They made their preparations to return home right after lunch. They packed their bags and went to greet the training institute employees who took care of them with everyone else.
Afterwards, the members of the Magic Arts Club and Alisa’s group of four rode on a reserved bus that had already arrived and headed to the station closest to the training institute.
Like when they arrived, Alisa and Marika headed to the station closest to their homes while feeling cramped inside a Cabinet. The difference compared to four days ago is that Marika looked sleepy, despite holding the bulky luggage.
Must be the fatigue from the training camp. In addition to the fatigue accumulated until yesterday, Marika used up her physical and mental strength experimenting to learn the new magic during the whole morning.
“Mina, I’ll wake you up, so go ahead and sleep.”
Alisa talked to her from the neighboring seat. She was also carrying a large bag on her knees and it was impossible for her to take Marika’s luggage, so she thought to at least be a replacement for an alarm clock.
Though in truth, Alisa was sleepy too.
“Thank you. I’ll trust you on that.”
Marika stopped resisting her drowsiness.
She faced down and closed her eyes.
“Asha, I’ll do my best.”
Was that all he wanted to say before falling asleep? With her eyes still closed, she spoke with clumsy articulation.
“With what I’ve been taught, I’m sure...”
Sleeping breaths replaced words. Maybe it was something like half sleep-talking.
Even so, Alisa understood what Marika tried to say.
Marika was promising Alisa that ‘she will master the magic she learned from Erika and Leo’.
