  Gong Feng's eyes were filled with cold intent .

She truly held those with low combat powers in no regard .

"Bloodshed, you've already obtained this Cosmos Furnace and created the arrays," the black bird on top of the Bloodshed God Emperor's shoulder cried . "You can clearly see that the furnace is occasionally forming that strand of strength . Observe and emulate it closely . The Temporal Island and the Myriad God Palace Head are both likely seeking improvement through different means! But now, Bloodshed, you have seen this strength . Once you break through, you will reach a new realm! You will truly be unparalleled, and you will be able to step down upon all the others!"

For the moment, the Bloodshed God Emperor, the Temporal Island Lord, and a few others were all at the exact same level .

"Mn . " The Bloodshed God Emperor smiled . "I've risked my life to get this Cosmos Furnace . It will prove its worth in the future . "

"By the way, Bloodshed, I've something to remind you of . That disciple Dong Bo Xue Ying you've previously taken in has already cultivated for a thousand years," the black bird began, "but he still hasn't grasped hold of a grade one Deity Heart!"
