「So…… Kagami-dono, do you have something in mind? I think it’s about time you spoke」
After realizing that, Menou approached Kagami and asked him that. Kagami, who was still writhing on the ground, started to giggle cheekily as he raised his thumb, indicating that he seemed to have already thought of a plan.

Tina screamed in alarm while Kagami began to mutter nonsense.
「Menou-chan, we better move after Kagami-chan and Tina-chan have recovered」
「It is true. It’s not the best time to move…… Actually, we are in big trouble, but resting in this place is still our best option」
Takako and Krull, thinking of the danger they were in, quickly tried to stop Menou after seeing him walk towards the Beast’s Fangs•Kemono Kiba-zoku• that where surrounded them. However, Menou just keep moving forward without paying much attention to them.
「They could attack us even if we are just resting. Sure, they might just be on alert now, but we have no guarantee that they won’t start attacking us at any moment. In that case, we must hurry out of this danger zone while they still don’t know what to do. Also, maybe they are just watching us since, after all, we are still dangerous individuals who are camping in the middle of their home, so if we leave, it could still be convenient for them, don’t you agree?」
Menou said calmly. Despite being completely surrounded, Menou spoke those words calmly without even showing any sign of concern, just like the usual Kagami would. However, his heart was not at all calm. Menou, as if he was being harassed by something, kept walking as if he was trying to escape. However, Takako and Krull did not stop him again, and instead began to follow him, so it seemed that he would no longer have a problem moving forward.
「…… Why are you so impatient?」
Menou finally stopped after Rex asked him that question as he glared at him.
Rex somehow understood Menou. For the sake of becoming able to work properly alongside the Demons, who had been his enemies for a long time, Rex tended to constantly observe Alice and Menou in order to better work with them.
Normally, Menou wouldn’t make any suggestions, and instead simply adjusted to his surroundings or gave his point of view towards the opinions given by those around him. He was not the type of person who forced his ideas on others.
「You…… you’ve been acting really unusual since we came to Earth Clear. Are you hiding something from us?」
Rex felt that something was wrong. Normally, when fighting, Menou would stay in a position from which he could protect everyone, tried not to participate too much in the combat itself and dedicated himself to supporting others alongside Tina. While the battle against the Mini Messiah was different from what they had had before, Rex still felt like Menou was trying too hard, like he was desperately trying to achieve something.
Menou was hiding something. That’s the only thing he could think of.
「Re-…… Rex-san, about that-」
「I’m not hiding anything, Rex-dono」
They could no longer hide it. Alice, who thought that, tried to tell everyone the truth, however, Menou wasted no time in silencing her, giving that quick reply while smiling.
He didn’t want them to know. Menou knew that the worst thing that could happen after coming to this world was for everyone to hold them back with the intention of protecting them after discovering the truth. For that reason, Menou and Alice, without even having discussed it with each other, immediately decided that they could not tell the truth to anyone.
And even now, they still didn’t want them to know. If they really wanted to save Earth Clear, they couldn’t waste their time worrying about the their bodies condition.
「I’m doing it because I thought it was for the best. If it really wasn’t like that, then Kagami-dono would have stopped me, don’t you think? If he really thought I was reckless, then Kagami-dono would have stopped me immediately as soon as I started」
Kagami, who had already taken that option into account, didn’t try to stop him, and simply let Menou lead him while swinging his body from side to side.
